Premium Member Locked down justice

Nothing good ever came out of hell
we all can see the enemy works on people's fear
The fruits of disaster has been sewn into those consenting
freedom has the choice to move without restraints attached
removal of these rights has turned the system of law upside down
passing laws that amount to curfew status in a time of war
dictators that close down all opposition and homegrown truths
The twisted tongues of oppression manipulate words forked
a new breed of public figures emerge justifying murder
control the masses and you have an army defending the deceiver

Premium Member Incompetent Incumbent

Porous border
100 thousand Americans dead
Fentanyl poisoned.
Courtesy of China, the cartels and little Joe Biden.
Sex trafficking and dirty coyotes.
Biological weapons
wet market alibi
gain of function.
Decriminalize drugs.
Close down insane asylums.
No bail for violent fellows.
Sweep God under the rug.
Leaning toward Energy dependency.
To beg oil from our sworn enemies.
War for profit.
The red panda is chewing up our farmland.
War for prophet.
Can't wait to see what's next?

I Gotta Laugh So I Don'T Cry

I am watching the comedy channel;
I have had it on all day.
Watching Chaplin and Keaton
And Laurel and Hardy at play.
I laugh out loud at their antics,
Though I’ve seen then all before.
We used to laugh together
But you are not here any more.
Soon they will close down for the night,
Another night without you there.
And that’s when my tears of laughter
Will turn to tears of despair

But maybe you should…..
I feel myself close down.
I despise advice.
I give her some suggestions.
Hope to annoy her
I can be a hypocrite
But not every day surely

Premium Member I Close Down For Self Protection

Bistro blowhards jump around in Johnny time
Bota bing bota bang Bota bang bota bing.
Dendrites are clicking, where did they get teeth?
Who invited them anyway? Gray matter coughs.

Fishnet stockings fairly frolic along my brain highway.
My soul shuts herself off, not wanting involvement.
I am on pizazz power; polka dotted persimmon pot pie.
No one better ask me anything or even give me a look.

What’s happening? My eyes wonder. They are on fire.
My throat is tight, wearing a girdle of ridiculousness.
I keep my mouth in a straight line, figuring out nothing.
Sharing no secrets or ideas, closing down for self-protection.

***
I’ve been waiting so long
For these doors to open.
Beautiful night .
Reality, but
Dream in a dream as well.

Moon is close, down,
Can touch it
As did Krishna.

I’m swimming by walking,
Walking by the houses
Which are flying away.

All because
You want to believe someone ,
But you don’t .
And you keep whispering about it
in my ear, again and again.

The Last Cowboy

A nightmare
 after something I'd had,
a cowboy film,
 the late-night news
 and Cervantes at bedtime.

On a spavined jade
the last of all the cowboys
with lean shanks
astride gaunt flanks
rides down
to Death Valley.

The last of all the cowboys
has soon put paid
to enemy tanks
along Stygian banks
way down
Death Valley.

Ever onward they wade.
to the cowboy's last tune,
some joining the ranks,
some jumping off planks
Close-down, lockdown
at the last rally
in Death Valley.

I hope all this
 was just a nightmare.
Thinking otherwise
I do not dare.

Premium Member Making Mask, Instead

On the flower petals of the blooming faces,
flutter the patina of chromatic luscious lips,
gracefully painted with alluring shades of lipstick,
the attraction amplified by the dazzling smile.

In the women’s winsome world of enticement
many things stay tediously the same unalterable,
but the colors of the lips is an option of change,
they all strive to try in various charming hues.

Realizing it’s a large fashion market worldwide,
I set up a modest factory rolling out array of lipsticks,
not competing with the products of L’Oreal or the like,
my business started booming, soaring to new heights.

But then comes the virulent corona virus from the blue,
making lipsticks for the masked lips rather redundant.
No takers, I have to close down my factory where now
I am making mask to survive in these difficult times.

Premium Member If I Do Not Wake Up Tomorrow

If I do not wake up tomorrow my school will not close down
My replacement will be hired within a month.

If I do not wake up tomorrow someone else will drive my car
I like to think my car will care but I doubt she will.

If I do not wake up tomorrow will vultures start dividing my junk?
If so, I hope I will get to watch and laugh.

Competing Spirits

Competing spirits move about
seeking a patron, loyal scout,
trailing branches down wooded road
with blessed prod or cursed goad.

Tempting teens on a risky route
competing spirits move about.
Looking, lead in a lustful way
mean spirits look for waves to sway.

Guarding with a license divine
safe spirits shield a tender vine.
Competingspirits move about
guiding, girding the naïve sprout.

Until the forests all close down
two warring natures will abound.
Sheer zeal keeps each from bowing out,
competing spirits move about.

Premium Member Don'T Be a Buzz Kill

The night is not young. Soon bars will close down.
You'll pay up your tab or pay for a round.

Did you get any numbers to put in your phone?
Are you leaving with someone or leaving alone?

I hope you have mingled the time you were here,
or did you just sit crying into your beer?

You have no excuses. You're not the only
person with hardships or thinking you're lonely.

Before they begin making last calls tonight,
don't be a buzz kill. Go do something right.

See folks all around you in this crowded bar.
You think there is no one as sad as you are?

Get up off that bar stool for a night you'll not rue.
Last call for lonely hearts. What will you do?

clean as you go.
go you as clean.
c.......a....y.....g
g.....y.......a.....c
naelc..sa...uoy..og
og...uoy...sa...naelc

the pots the pans
your dirty hands
clean the counter
and the floor
wait for supper
clean each area as a chore.
clean your face,
wipe your nose
clean your hands before
 and after you go.
clean the sink
so it won't stink.
sweep and mop the floor.
wipe the walls, and change
your drawers.
be mindful of grease on the ceiling
and the floor.
close down to clean
that is keen
and smart if you know
whats going on.
bacteria grows
and I suppose
you should have learned
 such as a chore.

Premium Member Fishin Spot

went for morning drive just the other day
found a new fishing spot close down the way
but can't tell which way is what sorry 'bout that
there's a rapids in a stream and a falls then a lake
if that don't wake you up the big fish you will forsake
haven't tried my luck there as yet but things look good

Just Thoughts

I think about why I think of you all the time
I feel you while I breath, is that a crime?
So let me take this time to explain
All the things I feel about you time and again!!

I have this urge, this feel, these thoughts
To just sit so close and feel your warmth
To run my hands on yours, get a strong grip
I feel our hearts beat in sync without a slip

I want to turn to you and see you look at me
And when our eyes meet, hold on for sometime please
That look will assure your love and mine,
Oh what more could I ask than just for that to remain!!

Sometimes just the look and sometimes your touch
To fill me full, there's nothing more than such
And when the time comes, just you and me alone
I'd like to create moments that you have never known..

I'd like to lay down and hear your heart beat
Own your body on me and kiss your feet
Trouble you, bite you and mess around
Until I see you all worked up, I won't let you close down

Recycling Takes Energy

Recycling uses more energy,
Re-using and sharing makes humans more zippy
Without the need for a battery.

Recycling alone will not slow down the production line,
And will not close down even one mine,
Unless our politicians start to fine.

Sharing and re-using need more zing,
Than a piece of string,
For a lower temperature to be the new thing.

The answer should be simple,
If addiction was not fed by some people,
Who worship at the wrong temple.
