Premium MemberHeart Felt Desires

Hopes, fears, dreams, hurts, and desires
Are all felt in heartfelt fires;
The dreams of tomorrow, the happiness, the sorrows
The fear of loving, the fear of living day to day
All are feelings, felt by all.
Touching you, feeling you, and having the need, to hold on forever
Loving, doubting, and fearing, the process are potent combinations for disaster;
Want to throw out the hurts, want to toss away the fear-
Want to embrace the remaining years with arms stretched wide open.
Embracing life, love, and all the fears
Throw caution to the wind- and began to live- for today-
But, for one to put away the sorrows of tomorrow, to enjoy what comes with heartfelt fires-
One will need to cope with these - heartfelt desires -

Premium MemberOnce A Girl

Once a girl, feeling too much.
Barely able to cope with her anxiety.
The unending feeling of disaster haunting her waking moments, setting the mood for the day.
Unable to stand the constant fright.
A pill to dull the fear and unending doom.
But she changed, learning and becoming stronger.
No longer needing something to dull the thoughts, she is strong enough to try again.
Emotions rushing in like water rushing over a broken dam.
Who is this girl so different from years of numbness?
Is this the girl who she had once been?
Feisty, headstrong, organized, with the attention span of a squirrel, and sensitive?
Words seem to fail me when I try to explain how I feel.
The feeling of being so close to my natural personality.
The feeling of having emotions and not being numb.
Now a girl learning herself again.

The journey within

The most beautiful things in life cannot
be seen or touched, but can be felt by the heart.
— HELEN KELLER
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It was just a slight sight of your beauty,
that spurred my heart to start to race.
Lust and love swam side by side in my veins—
some bound to haem, some dance to hymns.

  The choice of dominance–no longer mine;
      lechery, at times, sailed faster,
leaving love to gasp in breathless pretense.
Other times, love was the master.

In my brain they took to serious fight,
Both injured but neither took to flight,
My brain was concussed by their fright,
    And confusion replaced their freight.

They both ran to my soul that they had stolen,
There, they tortured me with their fangs,
Their greed my spirit could no more cope with,
But they stayed on in defiance.

Their journey within me became endless,
Yet far from my heart your love stayed,
Come closer to free me of their torture,
Otherwise, my brain will soon explode.

Premium MemberToilet Terror of Torbay - poop poem warning!

A student who hailed from Bombay
Eats curry for breakfast each day
On pakora he’d munch
As a snack or for lunch
The toilet is where he must stay

He suffers from dire 'Dheli belly'
Shared bathroom got terribly smelly
So he leased a commode
Where he’ll unleash his load
No studies, he poops watching telly!

His flatmate said, “Listen up Josh”
Your ling’ring stench means I can’t wash
Living with you is hell
I can’t cope with the smell
Flat sharing, I’m just gonna quash!

For you

Father I am always
Praying for you
Every single night
I never miss a night
That I just don't pray
For you my Father
And in my prayer
I ask you to remove
The stress
That I am having
Every single day
Father I just have a hard time
Coping with my stress
Father
Can you teach me
How to cope with my stress
Because I would love
To be able to cope
With my stress

Fire

I am a wildfire,
burning alone in the middle of nowhere
I wish I were a meadow
in the middle of somewhere enchanted.

my devotion
was the ocean’s depth
never-ending,
hard to reach,
but not impossible.

I could devour
with love,
with care,
with happiness—
yet some found me unlovable,
hard to cope with,
hard to give up something for.

still,
I held on
to that gust of wind,
my flickering hope
to find someone
worth loving,
worth giving up for,

my resilience—
like tree roots,
buried deep,
hard and unbrittle
standing again,
again
after every heartpain.

I search still,
for warmth,
for a blanket of love
I once dreamed of...

Premium MemberMaddening minds

So the song thrush sings his tunes to the darkening sky.
Is it to give thanks to some bird god or just for you and I?

As we watch the evening’s dying light and say goodbye to another day lost in time.
We sleep to give rest to our maddening minds. Then wake to insanely rush through the precious time of daylight.
Planning for this and planning for that. Dreaming about this and dreaming about that.

