Earth Star Chakra

earth star chakra my killick, subliminal subpersonal connects me to core of planet’s centre, spinning yet rooted in quiet mirth
absorbing misaligned energy in sturdy girth
intuits heartfelt frequency exchanges
across planetary consciousness gauges
below Gaia’s benign surfaces it modulates
where own wisdomed faith undulates
steady Will humming stable solid secure
no other anchor would I endure

awareness finely tuned filamented fibres
reaches far flung corners shadowed or
light, without single flinch fight or flight
authority with divine responsibility dear
centring my substance as an emperor does
holding disciplined foresight unseen safe
signals settled velocities where I am to walk
intentions sure of next waiting chorded port
underground star exuding strength, cohort
of ages, missioning goals it never aborts

Premium MemberGreat and Rugged Pyrenees

Great and Rugged Pyrenees
   Whose solid presence demands
Notice of lush valleys
And Spanish oaks that dot the glens -

Prevailing winds churn in wrath -
   I stop to breathe in them;
You cut the horizon in half
And grip my eye with icy hands.

Your cohort - a mix of clouds -
   Can't forever hide your majesty.
Seville looks on from the south;
   Andorra claims the victory.

Premium Memberwhat botox can't fix

A boob who was rather naggy
Said to its mate we're too saggy
Without more support
I'm afraid dear cohort
We're nuts in pants that look baggy

   I proudly represent my cohort
now that I'm aging in place

The gray matter that makes up my brain
matches the gray flecks on my face

Premium Membervicarious gladiator syndrome

The primeval feelings they court
Are thrills from kills as a cohort
The owners are betting
That this bloodletting
Attracts all to football as sport

Author's note: A celebrity commenter attributed the NFL's recent very high ratings and financial success to everything except the appeal of a violent game. The Romans exploited this emotion long ago at the Colosseum. If I watch a game, I find myself having these feelings, which I do not like. Solution: turn it off and peace out. Am I the only one?

Tumbled stones

She uses her self to inspire.
Often times it leads to
people creating feelings for her.
She looks to those who are
overly arrogant and pompous
to guide her through letting people down.
She had been said to her cohort
" is he cute enough to
be thin: cause I don't like know fat man!"
well this ser well with some of
those assocated with her business: so
they got together to hire
a trio of triplettes who
were all different sizes
to fool her into thinking she
was overly effective. A national
television proucer
desided to follow this skit thinking
it would be wise
to record the fallout
to see if an audeince saw
this to be worthy
of viewership. They desided to script the happenings
one date would explore Freno's underground garden's in Californian.
The other would "Be were Rubeun Ruby mined".
The last date would be in "the Resturants of Sacremento".
Just another Rainbowstrangers stop giving me adive.
Yes and beaautiful things, the prettiest seemed so right!
Best by morning, a soothing remind.
wine ages forever, the best things grow with time!

Premium MemberDevil Dog

She rolls her eyes
and the Devil Dog
knows a subordinate
a savory dish
for her eyes
they deviate

Jackals are gathered
to howl at Sirius
like satellites
they are called up
below it
under its occult rising

The cohort is hoisted
the dole is allocated
immaculate coercion
a spree of offerings
and favors are granted
torches are lit for burning

The ascendent is gifted
the starlet branded
abiding attendants are delighted
under her heliacal rising
Canicula is blazing.

Vagabond Bears

Of the polar sort, I am a vagabond bear
Find me due north in the cold arctic air
A lone, tusked walrus is my only cohort
I am a vagabond bear, of the polar sort

Of the grizzly kind, I am a vagabond bear
Moving from one to the next hidden lair
Wander through forest with no place in mind
I am a vagabond bear, of the grizzly kind

Of the panda variety, I am a vagabond bear
In my travels, I can find bamboo anywhere
Playful when I want as is my propriety
I am a vagabond bear, of the panda variety

Of a wishful crew, I am a vagabond bear
A human tired of humans, who really don’t care
I want to stay lost and be someone no one knew
I am a vagabond bear, of a wishful crew

Premium MemberTarnished Heros

That bright young President shot down in Dallas
who turned out to be an addict and philanderer.

And don’t get me started on our most
recent former President and his insurrection.

That hundred-meter sprinter who held an Olympic
Record overnight until his urine tested positive.

That cohort of steroid taking home run hitters who
demolished Maris’ record and now in the Hall of Infamy.

That Bills back who still holds rushing records but
might well have got off Scot-free with murder.

That person you though you would become
who became the person you are.

Creamsicle Cat

...Creamsicle Cat...
Orange and white
Crossing my path
Silent as night
...Creamsicle cat...
Steathy and slight
Smooth as butter
Quiet as light
...Creamsicle Cat...
Whiskers atwitch
Eyes naught but slits
Cohort of witch?
...Creamsicle Cat...
Tail low and still
Paw raised and tense
As only cats will
...Creamsicle Cat...
Of Icy demeanor
Not slim...Nor fat
but lithe and leaner
...Creamsicle Cat...
Here and then not
Where is he at?
Gone from that spot!
...Creamsicle Cat...
Fickle as mist
Where is he at?
And will he be missed?
...Creamsicle Cat...
Puzzling fellow
Enigmatic creature
Of white and yellow
Crossing my path
...in dead of night...

Premium MemberLetter From Aunt Mabel

A letter arrived from Aunt Mabel, always a keeper
She was delighted I bought myself a Bissell sweeper
Said they are best, but I could have gotten it cheaper,
Seems her nephew is in more trouble, getting deeper
I suspect he was caught smoking or selling a reefer,
Auntie says her bloat is causing her to have a fever
She needs a full physical before prices get steeper!
Big news! Auntie said she was dating a Bob Kneiper
At her age, I was shocked, but won’t ask the “bleeper”
He’s older, she said, expecting soon the grim reaper!
I chuckled when she said she had a window peeper
I’ll tell her she needs to report this ornery creeper.

I’ll answer her when I have some news to report
I think I’ll suggest coming over to serve as her escort
Maybe keep an eye out for that Peeping Tom cohort
I do not consider window peeping a spectator sport!
Aunt Mable will probably laugh out loud and snort
I’m sure her nephew will be asking her for support
She’ll remember what I told her last time to retort,
He’s got to stop the doping and with no dopers consort!

However, there are impediments
This scavenging for deeds of strength
hung shrubs
These appear to be bone fragments
poised to catch fire at any time

I'm having difficulty explaining why I'm realigning. utterances directed at ourselves.

Blood As Thin As Water

Animal on the outside.
Slay away all the bad times.
Get down and say your goodbyes.
Pick up all my insides.

You say I have to break bread forever.
I'd rather drink blood as thin as water.
I'd rather you didn't lead me to slaughter.
You say if I don't do this I'll die a martyr.

Demon in my fantasy.
Shy away my apathy.
Hallucinate with dreams of ecstasy.
Choke and kill my empathy.

Drowning in pure raw emotion.
Breathing in hot water vapor.
Drinking from this sulfuric potion.
An opportunity once left to savor.
Candles lit to bring forth comfort.
The mood is set to change.
Wait until I see my cohort.
The moment seems kinda strange.
Creatures chasing after me.
Stabbing me in my sleep.
Awaken from this eternal slumber.
Finding out I'm the monster.
Creeping at a low speed.
Waiting for my chance.
You won't get away this time.
You don't know my plans.
