What's 'Appening
Look around.
Crowds everywhere,
But not a sound
Everyone has become so tech savvy
That ‘chat’ has replaced ‘talk’, you see.
The ‘not so smart’ fellow
Doesn’t respond to your ‘Hello’
Because he’s feverishly tapping on his ‘smart’ phone
Can’t you see, you moron.
Everyone is hooked on to it
It’s so bad, if you cannot fit
Into their scheme of things
Because with you,
There is no status update, no messaging.
In that case, don’t blame others
Actually you are at fault brother.
When social sites have replaced socializing,
You too jump on the bandwagon,
Instead of exclaiming,
“What’s ‘appening?
