Closure Denied

stoic expression
though prickly thorns stabbed her breast
silent suffering

lingering sorrow
memories drift unbidden
closure is denied

My sweet Linnersz, Poetry Mama, I am with you during this loss you are handling in such patience and Strength: i feel your sorrow. And when closure is denied, it can be heavy. But know this linnersz (what he used to call you too) that you were the one star that sparkles beams of hope across his skies, for so long! May his soul rest in peace and love, as you immortalise him through your precious poetry. Sending you light always 💫 🌙

My tender hearted friend, your words bring comfort to me today. He was once a very special love in my life that I’d lost physically but regained when he reached out to renew our bond. I will miss his laughter but I know he rests at last in peace. Thank you for understanding my emotions. 🥲🦋❤️

A poignant, restrained senryu—its stoic surface makes the grief beneath feel even sharper. “Memories drift unbidden” is especially moving; some losses never offer the closure we seek.❤️
