Premium Member Scarred World

To embrace future one must put behind past
Scars of the world feeds our depths emotions
Hatred upon our hearts just as we find love
I come from beauty but do not find
A image into reality concept to living
Broken soul with no perception has what purpose
But the darkness which laid that feeds

Man's spirit embrace but are they free
Tied to world torn beneath their own greed
Past graves as if today demise be meet
We as society united in themselves wicked doing
Diverse humanity denouncing religion beliefs to existence
Pleasure of one's desire devouring the journey

We are blind as if naive our mind deadly as the tongue
Where comes the soul creatures breath life
Blood run veins pumped survival instinct
Spiritual deposition of man who walked the waters
Where is it we live but yet to endure peace
Except among mankind, cuts lashed bone deep
Scars, reminder world's beating to man I become
Scarred by world ambition I die sin to law
Not of the world my soul I give but only the body

Premium Member Rose-Coloured Glasses

The calamity of the world,
The cries of hunger ring so loud,
The wars slaughtering so many—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.

Wildfires keep burning so brightly,
Lives destroyed all in one big sweep.
Families weeping and searching—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.

The greed of money knows no end,
Men with egos at the table,
Denouncing the name of the Lord—
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.

Hate has more power than love now,
An eye for an eye, so deadly.
Living hell on earth, so I grab
My rose-coloured glasses I wear.

Premium Member The Stooge and the Vixen - In Trumps Own Words

Bragg's just an ass, a poor leftist stooge
Bought for in full by the Soros machine,
Why target me when he knows he will lose
His obvious intentions malicious and mean.

As to that Stormy, a vixen indeed,
She's now named me ‘Tiny’ can't clearly be true,
Her one claim to fame fueled by greed
The day I first met her is the day I now rue.

But let them come on these little red ants,
For they fail to see that if their venom may sting
Their incredible ravings and irascible rants
Provide the real juice to make my fans sing.

In chorus the cry my name in support
The Trump flags unfurled throughout this great land,
Denouncing the wrongs of my reign cut so short,
Making it known where each of them stand.

I've said it before but I'll say it again,
They stole what was mine for the very last time,
But this go around I'll make it quite plain
Whatever they throw will fade just like slime.

Premium Member Each Passing Cloud

Aimlessly wander veiled memories of yore
Each passing cloud subtly brings to fore
Recalling regrets, where laments agonize,
Thinking of you, searching forsaken skies,
Muting spent emotions of anguished eyes.

O how we rejoiced in blissful sunny days
When dawns arose on glinted arc ablaze
As golden beams pierced shrouded haze
Defying onslaught of darkened malaise
Intent on blotting zealous romantic phase.

Recalling ardent dreams with you I stroll
Where gleam of your smile brightens soul
As allure of amorous past feelings cajole
Emanating from desires heartbeats extol
In language of passion yesteryears scroll.

Every cloud etches effigy of love gone awry
Yet, thunder of stygian vibes fiercely I defy,
For return of clear skies in your longing I vie
Denouncing certitude hosting forlorn sigh,
Remorseful of ego that callously bid goodbye.

Night Sky

tied against the mountain
the blue children play
the upturned apples' cart
scent filled the air
The Wild herons flew southwards
as the crucible sun hit the apex

Crimson skies laced against
the white aconite churchyards
We left, denouncing the first hymn
we heard
surely someone has desecrated the night sky

Premium Member Forgiveness

When angst and hate my rancor stirred
Fuming indignation, reddening my face,
Emotions choked as muscles tightened,
Slurring my speech, abandoning grace;

And rational discourse then disappeared
Vowing vengeance to correct a wrong,
Dissonance hollered, yet no one listened,
Donning grimace that discords prolong.

Denouncing voice of the unjust, unfair,
I brewed in anger, drowning in malaise,
Despising disgust that misdeeds convey
Engrossed in egoistic, despicable ways.

When pettiness of feud conscious decried
Longing for peace soon buried my pride,
Conjuring sensibilities of forgiveness divine,
Rejecting impulses cordiality was denied.

As laments mellowed calming ego’s demands,
Mending misunderstandings sanity won
And dialogue sought armistice of win, win
When penitence rued things said and done.

Embracing silence, we hugged in remorse
Vowing to reconcile that which roiled us;
We understood, accepted, found balance,
Questing for benevolence~ loath to fuss.

Thy Food

Morning you just blush at eye clash
You think about last day's bash

Before another love hangover
Obey what the feelings handover
Do you think I can't cross over
Yet I took after Oliver?

Feast you on me for thy fortitude
Or you won't, more in magnitude
R.I.P, I dedicate to their dire attitude.

Yearn for some more food
Omitting what they feel is good
Unmask covered festive mood

Missed by you is only my past
Yield all the present core and crust

Belittle their acts of doom
Announce your charming Prince to groom
By denouncing rife acts of doom
Erase wishes of occupying in us a room

Light on me
Act for me
Speak for me
Sleep for me!

