BYE GONE BE BYE GONE

Whatever you've lost
Don't go in search for it
If you can't find it
It always leave you insane
Start looking for who to blame.
Transfer your pain into glory
Leave story, let bye gone be bye gone.

I'm so funny
But not cunning
Ha ha ha ha ha
The vibes I give
Always keep you laughing
If we believe, then we'll receive
Let go whatever that doesn't choose you.

Bright is the way
When it's your time
When's not your time
Sometimes very dark
If there's none to lean on.
What belongs to you
Will always be with, by and around you.

Slave and Salve

I
its funny how words contain stories
call them by the synonym, mysteries

SLAVE also has an antidote: SALVE
where SALE of humans rendered some HALVES
of what Nature's God had given ("inalienable rights")

I wrote before: SAVIOUR, spelled so,
has within its letters: 'OUR VISA' to Heaven
Kids have often said DOG and GOD are close
Or "I" am in the middle of a PiG (I am not!)
Just the Letter "i" is in the midst of letters P, i, G

So, as you awake or prepare for work, lunch, snack, or sleep
I suggest a combo of games help redirect, change our focus
From the issues of the day (We had no piped water for 10 days, and)
In sunny South Africa, LOADSHEDDING means power is rationed
So we have six hours a day of cold food and overworked diesel generators
In a digital nation, where banks do not offer much cash: phone
Or internet banking, the order of the day - and no one told my Government!

Remember then, SHALOM SHALOM - as you think of home
Whether on earth or heaven, we need lessons on keeping sane and sad-free

Smiling Entries and Offerings

I
I give thanks to The LORD six days a week. I forget which days I forget!

II
Little Jack Horner refused to sit in the corner: I may be little, he said, but I have a right to free pie

Premium MemberDroplets of Wisdom

To be able to give
unconditional love
to someone
one must look inward
and ask...

 "Do I love myself first?"

To decipher
the meaning of life
one must look outward
and ask two questions.

"Have I really lived?"
"What is my purpose for existing?"

To know ourselves better
inside out, outside in
we must look through the eyes
of others to see
our reflection;
forget the mirror!

To fully appreciate
the true value of anything
held dear, it must be lost
or be temporarily stripped away
funny how that works
but it's true.

To understand
what truly makes a man
one must see him
go through a baptism of fire,
stand in the eye of the storm
his faith and resolve
tested.

Premium MemberRoad Rage

It takes two to tango,
as they say.
It also takes two
to road rage.
It sure is fun watching
two insane,
out-of-control knuckleheads
zigzag aggressively
on the highway
with their driver windows down;
honking their car horns,
screaming
vile obscenities back and forth!
Classy guys exchanging "bird flips"
as they chase each other down;
both angry enough
to run each other off the road,
if they ever end up
side by side!
Can you imagine
being caught up in that craziness?
Two banshees on steroids;
funny considering
one can't understand the other.
That's exactly how to communicate!
In the midst
of all the chaotic madness,
me and you; two safe drivers
sharing the road with two idiots
without a care in the world
about the safety of others;
completely oblivious
they're also playing Russian Roulette
with their own lives.
Neither of the two
possessing the presence of mind
to simply disengage
and turn down the heat
before it spells disaster!
Do not tailgate
these uncivilized loons.
Pullover to the shoulder,
or better yet,
take the next exit to safety.

Coaxing the Morning

"For all the writers, brothers, sisters ... on our Only Ecosystem, Earth"
I
Some mornings are teenagers, or worse -
Some mornings might combine junior and senior citizens
Who know it all, or they have seen it all -
How do we begin? Philosophically ...

II
Okay, that's a big, overused word -
I meant, let us begin spiritually:
Let us coax each morning, to be cordial, communicative ...
"Morning, we are alive!" That's the first plus; secondly,
As with your teens, coax the morning to be kind, attentive ....

III
Have I lost you now, what with "kindness" and all?
I'll get to the point: persuade the morning, "Breath
Equals Hope, that something or someone good will come ..."
(I know the BEST will, next time as KING!) I lost you now?
So, this is a wrap: Talk to the mornings as to someone you love :
The Morning is as much your child as Mary and Josh. Show your LOVE!

shalom, shalom: Enjoy each day. It is NOT easy. No one said it is. H O P E!

Scratch Limit

As I turned to swallow the bolus
I had been chewing all long
with all the contents sandwiched
Between my toothless Jews long
I succumbed to a real toothache

What's 'Appening

Look around.
Crowds everywhere,
But not a sound
Everyone has become so tech savvy
That ‘chat’ has replaced ‘talk’, you see.
The ‘not so smart’ fellow
Doesn’t respond to your ‘Hello’
Because he’s feverishly tapping on his ‘smart’ phone
Can’t you see, you moron.
Everyone is hooked on to it
It’s so bad, if you cannot fit
Into their scheme of things
Because with you,
There is no status update, no messaging.
In that case, don’t blame others
Actually you are at fault brother.
When social sites have replaced socializing,
You too jump on the bandwagon,
Instead of exclaiming,
“What’s ‘appening?

