Heaven Sent - Tim Smith and Seren

Written by Tim Smith and Seren Roberts

Across the room I slowly walk
Hips swaying, smile in place
Sensually I use my body to talk
Holding out my hands to touch his face

Here she comes, walking my way
Beauty and grace, with a smile in place
Look at her swing, look at her sway
Oh how I want to kiss that sweet face

Gently I bring his face close to mine
Looked into his eyes, desire written there
Hungrily kiss his lips, they feel divine
I stroke his neck, ruffling his hair

She pulls me in, much to my surprise
Aromatic perfume, she's heaven sent
Glow to her face, twinkle in her eyes
Her touches so sweet, I must be a gent

Crooking my finger he follows at last
I wait til his body is close to mine
Slowly I turn, my heart beating fast
Look on his face is saying all is fine.

Following close when she calls to me
Feelings so strong, feelings so right
My heart beating fast, she sets me free
Our heat steaming up, on this brisk night

Just goes to prove with a smile and a sway
A gal can entice a guy in a seductive way

Heaven Sent

Been so broken down, baby
Isolated, shuttered,
Dilipidated; in disrepair

Been so sad and empty
Before you, I didn't wanna care
I had lost all hope and drive
To continue even trying
Void of volition
Drifting from day to day
With no desire - no ambition

All that's changed now, sugar
Cos from out of nowhere, you've finally arrived
To prove you're not going anywhere.

Your kindness and concern for my welfare
Soothe my tired soul
And rejuvenate
My sullen spirit

Thank you endlessly
For patiently and relentlessly
Chiseling and chipping away
At my recalcitrant heart

Gone are the days of
Thinking my lot in life won't improve
You have resurrected my desire to love
You're my richest, sweetest treasure
Boon to my existence
You must be
Heaven sent

You're a little late, my honey,
But that's OK, my angel,
Your untimely arrival
Is a much-needed surprise.

You're a blessing to my well-being
My game-changer; my lifesaver
Before I was bitter, sour - on my own
I'm savoring your hugs and kisses
What we have is priceless
You've rekindled my inner glow

Promise me, baby, we'll work together to retain what we have found
So that we shall never wither away
Impenetrable and tightly woven
Together, as one, we will grow stronger.

At bedtime he closes his eyes
Thru meadows chases butterflies
Sunshine in his hair
Free without a care
He’s ten and innocent
Surely heaven sent
Each night distant stars he touches
Leaves behind his crutches
The soul of a budding drummer
Liberated thru fields of summer
Recurring dreams of running free
And like his friends he climbs a tree

Heaven Sent

There was once an old girl called Flo
On her death asked to go below.
See, she had this trick,
To try to convert old Nick,
But he told her where to go!

She arrived prematurely:
she is exhausted and spent.
And rests in quiet slumber,
like an Angel heaven sent.

Looking just like her mother:
she beat the odds to survive.
For it was a miracle:
I thank God that she's alive.

She's lying next to my wife,
whose smile cannot be contained.
But although she's overjoyed,
she is physically strained.

So, I cradle our baby
lovingly within my arms.
And open my heart up to
her indisputable charms.

Her chest heaves rhythmically
within the embrace of sleep.
And as I caress her hair,
it's a struggle not to weep.

Slowly, dawn emerges with crimson rays,
Portrays its sovereign self amidst the hues
As warmth endows its worth on seas of trees.
Waves of verdant growth glows in divine design
Where sylvan showers cap canopies with a
Transparent radiant rainbow arc’s blessing.

My girlfriend’s love never ceases
My girlfriend loves me to pieces
My girlfriend takes away my breath
My girlfriend just loves me to death

Too young to be passing so soon

Johnny Depp Wrapped In Chocolate Would Be Heaven Sent

~~Johnny Depp Wrapped in ChocolateThat Would Be Heaven Sent~~

Bonjour môn amies a ballade to write, will be my fait accompli
The trials of a woman to bring love - in a village that did not play.
An alluring female chocolatier opens a choclaterie-e
Hated by the Mayor she wished her plans she never did lay
Ooh la la !! Her dress was racy - but still they began to pay
Johnny Depp was her gypsy lover when on the river they went
But she had to win the love of others to fulfil plans, come what may
Johnny Depp wrapped in chocolate - that would be heaven sent.

