Refugees From Blue States, Part I

They say New York and California
are going through an exodus,
fleeing jobs, increasing taxes,
they loose more and more people's trust.
And given what a mess they are,
I can't blame those who want to escape,
but there are things you should leave behind
if you're fleeing from a blue state.

For example: The bad idea
that the government must take care
of every soul who claims they're poor,
and are living in despair.
While there are a deserving few,
they're outnumbered by the jerks
who think they can get free money
without having to do real work.
And when you hand the money
it just attracts more and more,
then the politicians pander
to behavior we should deplore.
And those who still bother to work
see bigger chunks of paycheck drained,
then someone calls them all 'racist'
when they point out it's all insane,
until the state is filled with souls
that have never learned to fish,
and the workers either join them
or say,”Goodbye, I'm done with this!”
Many mouths left unproductive,
society will denigrate,
so leave this bad idea behind
when you're leaving that blue state.

Then there is the quite strange notion
that it's good to pay a high tax
in exchange for state services,
but this ignores the cold, hard facts.
The state rarely does anything
better than private business can,
bureaucracy drives up the price,
and the paperwork breaks a man.
Would we really want to deal with
a trip to the DMV
every time we have to go out
and buy the family some groceries?
Plus when you tax a person high
you end up with less business,
take too much profit, the owner's shrug,
say,”What the hell's the point of it?”
They close down or move elsewhere,
take their tax money and the jobs,
leaving employees in the cold,
of all income they are robbed.
Without those jobs the employees
can't buy what they need to survive,
stores start closing, one-by-one,
and soon the economy dies.
Things quickly begin to decay,
a death spiral becomes your fate,
so leave the tax-and-spend behind
when you're fleeing a blue state...

CONCLUDES IN PART II.

Don’t translate poems if you want yours read.
A pain in the ass is a pain nevertheless.
A « race" in any other language is still the shape of the nose.
Every cloud hides shining gold that reveals the silver lining.
It’s the darkest cloak which keeps its silver from jingling in its lining.
Every clout makes you see silver stars while lining up for more stout.
It never rains but giggles.
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket; just lay them.
The child is farther from the man.
Spare the rod and drill the child (with electric…)
The proof of the pudding is in the ridding
Burn the candle at both ends and end up keeping midnight oil vigil in the igloo.
Do tight-rope walkers eat only string hoppers?
The Piped-Piper pipes a pitiful panegyric to Pan past the precipice…
The « dachshund" trotting out on an outing with its master never fails to take its house - under the same roof - for an airing.
Even a stitch in time cannot save the rhyme in the above run-on line.
Rats tend to desert a ship full of lousy fat cats.

The pot calling the wok : mad !
The wok calling the kettle: cad !
The kettle calling the pan: bad !
The pan calling the cook: lad !
The cook calling the « chef": Dad !
All groggy agog and cooking glad !

A chip of the old computer hard-disk block.
All the World’s a cage.
An eye for an eye multiplies drives; tit for tat and that’s that.

Two and Two make Two times Two.
2 + Too make Two Toos. No?

If you beat about the bush, the Bushes most likely’ll not complain, but if you beat the Bushes, you would have nothing to gain.

A State within a State (l’Etat dans l’Etat), a Nation breeds a single State, yet no Nation or State rules those who secretly usurp the State.

If you went and told it to the Marines every time somebody tells you to, you’ll have precious little left to tell your psychoanalyst, psychiatrist or Priest, but fat chance the Church will close down even if you shut up for good.

National Irony

NATIONAL IRONY

All hail the giant of Africa,
Giant of bribery and corruption
Giant of poverty and wailing
Giant in the face of frustration
and hunger.
What Giant is in the soul of Tyrant?

'We are here to serve the masses'
But they serve their personal interest
and enrich thief selfish pocket.
Your money is soaked with the
bitter tears of the poor!

'A descent life for all '
But they impoverish our helpless heart,
Look unto our street and see thousands of descent citizen.

'Health care service for all'
But they refuse to honour the
pulse of medical practitioner,
They cause falseful close down
of our health centers.
Their promise should have been fulfilled
If only we have vaccines in our
hospitals not even an atom of antibiotics.

'Police is your friend, Bail is free'
Why are innocents going through
the pain of the crime they commit not?
But your falseful fine could feed
a whole nation three times.

'Kick against indiscipline K.A.I'
But they kick against public fund,
Kicked against human right,
Kicked against our democracy,
Kicked against National growth.

'Security For all'
But they loot our defence money
They cause 'Boko' to waste life's
Your actions caused our abducted
Skirt homeless and hopeless.

'Equality before the law'
Why are you depriving good
standard of living from us?
You steal trillions of money
to impoverish your brothers
and sisters of the soil.

'Reduce the rate of poverty'
But your policies leads to inflation
We Now wear rag for cloth
While your clothing allowance
can shelter thousand heads.

