Premium MemberBronze Gaze

Oh how do I love thou,
Allow me to count the ways,
Let me bask in your bronze gaze,
As you teach me how now.

Oh how do I love thou,
Allow me to exchange a gaze,
Let yourself kiss me in all the ways,
As you flail against me now.

Oh how do I love thou,
Allow me to embrace your ways,
Let me stare into your bronze gaze
As you lift me up now.

Oh how do I love thou,
Allow me to in return flirtingly gaze
Into your eyes as you flirt in all the ways,
As you brush up against me now.

Premium MemberIt Started With A Blank Canvas

The master artist stroked with his brush of beneficence
The canvas relented. There, hence, blossomed magnificence.
Each stroke gave birth to a rainbow of multi-hued images.
Each dot gleamed, as though waiting to be alive for long ages.

Trees, shrubs, and herbs; hills, mountains, fountains, rivers, and oceans
The galaxies, heavens, and Hades each depicted his notions.
Ponds, lakes, and waterfalls— everything seemed good in my eyes.
None couldn't avoid praising the way he had sketched the skies.

Why, yet, are these desert storms, volcanoes, and earthquakes sketched?
Why are these charcoal-like black dots, like landscapes, seen outstretched?
Is it the soul wish of the artist, who has his own way?
Are these, like gems fixed in jewels, a part of the array?

The master may have many unique morals to impart.
Aren't good and evil, hope and hopelessness, parts of one's heart?
To brush up the marshy, bushy paths, I should add my mite.
Isn't continuing the master's work my divine right?

Premium MemberHawaii Vacation

As we walk along the beach in Honolulu the sand welcomes are feet
The warm sun and the gentle trade winds are a combo not to be beat
The waves brush up against the shore then offer a hasty retreat
A kite surfer floats across the water looking so very elite
Surfboards with those tanned riders come rushing in
In an effort to impress those bikini-clad ladies they hand their trying to win
Tonight the feast for the ages a luau awaits
A romantic evening under the stars ours to create
Hula dancers swaying to the music under the moonlight
Drinks flowing like the ocean to liven up our night
Our evening of fun has come to an end
We leave in high spirits as tomorrow we will do it all again

Whiskers of time brush up
    'gainst gossamer silk web
  Slow down, slow down, they said

  'Til forces impure
    back off their attack
  Faced down, turned-around
                         bone-dry bled

Premium MemberIts So Becoming

All the coming and going,
going out
guests coming, so -
dress up
make up

brush up
tidy up
don the new getup
shake the dust
off the best plates.
Its so uplifting and fulfilling.
This is so becoming.

Premium MemberOn To Plan B

I'd travel the world
  Trip the light fantastic
Spend quality time with my family
  My schedule, so elastic

Brush up on my reading
  Start a garden, plant seedlings
Exercise daily, religiously
  Attend prayer services regularly

Well, retirement's come and I must say
  Things haven't exactly broken my way
My body's rebelled, and I've had to scrap
  ~ Everything save my afternoon nap

Premium MemberMask Is the New Black

The mask's a thing of fashion. Can’t you see?
It boldly states the new identity.

People must make a statement with the eyes.
The smile or frown is something we now hide.

We stealth behind expressions of the self
revealing secret likes to someone else.

Militant, flowered, skulls and Mickey Mouse
parade in the pandemic out the house.

Any wardrobe would seriously lack
if not in possession of basic black.

It seems that everyone has choice of play
in what they want to represent that day.

Whatever your choosing, brush up your teeth.
It makes the wearing better underneath.

Premium MemberAs If

i close my eyes
to dream
conjuring
under a silver moon
a warm summer breeze
one that moves me
swaying gently
whimsical and magical
when suddenly you appear
as if you were right here
i feel you wrap your arms around me
your lips brush up against my skin
as if i never lost you
together reunited at our
enchanted seaside rendezvous

Premium MemberPurging the Extra Stuff

When I am honest with my belongings
I am amazed to find that I have surrounded myself
With things that I thought I could not live without
Once upon a time…..

But once upon a time is long gone, and these things
no longer give me joy, or make me happy in any kind of
weird way.

That sparkly spangly pillow I did not think I could live
without two months ago Is uncomfortably hard, and
scrapes my fingers in an unkind way when I accidentally
brush up against it. But here it sits because I did pay
Twenty-three dollars for it, right?
Wrong!

It is going, and so are thousands of other items that
no longer give me joy. I am loading up the truck with
buckets and boxes of insane things when my husband
starts to stroll around the corner. Whisk! He is now
hiding behind the edge of the porch.

He has seen me in this mood many times, and he
always comments that he is surprised I have not
yet hauled him off. I glare at him. Wishing he would
get just a little closer for I am in that mood.

Premium Member-------Just There

In my sleep I see your love
.......just there;
In the morning as I awaken I feel your rest;
My hearts aching I need just a touch;
A brush-up against. just to feel your spirit;
Your soul next to mine
Nothing physical, just a true find;
Intangible spiritual
I'm awake my heart aches;
I'm hungry my stomachs quakes..
I long for the taste of your food;
The manna that you've gathered;
You're the foam, the cream, the lather;
And when all is fair, yet still your
.......just there;

A Sensual Night To Never Forget

a fever with chills running
down my aching spine,
the taste of your nape
and your curved outline-
touch me right there
and keep going, my sweet,
tickle my thighs and
don't be discreet.

for I have never been
unhinged like this before,
so kiss behind my ears
and shut that open door-
my longing overpowers my
need to always be right,
so show me your passion
and infatuation tonight.

brush up against my lips
so I can taste your scent,
for this night shall be
the most sensual event-
show me the sin you've
always desired to commit,
for your body and mine
have always fit.

if you show me the love
I know you feel inside-
forever I shall show you
passion...
      be your sexy guide.