A village so French - a so called femme fatal-e
She determined to change there outlook and stay
Viva la difference, but one by one she turned them to see
Her chocolate treats did melt in mouth - in secret they did say
C’est manifique - they whispered with authority
Her sweets bites bought together those she thought were meant
Even though some tried to block her treats others made a silent plea
Johnny Depp wrapped in chocolate – that would be heaven sent.

To church the lady never went an illegitimate child the Mayor did see
But slowly the French ladies turned to love this alluring woman and say
Her chocolate they thought magical- her raison d’etre it must be
Her tête-à-têtes were to open hearts, and bring peace and love to stay
Reconciliations made in her chocolate shop - their thoughts began to sway
But no chocolates were they to eat, and the reason - it was lent…
But those that did dare to try - found on their tongues it did dance and play
But Johnny Depp wrapped in chocolate - that would be heaven sent.

Prince Depp my piece-de-resistance, is there for all to see
My joie de vivre if I had been there, even though it may be lent
I would have paid money just to see…
Johnny Depp wrapped in chocolate - that would be heaven sent.

Heaven Sent

I once thought you had been heaven sent,
but now you bring all this mad ferment.
Your crazy emotions
and endless commotions
tell me we were never heaven meant.

You are my friend..
Come show your hand
Memories we bot had
By gones still be a fad

You are my friend..
I will always understand
For you, I'll take a stand
Uncertain it maybe, no run

You are my friend...
I do not like ever to bend
Try and try we will mend
Love and care always ascend

You are my friend..
I will extend a hand
Even my life I will tend
From God, You are heaven sent

Heaven Sent

HEAVEN SENT
BY MARVIN UGORJI

Now I know you are a heaven sent,
You have been with me,
All these past year,
Without me lending you an ear.

You are a heaven sent,
Cos you keep me strong,
Whenever the road is too long,
And also when I go wrong.

You are a heaven sent,
Cos whenever I'm tired of life,
You deliver me from my strife.
Now i know you can be a wife.

You are heaven sent,
That is why I will never again,
Feel anything call pain,
Or any type of strain.

Heaven-sent on dove’s whitest wings,
unique beauty of nature sings
with cottony clouds and harp strings
gushing out crystal sparkling springs.

Its magic an enchanting tease
as music floats down with the breeze.
Subtle nostalgic melodies
whisper God’s clear cathartic pleas.

Life bursts forth with a childlike glee
in earth, in sky, and on the sea.
My heart and soul cavorting free,
playful caresses cover me.

Divine musings flow from my soul,
when in the woods, I take a stroll
to purge me, cleanse me and console,
heaven-sent blessings make me whole.

I'm standing on the platform, but I ain't waiting for a train
It's a spaceship I'm about to enter to take me to another plane
I'm going on a journey and I'll be gone for many a year
But the sights I view will marvel I, and quell all my fears

The countdown has reached it's prime as the boosters ignite the fuel
Blast off as I head to the heavens, escaping the atmosphere's cool
The tanks that have carried me here, are released to fall to the earth
There's no turning back I say to myself, this is a time to feel worth

The first thing I do when we orbit, is to view where I came from
Whatever I find, where ever I go, there will only be one place called home
Into the black void we travel, passing abandoned pieces of man
Redundantly left to roam, they have finished their part of his plan

We pass many particles of matter, forever strewn in this darkened world
Remnants of explosions from it's past, in ever travelling hurl
Bright lights appear all around, these plasma luminous balls
Held together by gravity, growing up they left us in enthralled

As we travel we become very wary, of the monster from this deep
Black Holes we are told many a time, from them nothing seeps
These regions of space lure, not even light can escape
Anything bright in it's presence, becomes inter planetary rape

But out in this uncharted territory lies a beautiful wonderful place
It's called the Milky Way Galaxy, it's where our Solar System is graced
If man ever decides to frequent, we have to leave many traits behind
For if there are others out here, we really have to be

A totally different, mankind.

You're an Angel, Heaven sent from above:
what did I ever do to deserve you?
You offered me unconditional love:
something I doubted anyone could do.

You are my world, my hope, my everything:
conjoined soulmates; together, we are one.
You taught me to listen to songbirds sing:
and find the beauty in a setting sun.

You are my conscience, my match in the dark:
my muse, my tether to reality.
Without you, life would feel empty and stark:
you're the only one who believes in me.

Providing me with a reason to live:
you've given me what no one else could give.