Silently killing us all our lives. It plays the echoes of our broken promises in our lies. We can hear time slipping when we close our eyes. Gravity eats our youth and gets hungrier as time passes by.

Solace is taken by wiser minds. Now we can’t anymore reach, leap and run through the darkest nights! The wind sounds the same and the sun is just as bright when our bodies can’t cope with the stress of living in these modern times.

Escape to find some peace in the evening light. With glass of water or your favourite wine, sit and close your eyes to listen to the thrush sing for you tonight.

Premium MemberDon't Follow Me

Through the lens of laughter
I cope with endless clatter

The noise never fades away
Heavy rests the crown each day

I crumble inside they can’t see
Struggles I hide so silently

The days are cold long and grey
My fogginess will lead them astray

Seek your guidance elsewhere
You risk falling into despair

You follow blindly unaware
Directing you wrong I can’t bear

Find another guide to lead
I no longer have what you need

I laugh to mask the pain I feel
My guidance would not be real

you people

“Blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb”
something that I will tell my future daughter
family is good
but friends choose you
your family has to stick around
your friends choose to
when everything goes to hell,
your friends are the ones who cope with losing you
when all else fails,
your friends are the ones who stood by you
your family might be one in the same blood
but your friends know your stories,
your friends know your soul,
they are the ones who will never go.

All That I Am

Some folks think of themselves as humans searching for a spiritual awakening when the fact is that you are a spiritual being, attempting to cope with a human awakening.
Seeing oneself from a perspective of the spirit within will help you remember why and what you came here to begin creating.
In a higher dimension, there exists no time, nor darkness, nothing is physical or corporeal, and those that reside there are entities of light.
In reality, there is no time but only a construct of human measurement, known as clocks separating day from night.
Realms of higher frequency, greater sensitivity, and a density of colors unseen by humans are all around us.
Understanding that you are much more than you see in the mirror is the beginning of self-trust.

Premium MemberDumping Ground

Bringing your troubles; like I was your dumping ground
Walked away with my life without as much as an amen
No words spoken, until my happiness drowned
Shadows diminishing, never to be seen again

But I am now seeing through your corrupted soul
As you now dance and skip along with my life
It was your master plan, your only goal
Leaving me with your ill gained strife

So funny, you turning a blind eye when told
Giving your lame excuses as to the why
But I was never left blind to your bold
Your laughter as you left me high and dry

You are forgiven, but never are you as forgot
As I’m now made to live your sorry sad life
I wish you well with my life that you have now got
Except all of my curses, and along with it all of my strife

Because for you in my life there is no coming back
So, go out, and enjoy my life whilst you can
As I now cope with everything that you so lacked
Wasting my time on everything you could not understand

Quero viver a vida

Quero viver a vida
That my father gave
To me
I will not
Waste my life
Sleeping in
During the morning
Because if I do that
I won't sleep
At night
So I must stay wake
During the day
It is hard to stay awake
During the day
Because today I am very tired
And I can't hard keep my eyes open
It must be weather
That is making me so tire
Yes the sky is grey
And the horrible winter is back
I can't stand that at all
I must say it is hard for me
To cope with the winter
It is going to be a long winter
And I am not crazy about the Winter
The snow will come
In January
I live in my nursing home
Thanks God I don't have to shovel the snow

A BIT LATE

Twas the night before Christmas, Santa in panic.
Each year Christmas Eve became more and more manic.
The world’s population was growing and growing
And, with climate change, it never stopped snowing

The old sleigh had certainly seen better days.
It barely could cope with how much Santa weighed.
And Santa himself was well past retirement;
The reindeer no longer up to requirement.

Poor Rudolph, whose nose used to shine brightly red,
Had strapped on an LED head torch instead.
The rest of the team, once willing and able,
Had hardly the strength to exit their stable.

So Santa, whose nature was not to be cruel,
Decided to change to alternative fuel.
Battery powered from nation to nation,
He was flying from charging station to station.

So, though Santa tried as hard as he could,
He was a bit late, even if you’d been good.
And, for children who lived a long way away,
They had to be patient until Boxing Day.
