Conversations of Consolation

Debt has shaped most of my sorry life
Shaving it off year by year
Thanks to my devoted wife
She is a gem in her own right
No more tears of shame
My frame of mind feels just right
I smile these days
You can just feel that inner peace
Once I was in a situation of helplessness
Sleight of hand and a twist of fate
With my ex it felt like
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
The kind of man I was
I waited
Trying to convince myself to endure
My hands are tied
My body bruised, she got me with
Nothing to win and nothing left lose
I tried to end it all
I took sleeping pills
Tried to give myself away
Those were dark times
I was a car wreck lying upside down
It took some soul searching
But a wise person said
‘change your world’
I vamoosed the chance I got
Literally I went away
Only with the clothes on my back
What a relief
It cost me relations with my kids
Hell they might feel that I abandon them
I will cross that bridge when I get there
Late uncle Stan
Already called me out on it
Nothing witty to say back
Already to far gone
Careful of who you give yourself away to…

¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ my darling,
Into the hidden,
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ I
Am wonder-ridden.

¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ the shadows tell
Me things, and silences toss
Me their drift.

You sent me ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ fire
Out of death, and it burns in the draught
Of the breathing ¦¦¦¦¦¦
Kindles the darkening pyre
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ sorrowful, ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦

Form after form, in the streets
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
Kindled to me;
The star above the house-top greets
Me every eve with a long
Song fierily.

¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ the town
Glimmers with subtle ghosts
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦

¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ bereaved of you,
My little love.
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ but the dream shows through
As they move.

(Blackout of The Inheritance by D. H. Lawrence)

Yet, Not Yet

Yet, Not Yet

No fruit out of season—
Just that it was no season.

Taste the winter red
And the summer gray.

Am I out of season?
Or is it yet the season?

Is there a season?
And yet, I am, today.

the consolation

The consolation

It is fascinating to think
one day we will be dead
not know we ever lived
Years will pass in wars
and struggles for peace
meaningless contracts
signed by the powerful
We'll not know of spring
flowers and romance
But the consolation is
We shall not know that
We ever lived

To penetrate the fresh bloom of a flower,
is a rare joy, a kind of love felt deeply,
when virgins struggle, full of desire's power,
then collapse in warm, sensual link so sweetly.

With one, I have not known such love before;
not in a touch, but found in books and lines,
a joy that I love, rapturously explore,
and whose sung beauty lyrically shines.

Although I'll never know the former love
     aforementioned, the Muse's consolation
is my reward: chaste, and pure as a dove,
she uplifts me to peaks of inspiration!

If love must be to love a woman only,
then the Muse's bloom keeps me from being lonely.

calm after storm, XXV

pulse on the roots of my hair
spread on the bed

i ripped off my sheets to find consolation
my fingers bled

searched every corner for a crumb of freedom
the city stayed

saw the blinds shaken from the storm
my future is dead.

He’d love her forever, he’d said.
She’d married his best friend instead.
Ten long years have passed since that day
When his ex-friend stole her away.
So long ago it was, and yet
No way could he ever forget.
She never knew how he missed her.
He went and married her sister.

Mystery of consolation

 Death,
 is not a human invention...

 we do not create it,
 but we experience it,
 living it ... !

    Death is physical,
     it is bio-chemical,
  being a perfect reaction,
      but incomplete...

     because of this,
   it does not reach us!

   It takes the body
    But the spirit
      remains ...

Premium Member Animating innate vibrance

When we find our morale at rock bottom,
It appears the earth has come to a standstill!
Finding ourselves amidst darkness all around,
We are in a dungeon with no escape, we feel!
Unmindful of our innate abilities, at times we forget
To bounce back, like a ball hit against a wall!
Seeds sprout piercing the upper layers of the earth,
Sensing the touch of raindrops from clouds so dark!
A word of consolation is enough for a soul
That has fallen down, to rise up like a spring!
Things that appear dormant in nature for the time being,
Can erupt like volcanoes unwarranted any time,
Animating their innate vibrance to everyone's surprise!

Consolation

Life so dull and dry
The fear seems to bring us down
You dazzled my eyes.

L'Unica Consolazione-The Only Consolation

Se fosse tutto vero e fosse solo sincerita',
mi aspetteresti, non saresti sopraffata dalla trauma
e mettere in scena il tuo dramma teatrale:
che peccato e' vedere una stella esplodere su di me!

If all were true and it were only sincerity,
you would wait for me and not let trauma
overwhelm you and act out your theatrical drama;
it's such a pity to watch a star explode on me!

Tutti siamo all' estremo della nostra abitudine...
vera o immaginaria: chi puo' mai sfuggire
al destino? La sola consolazione e' di restare
vicino, senza arrabiarsi e gridare parole vane!

We all reach the end of our painful extremes,
whatever they are real or founded on imagination:
who can escape fate? The only consolation
is to stay closer without shouting vain words!

L'unica consolazione e' la sacra fiducia,
la solenne promessa che restera' intatta
e ci rafforzera' nei giorni piu' difficili;
si, crederemo nei momenti piu' felici!

The only consolation is the sacred trust,
the solemn promise that will remain intact...
it'll strengthen us in the toughest times;
yes, we'll believe in the happiest moments!

Bitter Consolation

Always have in mind...
even if I don't love you much
I will never love you less !

Comforting Some Broken - Hearted People

When it is time for their consolation
I always stand confidently with devotion
While sharing message of comfort
with songs of glorification.
Then I let them to take  good decision
In their lives which will please
the  Master of creation.
God of gods and King of kings
 Who is above all creatures:
- People  and animals in the World
- Angels of God in the heavens and
Angels of darkness in hell on chains.
Let us continue being so kind
To some people who live with chronic pains
Due to some circumstances
In their lives.

Premium Member Consolation In Familiarity

Through warm and cold front sensations,
We've weathered many storms.
But the cessation of the sole connection
Left us bleak, laden with human forms.

The reverberating of chimes is so loud,
Reminds us of what we once had.
But now that we're lost in a sea of doubt,
I wondered if it was all just a fad.

We used to share everything.
Our thoughts, our dreams, and our fears
But now that we're too busy even text-messaging.
Our relationship was reduced to mere cheers.

But still, there's hope in our heart's wand.
One day we'll reunite.
And once again, we'll forge a bond.
That will shine brighter than any light.

Nothing can break the bond we share.
It's too strong to ever fade.
And though we may drift apart to be aware,
Our love for each other will never be betrayed.
