Magic Rabbit

A funny-looking bunny dropped by the other day
black white and brown fur a stray who'd lost his way
and
he let me hand-feed him with carrot tops
and spinach leaves but that is where familiarity stops
for
neither petting nor patting would he permit
this half-wild half-tame non-cottontail misfit
and when
with leaps and bounds he hopped while binking
around the garden it got me thinking
as
blink for a moment and at the drop of a hat
he'd do the disappearing trick in seconds flat
tho'
here one minute and then gone the next
with a nose that twitches maybe he was hexed
or perhaps
he's an astute old soul reincarnated to inhabit
the space and time of this cute magic rabbit

Love knows no bounds

years gone by
a scatter of memories
and in your eyes the shadow
of what once was

do you sometimes
flash back and remember
where we once landed
who we once were and
what we meant to each other

time won't fade away our past
still i vow to stand by you
and love you enough for two

Abounds beyond bounds

Your intelligence is of special kinds,
Your goodness runs your enemies aground,
God's favour in your life forever binds,
Your wisdom is just undoubtedly sound.

On your face, happiness is daily found,
You are sweet like songs played by a good band,
Your handsomeness is cool all the year round,
The pure love in your heart meets all demand.

Success flows into your life with no end,
You and prosperity form solid bonds,
Your kindness daily finds hearts for a mend,
Your love cools like having a million Pounds.

Your blessings are uncountable as sand,
Your greatness penetrates all types of bounds,
Your friendship is more than a million grand,
In your life God has made his love abounds.

for the very first time)

My love for you knows no bounds
It is a love that I've longed for every single day of my life
But until we met, I thought it was out of my reach
It has happened, that love I've longed for has happened
My whole life is upside down, in utter turmoil
I know this love can never be but I'm utterly enthralled
This passionate lady has me by the heart strings
Feel like a helpless teenager experiencing love for the very first time
Oblivious to things going on around me
Totally and hopelessly consumed by this obsession
Where is it all leading?
Are we destined to exist in this world of utter frustration
Or will we someday somehow meet
And our love and desires be fulfilled
A living dream but a dream that keeps me alive
Alive with the hope that dreams sometimes do come true!

So long ago,
When I was a lass
Boys would whistle,
As they walked past
I would blush scarlet,
To the roots of my hair
And hurry by,
With my red nose in the air

I am now in my dotage.
I don't think about men,
Who am I kidding?
I do now and then.
I have someone special,
My husband and best friend,
He adores me still, even though
I have gone around the bend.

Hold on tightly, when life takes its great leaps and bounds
this old blue marble is not all sweet virgin ground
strewn about are horrendously nasty pitfalls
awaiting the fruits of world's constant tempting calls
to dive right on in and never mind the dark sin
after all, are we not modern, enlightened men?

As wise, old philosophers great advice once gave.
" Be wise now, for waits only a dark lonely grave".

Hold on tightly, raging world ever faster spins
as its current master, the dark one sits and grins
but modern man believes not in such fairy tales
or an afterlife, or chasing a Holy Grail
so dive right in, these waters are so very fine
and on your new, bright golden plates you too shall dine!

As wise, old philosophers great advice once gave.

at age 23 and after going through a very troublesome time in my young life...

Out of Bounds

Ilene took an hard look at Dennis
Whose shorts were designed to play tennis
Though he beamed with pride
His balls bounced outside
Perhaps he should try serving Guinness!

Infinite Bounds

Infinity overspreads her ineffable bounds
 as finitude struggles below on the ground

Disparate features burst forth exponential
  worshipers gasp ~ essence's multi-dimensional

Word Play Bounds-

brilliantly, blindly, boldly, blissfully
brutally, bashfully
busily ba  ba  ba bo,

Hypocrisy Has No Bounds

*Just an opinion:  Ignore if you choose.


Burn the city down, they yell!
Crowds march chanting, screaming
It’s not like they haven’t already done it
So the threat is real, but goes ignored
Allowed as if this is all ‘peaceful’
Negative comments about them are refrained, not said
The rest of us wait for violence, to break out in darkness
Then wake to hear about what is lost next
The media mostly do not care
Police are mainly told to stand down
These rioters rule the streets these days
Oh, but there are more things to care about…
Like calling infiltrated protesters who entered the capital
	   -  Domestic Terrorists   -
Hypocrisy has no bounds while unity cannot be one way!

Not Be On Bounds

Love has no boundaries 
One can enter the other's territory 
Arming not as for the enemies 
Harming not the other any 
To feel alike
To heel one another 
To share alike 
To live together 
No matter what bothers in between

The Vagaries of Mind

My mind wanders here and there,
It has no bounds or limitations,
It keeps on thinking,
Various thoughts,
Sometimes ridiculous and at times,
Crazy and idiotic,
 It quells my sleep,
And bothers my peace,
I seek solace in prayer and meditation,
Which gives me temporary ease;
The erratic thoughts come back,
To me, with incessant worries,
Which sap my energies,
And keep me  hankering for serenity.

You Were Born With Me

YOU WERE BORN WITH ME
From the very formation of my heart you were there
For the very survival of my heart you just have to be here
Before the pumps and pricks that make me live and move
There is the presence of your undecripable love
You were part of me before I was born
Right inside the marrow of my bone

I feel your presence which holds the occupation of my mind
I think of you and feel your magnificent acts that bind
Binding you to me at even childhood memories
As I reminisce the happiest infancy memories
Feeling your presence just like my very eyes that saw
Breaking the bounds of time’s law 

You were born with from the womb of my mother
Every little piece of me has something of you in it like my color

Out of Bounds

Out of Bounds!

Do you know when your sanity's out in 'left field?'
Are you still in the ballpark? Oh, heart, please get steeled!
Though the answers aren't pretty, the truth's there to seek!
It's when I feel the strongest; I'm often most weak!

I don't hate God at all, but I know that man's not
Even close to His Word, such pretense is absurd,
In such great agitation? One's mind turns to rot.
Does it seem friend betrays you, you fear stranger's plot?
'Out of bounds' Sir's the Christian who loves to start fires,
Who burns other's faith down, who claims other's are liars,
In bemusement would torch angels' funeral pyres,
Burn own children to death in attempts to flee hell!
If you're riding this boat friend, things aren't going well!
You'd be wise to jump ship,  or perhaps add less lip
To the cauldron you stir, if you do, I won't tell! 

But you need to give up your strong urge to control,
To be 'out of bounds' hints that you act like a troll!
Try obeying the laws and not stacking the courts,
If you hope to find Love, not just f**k paid escorts!
