Bright And Early Poems | Examples

Premium Member The Snowflake

From the coldest, blackest sky
I came ... without any warning,
So tiny, so intricate am I ...
There will be more by morning

Don't know where I will land
Don't know what town it will be,
Don't know who I will meet
Will they want to see me

When they wake bright and early
And notice from out their window,
A fresh coating of soft white
... A new season's first snow

But a short time, and we do melt
Away in three months' flurry,
A long time by some is felt
As for me ... why should I hurry

Tonight, I am slowly falling
Don't know where I will land,
Will I last the entire winter
Or disappear in one's hand?

Premium Member Paradise regained

Nothing could be finer than to be deep inside your v****a in the morning
Nothing could be sweeter than my sweetie when I touch her up in the morning
When my morning glory presents itself at your widening door
Threading through your fair forest to enter your oasis once more
Rolling with my girlie in our bed so bright and early in the morning
Puckering up my lips to kiss your stiffening papillae tips in the morning
And then south of your succulent breasts I often long to go
To sip the ichor of your oasis in its fertile and full flow
Until finally we again come back chest to breasts and face to face
To merge in that one climactic full and frenetic embrace
From which we recover aquiver, relaxed and wholly spent.
A brief glimpse of heaven from above so generously sent
This engrossing eternal bliss allows us both to rise
To luxuriate in our fleeting moment of that pure paradise.
If I had a magic wand for only a day,
I'd make a wish and here's what I'd say,
"Nothing could be finer than to be deep in your v****a
Every morning"

Fiat Robot

Up bright and early at the sound of the alarm
It better not smash that snooze or else it might lose...

The mighty race for fiat
Up, alert, and ready is the robot

A quick yawn, wash, and dress, and the fast is broken...

Then quickly out into the concrete jungle, it goes
Aptly navigating and meandering amongst other 'bots' 'cause it knows

It must be on time, ready, willing, and able
This the 'bot' too knows if it is to remain stable

It looks forward to a vacation here and some PTO there
As long as the fiat doesn't stop, then it's fair

Moving to make sure ends meet is the life of the robot
So the chase continues, yes, the mighty chase for fiat

Unnoticed

Nothing seemed peculiar or out of place.
Just another day at her workspace.

Bright and early at 7 am, she clocked in.
It was
Friday, a time for some productive work before the weekend.

She had plans to work and return home.
But angels had other plans for Ms. Prudhomme.

From her cubicle, she quietly took flight,
Away from the daily grind and futile fight.

For four days, her avatar sat alone,
No more life, no more earth to call home.

For four days, nobody came to see about her.
Maybe there was a phone call, text, or email, but there was nothing after.

Nothing peculiar or out of place,
Just another day at the workspace.

Premium Member Marathon

Training for a marathon, where does someone begin to start
Time to begin six months of intense training, a course I need to chart
Discipline and willpower I must rely on to get the job done
Hard work I am not afraid of it, in fact, I will welcome the challenge and try to make it fun
To be able to accomplish this a combination of great mental and physical strength I must apply
With a balanced diet, lots of sleep, and preparation I must endeavor to try
Some people think twenty-six miles of driving is a long way
When I cross the finish line I will have created a memory surely to stay
Tomorrow bright and early a starting pistol will fire, being focused and relaxed is surely the key
The long journey has finally come to an end, where I finished and how long it took me will have to wait and see
The goal of completing the marathon was all that I wanted to achieve
You can afford whatever you want out of life, you just have to believe

A Typical Day

I woke up bright and early today
Everything will be okay
First, I ate breakfast
and hoped that I didn’t choke
Next, I took a soothing shower
hoping that we’d have stable power
After wearing my best outfit
I hoped my neighbour wouldn’t throw a fit
I took my keys from the table and my hands began to shake
Were my clothes suitable for the weather?
My resolve started to break
I walked to the door
But began to pace in front of it
When I couldn’t take it anymore
I curled up into a ball
I finally calmed but the sun was down
I stood up and walked to bed
Maybe next time I’ll have more luck

Sun Day

Up bright and early with HORUS
Enjoying the sounds of the Morning Glory chorus

Feeling the energy and riding with RA at noon
Beautiful, warming rays piercing my skin like a harpoon

Coming down a bit after noon, moving towards SET
But still shining brightly 'cause it hasn't gone down yet

Now OSIRIS is looming very near
Cooling down, yes, going down, about to disappear

Ten Thousand White Horses

I open up my eyes on this dark November morn
Up bright and early at the very crack of dawn
When the sun she ascends I am happy to admire
As I dress in my warmest winter attire
Then gently make my way down towards the sea
For the sight of her waves always fills me with glee
Hearing her voice so powerful and low
Watching in reverence her ebb and her flow
Holding my breath at waves twenty foot high
When her band of white horses come galloping by
The spray from their hooves refreshing my skin
They are pounding towards me inviting me in
So tempting are they on this November day
Sheer beauty and power as her waves they do tower
I am drawn to her side so majestic is she
Her call loud and clear ~ though I must not adhere
And watching in awe her sheer power I adore
Frozen to the spot and completely mesmerised
As ten thousand white horses gallop into the skies…

Thanksgiving

This is a time for gathering side by side,
Frustrations set aside by the riverside.
Step off the roller coaster of life,
Spend time with the people in your life.