No Truth In a Lie

There is no truth within a lie,
looking at all the evidence denied,
the rhetoric of first and second amendment rights
seem hypocritical cries, when
those who spout the lie voice no honor or amends
claiming to be the populaces best friend
yet, redacting their very choice
 and suppressing their inner voice.

Democracy may soon be dying
pushed down and buried by all the denying lying
denouncing anyone who fails to go
with the party flow
and like a comedy tv show
they willingly follow the ridiculous and outrageous lies
incapable of ever acknowledging why
America once raised truth, justice and equality cries.

Pep Squad

PEP squad

Hello, let's cheer for the ones to hear
the gladness of our souls
The voices of the ones who speak
surefooted, strong and bold
The PEP Squad shares enlightended ways
together they bring gladder days
But many wish to keep them down
Crowd them with disdain so loud
Owens, west and wiley know and
Tatum, Scott and Owens glow
with light and grace that can't be drowned
by wicked souls and misery frowns.
The PEP squad shines and brings us hope
Denouncing those known misanthropes
This the land of free and of brave
the PEP quad needs spportive way
For though they do not ever cave
this country is slammed with depraved
Let's cheer them on as they speak and try
PEP quad, PEP Squad detoxify
the nation and the world from strife
Caused by those of of malicious life
Many, many more names I know
who are truly PEP but for space I showed
only a few of the proud people to know
that without them we will NEVER grow
to be as we are enshrined to be
with blessings and tranquility

Premium Member Achieving Enlightenment

when your mind is in such a state,
when you can laugh denouncing fate,
nonchalantly in air coin toss,
to take your wins with your bad loss,
when day and night are equal phase,
life can tempt with no further race,
when you see the transience of life,
like a fluttering butterfly,
emotions that you invested,
look a dry farmland, rain divested,
you see truth of the self emerge,
with in eternal wisdom surge,
Then you have reached the pinnacle,
life no longer a debacle,
a peaceful calm rests on your face,
your eyes shine sublime light of grace,
you are no more than anything,
nothing exists no more than you!
no longer a body with name,
eternity and you are same!
you have bridged the wide gap between
all life and death that lay unseen!
you can walk on fire, in rain,
happy and smiling without pain!

The Politics of Coronavirus

The government is not debating,
Internally or understating,
Attacking, flipping the opposition,
Or denouncing the wealth creating.

All parties work together,
To social fairness we toast,
Maintaining the societal blether,
Announcing the financial host.

Few MPs sit in Parliament,
The chamber is internal,
The order is not permanent,
Here, the rules fraternal.

We will all look back,
Upon this treacherous time,
Commend ourselves for yack,
For prohibiting the crime.

Reverse! To the Coronavirus,
Stop somewhere else, not here,
Glide into outer space,
To prohibit any reason for tear.

Broken Fields

Diminished and threatened, is our liberty
A failed design that’s promoting Mutiny
Anarchy is rising,
From dust they are born and into dust they will fall

A Nation in darkness, by symptoms of fear
Eluded by systems, that dictate what appears
Lost in the meaning, of living free
What’s to become? What’s to become of me?

Like broken fields, under the rain
We sprout back to life, we rise from the grave
Unite under standards, to reclaim our dream
A Nation for freedom , this is our chance to see

To resurrect our values, fight for our believes
Cancel out corruption, rediscover honesty
Denouncing their evil, for generations yet to be

The Media controlling, honesty is gone
Brainwashing the public, now reap what you have sown
Education is failing, modern day slaves
The future is nay, this I guarantee

Like broken fields, under the rain
We sprout back to life, we rise from the grave
Unite under standards, to reclaim our dream
A Nation for freedom , this is our chance to see

Time

i repudiate this clock on the wall
each moment frozen of time
lashes back in internal strokes
against my weary soul

its ticking erupts
like thunderous echoes
within the confines
of my tortured mind
on this darkened night

i slip 'neath the shadows of past
running in circles
trying to escape
the grasp of hands
that taunt like death

eternal torture
through infinite seconds
that beat like this heart of mine
as the pace amplifies through mind
bereaves me of the present again
as i face my own fears once more

unkept from another sleepless night
i arise with the same fury as a sun
beneath the bloodied skies
denouncing the storms
as they rage on

Reminiscence

I write for money
You need the stuff
But is not
the only reason people write verse !!!
It is a way to capture one's most
innermost thought and express your pain on paper
If you remember your Beverly Hillbillies
There was an episode with beatniks denouncing money
and the banker went wild!!
I went to the Beat Festival at Town Hall
with the woman I was dating at the time
Sat in the front row
Saw and heard some famous Beat writers
Interesting!!
I will add this final thought
At one time I wanted to be a lawyer
Would have been better off if I stayed home and
re - read Tom Sawyer
