I am blessed to still see and hear this adorable cutie pie every day. (The one in my garden who inspired this poem.)
Robin

There's a robin in my garden,
He comes to visit every day;
It's good he doesn't see me,
Because humans chase him away.
I can see that he's still careful,
Even when I'm not out there;
But the delightful daisies entice him,
To swoop and flit and cheer.
There's a robin in my garden,
I love to see him every day;
And I hope that someday soon,
We'll sing together, have fun and play.

(This is a parody of "Frankie and Johnny")
Charlie and Molly were playmates.
Golly, how they could play.
Mornings they'd meet at a corner
to plan how they'd spend summer days.
He was her pal, and she was his gal!
Molly ran down to their corner,
a melody filling her head.
The ice cream man was a-coming.
She searched for her Charlie instead.
He was her pal, and she was his gal.
She asked the ice cream vendor,
"Has my Charlie-boy been by?"
"I seen him with some cutie-pie
back there," was his reply.
He was her chum, but he was a bum!
Molly took off like a rocket,
for she knew who the "cutie-pie" was.
And sure enough she found him.
She lost it right there because
he was her chum, but he was a bum.
There by a scummy ditch
as he kissed her neighbor Grace,
Molly unwrapped her ice cream bar
and smeared it all over his face.
Then she kicked that bum into the scum!
"Pick me up and quick.
Pick me up from this ditch.
Now I've nothing," said Johnny
"when once I was so rich.
I was your pal . . . now I've lost my gal."

Zuggabear
By Michelle Morris

Zuggabear, it's time for bed
You need to rest your weary head
The stars and angels watch over you
To protect and guide your dreams so true
Zuggabear, I'll stay close to you
I'll be there for you, as mama's should
Whether we're here or there, through space and miles
My cutie pie, you're in my mind
Zuggabear, you are so sweet
You're the cutest bear, a real treat
I'll love you forever and all time
Throughout the Universe divine

I don’t think you realize
How much love is in my eyes
To measure it would surely defy
The volume of even the clouds in the sky
Do you know I love you more dearly than blueberry pie
And even some more than freshly salted fries
Do you see it yet
Oh there’s nothing to regret
Keep reading my love till you know all the reps
For my love for you surpasses all that you’d suspect
Even chocolate is less scrumptious
When I think about you pumpkin
I wish I knew enormous words
And every single kind of term
To describe how much I feel for you
And keep our feelings all in tune
And You know ice cream is my favorite dessert
But I’d give it up just to flirt
Can you see now that my love for you
Could even cross the ocean blue
I’m hoping soon that I will spy
A special twinkle in your eye
So look over here one more time
You really are a cutie pie!

My Cutie Pie
My granddaughter is a cutie pie,
Who goes all around the house,
Turning everything upside down,
And keeping us all on our toes.
I do not have half of her energy,
That is displayed the whole day,
The house is silent as she sleeps,
And a time for all to rest a while.
It is breathtaking to watch her
Doing the acrobatics she knows,
Sliding, jumping and climbing up,
Like a monkey on the bunk bed.
No rest whatsoever she takes,
Does things one after the other,
Innocent as she is, trying to do
The impossible, all to by herself.
My days would have been boring,
Were I not to be in her company,
A blessing she's from high above,
And a joy to watch always she is.

OUR LITTLE SHOW BIZ
A Rubik's cube in his hand,
He's the master-in-command,
Posing for a photograph,
He's the one who makes us laugh,
Naughty, charming with a smile,
Cutie pie, he has no guile,
Look at him grinning at us,
Over him, we all make fuss,
This his stage of bite and chew,
All things get, his mouth into,
Jumping, playing like a pro,
Listen to him shout out, whoa!
What a handsome gift he is!
Nesar - our little show biz.