'Reduce crime rate'
But look into our schools,
cultism is highly ubiquitous
Graduate turn robbers,
Kidnaping here and there
All happened due to your
actions and inaction.

I don't know where the future
of this country is moving to,
Everything is now getting worst
'Things are now falling apart'
Whose fault is it that such
has befallen us?

Phoney Baloney

PHONEY BALONEY

They said:
"We've come here from head office, to help you reach your quota
It's a selfless act on our part and we're going to devote a
Day or two to set you right and get things under control"
I thought:
"Phoney baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll"

She said:
"This new law will be wonderful if we can only get it passed
Then we'll find out what is in it that makes it such a blast
It's far too complicated for the likes of you poor souls"
Aw!
"Phoney baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll"

The President was so clever he'd make fundamental change
Transform his 'evil' country, redistribute, rearrange
Take from those who had succeeded, hand it all out in a dole
Clever?
"Phoney baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll"

It was spread across front pages, it was broadcast on the wind
One week later on the back page in small print was the rescind
If we accept it all then maybe we'll believe anything we're told
Though it's
"Phoney baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll"

Galileo had a problem in reporting what he saw
Church had faith that it knew better, and those days controlled the law
Signor Galilei was persuaded his integrity had to fold
Gave in to:
"Phoney baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll"

Man-made Climate change now dogma we must not question nor belie
'Debate is over! close down research! it is heresy to deny'
If that's what we now call science, we've caught an intellectual cold
For it's
"Phoney baloney, plastic banana, good time rock-n-roll"

So have care with what's accepted and what 'everybody knows'
Observe and make your own judgement; don't fear majority to oppose
Be an 'Enemy of the people' * if that's where integrity leads; don't condole
"P B P B G T R & R"

Bobby Jo Gets a Dog

Bobby Jo went downtown

to look for a dog, no dogs

to be found, she walked up

and down the street looking

for strays, none in sight.

She then took the # 44 bus

to the dog shelter, she really

needed a dog to keep her

company. When she got to

the shelter, she heard them

say, sorry Bobby Jo, no dogs

here today, just cats and rabbits,

oh dear, oh my she told them

what would I do with a cat?

I sneeze my head off whenever

I get near them, and rabbits

are too messy to take care of.

Well they said try the Northbridge

shelter down on YoungFileld Drive,

oh me, oh my that is clear across town,

I will have to take the # 38 bus to get there,

but Bobby Jo you can't take dogs on

the bus, you can't she said to

them, why no you can't,

you will just have to get someone

to take you there and bring you home.

Well she told them I will just go see

what they have there.

Bobby Jo was on the bus

for almost an hour

the shelter was getting

ready to close down for the day.

She only had time to look

for a short while, no small

dogs,no short dogs, or tiny dogs,

only big dogs, large dogs and huge dogs

is what they had.

So Bobby Jo went and caught the bus

and went home very discouraged.

She got off the bus and walked up to

her house and there on her door step

was this real little and very tiny dog

just sitting there in this small cage

with a note that said, Hi Bobby Jo

I heard you were looking for a tiny

dog, or even a very small dog, well

this dog is just right for you, his

name is Tiny and he

is a very good dog and

so well trained just for you.

So Bobby Jo had found a dog

that was just right for her,

and she was one happy woman

and so was her tiny dog

whose name really fit him.

Premium Member The Coronavirus Covid-19 Part Two

The Snohomish County Health District is using the Angel of the Winds Casino's Everett arena. In order to treat victims of COVID-19. Whereas in Seattle 300 Army medical core medical professions are being utilized to treat patients not being effected by the Coronavirus. In Kent and Issaquah motels are being used to intern people affected by it. They are being monitored by the police. Yet in Kent, a homeless man broke lose and robbed a local convenience store.

The Army medical core is using the Seattle's CenturyLink Event Center and field. Treating non victims of COVID-19. Field hospitals are being established nationally and world wide. Treating this contemporary angel of death.

In Yakima twelve to thirteen inmates broke lose because their facility was being impacted by COVID-19. In several of the most impacted states, such as New York. The National Guard has been called out to render assistance. As of yesterday, thirty three of the fifty states have been effected by it.

There have been non essential business in Washington State. Ignoring Governor Jay Inslee's order to close down. First they will be warned, and finally they could lose their business licenses. For continued noncompliance.

President Donald Trump and Congress approved a stimulus package for our nation. Checks should be arriving direct deposit by the IRS in about two to three weeks. His stay at home order has been extended to April 30th.

Online schools are becoming the new normal for students. Even students without home computers can use their teacher's lesson plans. And in some areas home computers are being delivered to k-12 students.

We should watch, wait and pray for the COVID-19 to pass over us. By vanishing into thin air.

Premium Member What Ever Happened

What ever happened to people, who really cared
about the poor and needy in my beloved country?
The current Presidental The administration would like us
to go away. Why not pray God will have the final say!