Fussi and Them

One spoke, saying "we know what he's trying to do"
buying a ring, "that aint special mista". You act like
she loves you and all, we aint about that she'll say.
Who is he?" I bettcha that's what she'll say when
I mettle this, and find out the real reason, you
trying to marry-up on this Chix!"
Who are you? I asked, and he spoke to me saying
I am your everything! who is this Chix, you fronting on?
You know her I don't. I want to by my beautiful fiancé a ring
and your here in my world, scanning me like you know me.
Who are you man? Who are you?
"Eye am Yo every thang" She gonna laugh in your face
when you give her that, like she has the
capacity to love you, We don't do that.

Conduct your business. Mista Mastro conduct your business!
The wine gonna taste funny, and the pie gonna make you cringe,
stand back when she start's throwing things. Go on and conduct
your business. And if she say yes, ya'll be fussin' actin like
you aint cheap, you cheap, that's right you cheap!
He snapped his fingers and
headed out the door.

TRICK TREAT CRASH

bullied time after time after time
rolling is funny
but as time goes by and by
humor says goodbye
falling leaves dying and dying
line crossed after midnight
father is on a vendetta to snap and snap
rolling up to one of the cars
taking pictures of the license plate
the other car speeds on and on
the driver of the getaway car
has had her license for a moment, a moment
in time, she turns off her lights in the dead of night
the shadowy car wraps and wraps
itself around an innocent tree, the victim’s father
cries and cries, as he finds his daughter’s classmates

beside himself on court tv, in its early days
he lives his shame over and over again

a lesson to be learned, by the impulsive!
think and think, before you follow your instincts!

Premium MemberFeelings Erupt From Well of Emotions

Feeling come, feelings go. How are you Feeling?
Feelings well up from wells of emotions deep within the psyche
Feelings are emotional responses to happenings, reflections and expectations.
You may feel sad, angry, happy, depressed, frustrated, elated, ecstatic.
But what are feelings and why do we become aware of them?

Emotions are physical, instinctive and hard-wired.
You see a lion you get scared.
Seeing something funny makes you happy.
There are just seven basic emotions:
Fear, Anger, Sadness, Joy, Disgust, Trust, Anticipation.

Feelings are mental associations and reactions to an emotion
Feelings are personal, and well up from emotional experiences.
There are more than 3,000 feelings, for just 7 emotions.
How you feel is a response to an emotion or happening.
It is something personal to you, and may differ enormously with time and circumstances.
Different people also have different feelings to the same emotion.
The lesson is that you can control and modify how you feel
So, How are you Feeling? How do you want to Feel?

Tails

We all have demons we struggle to escape from,

We hear stories of how people overcame theirs,

But really how did they do it,

How did they get through it,

Coze it seems easier said than done,

It all seems like a perfect plan,

Until you start,

Days go by and before you know it you’ve become undone,

It’s funny because you’re worse off than you were before.

A coin has two sides,

So does this journey,

Heads for overcoming,

Tails for enslavement,

Deliverance may just be a flip away,

But so is pain and struggle,

Long cold nights when you have no one to cuddle,

It’s just you and a puddle full of your tears,

And in the reflection you see your fears.

As for now I can only see one side of the coin,

Maybe I’ll write to you when I get to the other side.

Bazookas In the Bed

Bazookas In The Bed

We have a mosquito problem
It’s in our house. It never ends
There’s nothing we can do but shoot them
Then shoot them over and over again
You see…You understand…They’re not our friends
Potions, tonics, sprays all make them happy
It gives them strength to multiply
We’re looking to make their lives less comfy
Less pleasant less satisfied
It’s not from animus or hate
Shells and ammo is the case. It’s simply fate
And to that end
I stay up late at night and wait
7 bazookas by my side and sights are ready
And from my bed in the deepest dark
I fire at will! I fire straight!
The idea is not to simply kill them
Though that would be so very great
But to make them really really dead
With bazooka fire power from my bed

That Music

That good music has always been played,
To whose tune we've always been made.
Come and see how we dance ourselves to death,
While they prepare our places in the earth.

We are puppetted by crook fingers
Muted by prospects of our bread.
Oh! That strain again, an abomination.
Our ancestors rusting in the earth
Weeping.

We sing and pray to their heaven, their white God,
Praising them drunkenly in the taverns
Our funny suits clinging to dripping bodies-
Cups filled yet again for our health.
And we sing, drunks babbling.

And as we wine like dipsomaniacs,
Our gold and fruits are minded-
We sing in ecstasy urging the crime
Pleasing their greed and killing the time.

When they have stolen enough and gone,
Back to those taverns we run
To sing and dine with ghost
Laughing at us from the shadows.
Ha!Ha!Ha!
