stoic expression
though prickly thorns stabbed her breast
silent suffering

lingering sorrow
memories drift unbidden
closure is denied

Premium Member Stem the Tide

Conquer and divide
Truth is put aside
Freedoms continually denied
Propaganda is how they've always lied
A world through armies forever homicide
The time has now come to stem this evil tide
Spread the word of love that comes from deep inside
Heal the wounds of separation of a gulf that's far and wide
Each individual come together a loving collective we must urgently decide

You denied me?

A whisper soft, a secret shared,
To you, my friend, I truly bared.
My heart, my fears, my hidden dreams,
We shared them all, it truly seems.

But then the words, like shattered seeds,
We're planted where they shouldn't be.
My private pain, a public show,
A whispered laugh, a knowing glow.

I turned to you, with tear-filled eyes,
"Did you betray me with these lies?"
You looked away, a force so cold,
" I didn't say it," you bravely told.

My secret's out, my trust is gone,
Left standing here, completely alone.
The friend I knew, a fading gleam,
A broken promise, a shattered dream.

Until

Us and Them
Them and Us
Good and Evil, until

You aren’t just them
I’m not just us

God’s Chosen, choosing
Who blends, who shows
Who stays, who goes

All God’s Children, except
The ones who aren’t

And those who know, accept, until
You don’t accept, but will
Until

Justice for the oppressed
By the oppressed
For the oppression, because
Online, in person, AI
So much easier, so much harder to
Read the room, when there isn’t a room except

Real-world consequences of online advances
From perceived slights and actual rights
Denied, defied,

Hope denied, fear defied
Truth accepted, hope connected

Justice Denied

Justice — is but a timid Guest —
It knocks — and finding Silence — rests —
The Gavel sleeps — the Jury — folds —
While Truth — in tattered Linen — holds —

Her Testament — too pure — to plead —
She whispers — where the Scales concede —
A Lark — condemned for Morning’s Song —
The Sentence — sweet — yet wholly Wrong —

Innocence — a ghost — too pale —
To rattle Chains — or post her Bail —
She walks — unmarked — by Court or Creed —
Her Trial — is the Dusk — indeed —
And Mercy — holds the missing Key —

Justice denied is justice bred from white lies

Mourning the wicked is something I'll never do
The death of evil will always be long overdue
There is no shame in the joy of a dead threat
If we celebrate, we will not tolerate judgement
You laugh over black death as if it is irrelevant
So why would we care about the death of a white supremacist

All the empathy went to a white man
Did the bank run out for the innocent black man
Or is it just a privilege only whites get
And us black people get left with the debt
They'll label evil as a martyr
As long as its face is the colour of paper

Humanised is the oppressors
Yet the oppressed are labelled the aggressors
Justice favours those with privilege
And the true victims are met with disdain and discrimination
A backwards society -
Where no one cares if you are innocent
If you are a black person

Justice ,denied

With bloody hands, rusty hair and a dammed soul
I walked out ,stepping on the rotten meat
As my lungs struggled to breathe down the fragrance of the crime that I had committed
Blue and white lights flashed my eyes
And a bullet pierced through my cranium
Punishing me for the crimes I had not committed,
My lips have spoken no lies, though my heart is a liar
This land, these stars ,they are my witnesses
My scars give my testimony
I do not claim to be nor am I innocent
But if I am guilty ,I am of my humanity, which for you is an atrocity
I do not care of your judgment, only for nature’s impending monstrosity
They say history repeats itself
It surely dies, when you crown malevolent beast as saviours of humanity….

What Eyes Denied

Eyes closed in protest—
tears blurred the leaving moment
I dared not witness.

Spirit remains young though body ages,
heart harbouring desire for a rebirth,
bringing back next time wisdom of sages,
that blissful and joyful be time on earth,
where presence is always bubbling in mirth.
Refrains replay with memory erased,
with each immersion leaving soul amazed.

Not knowing

Is the seeming

Engine behind

Science and any

Getting ahead..

Yet the engine

And successes

Are appearances of

Not knowing...

Diluted Destiny Denied

plans fall through
surprises around the corner
a random rendezvous
mirage moment mourner

diluted destiny denied
but disappointment dissipates
when you realize—

it's all fate.

expressing a spectrum of light
ushering within bliss delight
instead of letting rapture grow
our lower mind impedes the flow
fragmented thought, not boon but blight

I woke up and forgot my password.
Everything seems back-assword.
It must be somewhere, but mislaid,
among a paper mountain, I'm afraid.
Something's really weird and strange.
Has my brain been rearranged?
As this odd feeling lingers,
I can't even feel my fingers,
and while my digits seem fat and numb,
they won't even oppose my thumb.
My vision's blurry and I feel weak.
When I open up my mouth to speak,
instead of meaningful words,
out flies butterflies and birds.
Even when I try to scream
like a kettle blowing steam,
there is not a single sound -
just a silence that's profound.
The sun looks more green than yellow,
and the ground is made of jello.
I'm not sure who I am.
Can you tell me my name?
I was someone when I went to bed.
Maybe, now I'm somebody else instead.
Am I gone?  Will I be missed?
Or do I not even exist?
I wish I knew where I reside -
once again, "Password Denied".

                     Second Assasination Attempt

In September’s blessed grass, like a slimy snake, you crawled.
To murder a beloved President, your worthless body, sprawled.

The weapon you hugged, just drooling to end an American hero’s life.
Never once thinking, of his accomplished family, nor his beautiful wife.

Coward, wretched, that you be, may you be sent to a lone hanging tree.
Friendless, choking, no remorse, as you swing in the wind deservedly!

Update..the Federal Government continues to refuse to suupply additiona security to President Trump, even though additional threats keep coming in!
NO Presidential candidate should be treated that way..shame, Mayorkas!
Even if you do not like him, to put him in harm’s way, or Kamala’s..is wrong!

morning coffee delayed by an hour
we view as fortunate this earth life test
it lets us check if our mood has gone sour
such are adversities we overcome in light jest