Yes, rising stock market is good news.
But what about the poor people
trying to make it month after month.
Rising rents are higher than most
people's incomes. Where is all of their
extra money supposed to come from

When a franchise owner of a local Denny;s
on Evergreen Way, in Everett Washington,
had to close down his restaurant.

Why, because the greedy landlord
raised the rent much higher than
he needed to. It was located
not in the high rent district of Everett.
When is enough really enough!

A President of the United States of
America only cares about the wealthy.
And really wants to forget about
the rest of us.

Cutting Social Security,
Medicaid and Medicare.
While lining the pockets
of his wealthy friends.
What a terrible trend
this country is headed in!

The people of Saint Louis
are facing severe wage cuts.
When is enough, enough?

The current administration does not
really care whether care or not
his people breathe fresh air.
Having pure water to drink,
or fresh and healthy food to eat.

He does not care if the poor
and the homeless line
city streets. Does he really
care? President Donald
Trump maybe would say,
"If they don't have any
food to eat, let them eat cake!"

Yes our nation's infer structure
does badly need repair.
He cares about repairing bridges,
and free ways. Maybe he
even cares if the workers
get paid!

Love as always!

My Home Town

It used to be nice
In the North
When we were working class
Not just poor

Neighbours would
Chat and laugh,
Exchange news and views
Over the garden fence

Children were safe
To play out all day
Those living on the street
Would make sure it was that way

Not everyone had a phone
Or a car
Or had a foreign holiday
But we didn’t mind

Because what we had
Where we lived
Meant it was
A nice place to be

Friends and family
Lived nearby
Always someone around
To help out

Because that’s
What community
Is all about
That’s all gone now

Those who can
Have moved out of town
There’s no one you used to know around
New neighbours keep their heads down
That’s today’s picture of my home town

The centre looks like
It might have been
A functioning place
Once upon a time

Empty shops
Now blight the town
Even Charity Shops
Close down

Daytime drinking and drugs
Funded by the beggars cup
Homelessness all around
Nothing to live for
In my home town

Economic migrants
From all over the world
Hang around my home town
Waiting for their western dream
To come about

We have no idea why they have come
There is no trace of affluence
To share in in my home town
As for work
There’s practically none

Women are spat at in the street
Right where they walk
So in it they step,
Complemented with a disgusted glare

It offends those who have come
That women are out on their own
This never happens when they
Have a man on their arm

White Prostitute is a common slur
Along with white girls are just
Prostitutes you don’t have to pay
How did things get this way?

Sleep Wonderful Sleep

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
ZZ-Sleep is so wonderful. Mostly in the morning when you don't want to get up.ZZ
You lay there hoping for just 5 minutes more. And you say, "I'm going to bed earlier tonight"
Well you work all day and then you go home and get on PS on the PC and you read poems.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
comments, make new comments to different ones, read soupmail, check for new contests,
check contests winners, read new blogs. You eat your dinner and then go back to the PC and
more PS. You keep watching the clock because you say to yourself, "In 15 more minutes,
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I'm going to take my shower and go to bed!" You begin this around 9:30 p.m. or so. At
9:45, you say, "I'll wait until 10:00," At 10:00 you say, "I'll wait until 10:15." And so you go
on until pretty soon the clock strikes 12 midnight. You reluctantly close down your PC and go
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
take a shower. You get in the bed around 12:30, sometimes later. Sometimes things are on
your mind and you don't go to sleep for awhile. Sometimes you fall asleep very quickly.

Blue Screen of Death

It’s hit me once again
That Blue screen of death
My computers’ frozen solid
Cores’ dumped it to the disc
There could be a problem
With my new hardware
Or need an update driver
In the software somewhere

I’m the blue screen of death
Come to strike you down
With my hexadecimal values
That will make you wanna frown
Characters, codes and messages
Written across your screen
Now doesn’t that look freighting
I’m so blue and mean

I must reboot the system
A fatal error has occurred
My computers’ looking miserable
Blue background with white words
I must check with the kernel
Take a crash recovery course
This is my worst nightmare
The dreaded blue screen that taunt's

I’m the blue screen of doom
Come to strike you down
With my hexadecimal values
That will make you wanna frown
Characters, codes and messages
Written across your screen
Now doesn’t that look puzzling
It will make you want to scream

Windows has encountered a problem
And needs to close down
The OS can’t recover
And I’m still hanging around
It’s another critical failure
Let’s create a mini-dump
I’m bringing down your system
And giving you the hump

I’m the blue screen of hell
Come to strike you down
With my hexadecimal values
That will make you wanna frown
Characters, codes and messages
Written across your screen
Now doesn’t that look lovely
A wonderful blue and white scene

Now I can target anyone
Strike at anytime
Don’t think that you’ll be safe
Cause you might be next in line
