With cotton candy
Pink and dandy,
Funnel cakes, sweet
All you can eat

A Ferris wheel
To make you squeal,
The carousel
Sure looks swell

Toss a ring
To win something,
Pop a balloon
You'll get it soon

Try to get that prize
Go for the biggest size,
Win a pet if you wish
Take home a goldfish

Stay there all night
For every sound and sight,
Like a kid again, be
So much to do and see

Show off what you do
Win a ribbon, blue,
Shower what you raise
With the highest praise

Craft and quilt
By hands built,
Goodness canned
Grown on the land

Pumpkins and pies
To delight the eyes,
Each cow and pig
The biggest of the big

Farmer's best on display
Sat in a pile of hay,
Take in the dairy air
At the county fair!

Premium Member Cotton Candy Grapes

It will remind you of alchemy
how taste and image don’t align;
Lypophrenia hits you,
best friends the county fair;
Memories play back
while snacking on
those cotton
candy
grapes.

Cotton candy, so fluffy and soft
Sugar that floats, sticking on throat
Color that bloats, sailing like boat
My sweet hands, grubby like groft

Premium Member Cotton Candy Kiss

How about a cotton candy kiss,
right across these little lips?
Our bodies might mesh
in an orbital bliss,
like the sun and the moon during lunar eclipse.

Cotton Candy Skies

Cotton candy skies
Birds dancing as they fly
With the mountains behind
O what a sight to see with my very eyes

Cotton Candy

I am always glad
Cotton Candy in my hand
Wonderful memories at the zoo
Eating Cotton Candy both pink and blue

I always like to watch it spin
In the big tin bin
Building larger on the stick
Can’t wait to get a lick

It is always so sticky
Leaving my fingers all icky
Even though I feel sick
I need to have another lick

I was always taught to share
To show my brother I care
His face breaks into a big smile
Which lasted for awhile

Cotton Candy Dreams

With every drop of lemonade that walks me to the park
I’m filled of cotton candy dreams which guide my easy gait

The cardinals’ call of dawning bliss , no longer in the dark
Arrives to serenade my dreams and I can hardly wait

Today, another day to live, another day to taste
I find I am a happy soul if I just let it be

With all my cotton candy dreams, I promise not to waste
Horizons are now limitless for all that I can see

It’s then, I stop to look around in hues of blue and pink
A soft and fluffy wonderland is there to bring to fore

My feet are lifted by the breeze and this is what I think
With not a drop of rain in sight who then could ask for more

……COTTON CANDY SKIES……

                pink, strawberry ones
                reflecting sunlight are the best
                reaching one……hardest

Joy is a taste that melts in my mouth
That taste so good I want to shout
It's so soft and colorfully bleeds
Sweet sugary stuff upon my teeth

Matters not how young you are
This candy cloud will win your heart
Even if you are toothless or have all your teeth
You will enjoy cotton candy.

Premium Member Cotton Candy Clouds

moving clouds, puffy
gold rose dawn fills waking skies
summer's honeyed days

as heat gains its peak
gilt clouds, noon butterscotch sky
lemon meringue pie

chocolate sunset
cocoa with soft marshmallows
so frothy and light

morning, noon and night
fluffy clouds slowly drift by
colorful summer

Cotton Candy Couplets
Miracle Man
1/14/2022

Back in the day when suckers cost a penny,
money was scarce and this kid hadn’t any.

But “scrapping bolls” one fall, the job I found,
and shortly after dawn, to the fields I was bound.

Three “tow sacks” sewed together held my glean,
all we could afford for a kid nearing thirteen.

A penny a pound is what pulling usually paid,
long days in the sun, wiping sweat, with no shade.

Cotton was hauled, team and wagon, and truckers,
and what little I made went mostly for suckers.

Premium Member Cotton Candy and Other Things

Cotton candy and other things make me happy
Like a tiny kitten playing with a ball of string
A small child discovering something for the first time
The end of a story bringing tears to my eyes
Things now remembered that once brought sighs
The satisfaction of finding the perfect rhyme
Looking for a gift, finding just the right thing
Trying to be sentimental without being sappy

Cotton Candy of the Sky

There where my heart resides
Where blue and pink combined
To see the beauty of God mind
Bless are the mountain tops
Who may have heard a lot
The violet hue
Within our view
Whispers from the wood
To hear as we should
Look upon the ocean
Our beauty is open
Sun beaming all around
Wind of thoughts may surround
Nature song is within our ears
Far and near
Only joy shall live here
His truth shall never depart
Through the centre of our hearts
Blessings entered our life
By the hand of Christ
Peace and solitude
Shall never be removed
Sense of belonging
As we heared God calling
The heart that fights
Jesus has made right
Took the path less traveled
We have reached the love of his castle
God love shall assemble
Through the hearts of the humble