Set up the fryer and inject the turkey.
Dinner prep starts bright and early.
Mac and cheese bakes in the oven,
Everyone’s waiting to start grubbin’.

The annual parade is around the corner,
Santa’s sleigh is getting closer and closer.
Excitement fills the atmosphere,
Like spring pollen entering the air.

The end of the year is officially here,
The air is filling with joy and cheer.
Harvest the blessings in your life,
They will benefit you in the fight.

Gremlin's Arrival

Today
I email
I google
I print
But at night the gremlin arrives
He lives deep in my cupboard
And when he is ready
comes out of the shadows
malevolence in his eyes

I awake bright and early
The sun still asleep
Today I have deadlines to meet
I push the on button
His dirty deed done
Sitting back on his haunches
to witness the fun
No printing
No google
No emails
Today

The Silly Farmer

Awoken was the farmer one bright and early dawn,
Restless and he couldn’t sleep,
So he thought he’d mow the lawn.

He went into the garden and got down upon his knees,
Much to surprise to the farmer’s wife,
He was cutting it with his teeth.

He rode across the golden fields to pick his corn that day,
Sat upon a squealing pig whilst munching on some hay.

He tried to milk the horses and had the sheep all wearing socks,
He round up all his chickens to dig up all his crops.

He fed the cows spaghetti and dressed the dog and cat, both had matching shirt and tie and a flowery matching hat.

He was a silly farmer, he loved to dance and play,
The farmers wife looked on and laughed for this was just another day.

Premium Member The Crack of Dawn

Up bright and early at the crack of dawn
Seems that's been my routine forever
Don't wanna waste a single damn moment
Don't wanna miss a single thing ever

Time seems forever when we're wee folks
Old age is a bunch of decades away
Then all of a sudden it jumps up and bites us
Celebrated your 60th birthday today

Talk about the years literally flying by
Seems like they're in overdrive they do
Here's some news you young whippersnappers
Soon be waving your young life, adieu

Sure didn't start out to write a downer
Guess my age is starting to catch up
Usually, I'm over the top with the happy stuff
So back to wagging my tail like a pup!

The Morning Rush

The Morning Rush

Early to bed early to rise, makes one healthy and wise....
So here I am, wide awake and awaiting sunrise....

The millionaires, they sleep on, not a surprise...
If they awake before noon, that itself is an event.....

For even when they sleep, their money they make....
Why awake up early, more money to be raked...

The poor working man, well before sunrise he awakes...
Just so he would not be caught in traffic jams or be late...

He deludes himself into thinking being up bright and early...
He gets all the morning worms and he'll be as chirpy as can be....

Ballyhoo, what a fallacy, that is plain lunacy...
Awakening early is a sin, a criminal act bordering on insanity....

Forgoing precious early morning sleeping hours...
Just to hit the road to be an early one to report for duty...

What a sad delusionary perspective to a beautiful morning...

Hopeless

Hopeless
By Samuel K Byrd

A hot meal, a cold bed, and hopes
that tomorrow will be a better day
unemployed house foreclosed and the repo-man
arrived bright and early yesterday
tax cuts, tax incentives, stimulus package
all a little too late
get in line; get a plate, two hours later
you've forgotten what you just ate
classifieds job fairs Internet but nothing
seems to help
only good thing is that there is no wife or kids
I only have to provide for myself
just stay focused work the system
don't let it work you
keep your head high and your prayers higher
and soon you will make it through

Terminator

1/13/16

Waking up bright and early, and allready using the percolator
Figure out what is and isn't worth the labor
Learn what's greater
Before a possible outcome is determined later
Don't ever try to put people, animals or the Earth in danger
Otherwise I'll take you out faster than the terminators
Above the dirt and craters
Always loved to work in nature
And to earn that paper
With no intentions to ever curse a neighbor
Because I'll handle it myself, an will not be the first to waiver

Never be an impersonator
Or try to excuse mistakes on having the worst behavior
Put the pieces together, instead of trying to ruin major amounts of ferns and acres

On both sides of the equator a fire burned several layers
Some of the ash and leftover residue turned into vapors

Lost and got back some bulk
As a kid and adult

Ran into many cults
Doing things that harmed innocent folks

So the result was a revolt and me turning into the hulk
Before beginning to catapult above a gulch full of mulch
