Tails

We all have demons we struggle to escape from, We hear stories of how people overcame theirs, But really how did they do it, How did they get through it, Coze it seems easier said than done, It all seems like a perfect plan, Until you start, Days go by and before you know it you’ve become undone, It’s funny because you’re worse off than you were before. A coin has two sides, So does this journey, Heads for overcoming, Tails for enslavement, Deliverance may just be a flip away, But so is pain and struggle, Long cold nights when you have no one to cuddle, It’s just you and a puddle full of your tears, And in the reflection you see your fears. As for now I can only see one side of the coin, Maybe I’ll write to you when I get to the other side.