To My Sis..
Every second every moment, I recall you..
Your absence is irreplaceable, just like you..
You may have entered into the another world..
Still our gladness is swayed by you..
You were light, you were a blessing,
You were divine, you were cherubic,
You were so pure, you were an innocent,
You were blossom, you were a naive,
Sometimes quite stubborn, sometimes away mold,
Sometimes angry little one, sometimes the happiest more,
Sometimes a brave protector, sometimes a frightened munchkin,
Sometimes the most obedient, sometimes a little naughty cutie pie..
I search I move, I go here and there,
I wander so, so that I come across someone who looks like you..
You were precious, you were a gem,
You were a mercy, you were an endear friend..
I wait, I wait to find someone in shape of you..
I get so restless for I miss you..
Not by blood, but by heart my dear sister,
My love is selfless and eternal for you..
You'll stay in my heart until I meet you..
To most, he was just a dog but,
to her he was a, “foxy-boy”.
Sure enough, he possessed the
countenance a large fox;
all decked out in silver and white fur.
Oh, he knew he was the light of her life;
she’d hold his paw in her hand and tell him
what a “cutie-pie” he was, so “foxy”
and he loved it; you could tell he was
blushing beneath that fur,
as he’d turn his head downwards,
as if to say, “aw...shucks” Mom.
It wasn’t her looks
which made her so unappealing
No, ma’am ...
that girl is a certified cutie pie
It wasn’t her demure charm
that caused man-child rebel teens
to sissy shy away
No, sir ... that young, yet-to-be
buxom woman,
cocooned in a size 5 butterfly body,
is so Spanish Harlem Rose beautiful ...
Eyes don’t lie, so says
this fanboy fella: Ah- ooh ah
She’s gonna honey bee
a statuesque,
regal queen Latifah
According to my secret admirer,
local enquirer text send ...
why
is she so unpopular then?
Perhaps, it’s because
she refuse to let herself be deflowered
and degraded,
by silly boyz-to-men
That’s the type of Zulu woman,
me low-popularity humble soul want
as my better-half best friend
Soul sits on a dream
Ponders on wonder;
Time slips away

Cheery bubbly child,
Umpteen smiles now greet;
Touch of glee worthwhile,
Impish joy I meet,
Echo wild touch here.
Poignant fancy calls,
Innocence fits cheer,
Etch where footsteps fall.
Style frolic and play,
Mind and heart set free;
Indulge carefree sway,
Love laughs most easy;
Explore fun galore,
Sum spontaneous shores.

My Grammy, smiling so whole
Creates the best pecan pies
A treat I cannot control,
When she plans a big surprise.
Those wrinkled, age-old fingers
Blend honey and nuts on trays
I wonder what secrets lie there,
As add-ons pile a display.
In the oven, goodies heat
Utopia in the making
Even young Sis tries to cheat
Moving the timer," Oh ring!"
On the table, sweet wafts hum
Grammy blinks, " Let's dine";
Buttery flavor; yum yum
Teeth sink portions all divine!
Pasty cheeks lined with syrup
All's finished I can't deny
Wanting more ; Gram hears my burp
"Left some for my Cutie Pie!"

Jack Ellison's a cutie pie, his words are yummy sweet
Each time I read a lovely rhyme, I get a tasty treat
Pie poems for my every mood, I just can’t get enough
Cherry, lemon, and berries too, all really scrumptious stuff
Jack Ellison's a lovely friend, he sweetens up my life
If he comes a visitin’, I’ll bake pies for him and wife
I make lovely crumb apple pie, with ice cream it’s divine
I’d sure pamper Jester Jack and Cute Cathie up just fine
So here I’ll end my silly rhyme by saying this…no lie
I love to eat his words all up, I love them MORE than pie!

LOVE AND YOU
I don’t know exactly from
when
I became your perfect ten
I was your best friend
On you, I was totally depend
You save my life
Which was losting in the dark
of
wildlife
When all things I pretend
You chanced me of being your
boyfriend
As only because I was
descend
Now am loving you from my
heart
We can enjoy the whole life
on a
beautiful cart
But why this time you are
forcing
me to shower
From my tear
You know how much pain I’d
bear
Cutie Pie! I have a fear
That you’ll leave me alone
next
year
We can be a perfect pair,
I swear
The whole life we can share
Without any fear
Please never cheat
Otherwise my heart will
refuses
to beat.
Today I would be sad
But only coz of you, am glad
In your love am totally mad
It’s you, what today I’d
I promise
I’ll never make you sad.
