I watch moonbeams dance on an inky sea
Clouds drift on by, oh how the moon does shine
Moonlight shadows always fascinate me
This ever-changing scene is so divine

Clouds drift on by, oh how the moon does shine
As I stroll down to the sea late at night
This ever-changing scene is so divine
Stars are twinkling, giving celestial light

As I stroll down to the sea late at night
I’m captivated by such stunning skies
Stars are twinkling, giving celestial light
Until the morning sun begins to rise

I’m captivated by such stunning skies
Moonlight shadows always fascinate me
Until the morning sun begins to rise
I watch moonbeams dance on an inky sea

"Play the flute of felicity! You, yourself, are the melody."
                                   ~ Rumi

Play the flute of felicity
Convey the melody of joy
Sway with the rhythm of gaiety
Allay all fears, all doubts destroy

Vibrate the air with your tempo
Create the beat for your flute song
Relate your passion with gusto
Captivate them with cadence strong

Replay this magical moment
Display your finesse that lingers
Portray your symphony intent
Slay them with fast moving fingers

Generate a heart-tugging tune
Indicate your mirth through the flute
Fascinate the crowd with your boon
Radiate ecstasy acute

Nature says create and rejuvenate.

Beasts cooperate and repopulate.

Sun’s rays dominate; showers saturate!

Blooms that fascinate soon accumulate.

Bees don’t hesitate to participate

as they pollinate. Isn’t springtime great!

Premium Member A Garden Mom

A myriad of enchanting flowers
at grandma's grandiose garden
that bloomed like perennial wildflowers
used to fascinate a multitude of people
who entered the porch
of our century-old ancestral abode.

A kid at seven I wondered
when i heard her every morning
whilst sprinkling them with rice water;
She spoke to each plant in nicknames
like her own children~
Chrysanthemum she called, Chrissy
her ravishing rose as Rossy
her dazzling dahlia as Dolly
her bushy bougainvillae as Bougy~
They smiled and danced during roll call;
And when the evening came,
in magical moonlit milieu
like children at play I heard them
singing sublime symphonies
only for me and for grandma.

My grandma was a great mom~
not only to her children
not only to me
but to all the flowers naive and wild
beguilingly blossoming in her gracious garish garden.

Alas, the garden is gone~
and so my grandma~
I hear the old porch
calling me~
"Come back, my beloved child!".

Carry My Shadow

To stop her tears flowing endlessly,
remembering eleven years ago,
a helpless injured body, beaten
By her own hands,
smashed her head on the wall,
 dripping a fountain of blood.

 That day, she hypnotized
her spirit and soul
Not to abandon her,
but carry her wounded shadow
To her doctor,
lamenting for help.

Her youth was evaporating,
she needed to stabilize
her elderly emotions,
to stop living in the past,
if not, her future,
 will never be lived.

Cured Today.
She did intercept to abolish
Her melancholic delusional thoughts,
and involve her dreams
 To wake up,
project a beautiful ambiance.

She did nourish her desire
not to surrender,
to the unhealthy society,
but enjoy sharing the love
To remain affectionate,
even sentimental
towards life.

She will embark her thoughts
To lift her compassion,
imagination, and forgiveness,
 fascinate her existence with
The will power,
 to fight to live.

She will then, become strong,
 befriend her emotions,
kindness and sensitiveness,
 all her loyalties,
to allow her soul
be occupied, with joy.

She will feel the urge to
Find a place in time to withdraw,
dream how to replenish herself,
Forbid her mind to remain
ailing,
and survive.

She will then, live with a mission,
become saturated with gratitude
Being alive,
 in the present time.

Fairy lights of insects
        Fascinate the senses
                 Flaring in the nighttime
                             Feel the magic moment
                 Filagree wings in flight
         Flitting in a bright dance
Free flow sparks of wonder.

A world of sublime aromas, a white sail unfolds.
Slowly and surely, the enormous feathery wonder
Bloom spiced the sky, and ovate petals it holds.
eerie harbinger of rage, the victim of plunder.

Slowly and surely, the enormous feathery wonder
Varied tones of hearts persuade and fascinate.
eerie harbinger of rage, the victim of plunder.
A radiant soul with a pure golden heart resonates.

Varied tones of hearts persuade and fascinate.
Floral stalk's moonlit waltz lures the bud as well.
A radiant soul with a pure golden heart resonates
Oddly, lengthy success can't break a friend's spell.

Floral stalk's moonlit waltz lures the bud as well.
A vanilla toffee smell dances as a yearning blow.
Oddly, lengthy success can't break a friend's spell.
Weapons were a depiction of violent strife show.

A vanilla toffee smell dances as a yearning blow.
Breeze scent lets all smile beyond buxom moon.
Weapons were a depiction of violent strife show.
Destiny drew mates the same as a flavor boon.

Bloom spiced the sky, and ovate petals it holds.
Destiny drew mates the same as a flavor boon.
A world of sublime aromas, a white sail unfolds.

My Chandigarh

City beautiful as it is rightly named,
Greener pastures, treetops embrace;
Wider roads, traffic perfectly tamed,
Clean as could be, an absolute grace.

Rich in culture, hospitable and kind,
Draped in passion, the tender hearts;
We, the people, have got lucid minds,
Versatile sunrises give us daily starts.

Merry go rounds mesmerise our kids,
College cafes, pubs fascinate the young;
Beautiful garden where the elderly sits,
Our roots are deep, branches well clung;

History and heritage inspirit true goals
as twilight hymns imbrue into our souls.

Herring Run At Cape Cod Canal

I could not paint a better picture,
Than the one in front of me,
Of twists and turns of the canal,
Bordered by endless trees.

A warm day with a slight breeze,
Giving the grass moving shadows of leaves,
Multiple species of birds stop by,
Some on the ground, some in the sky.

Gulls, Terns and Cormorants dive,
For crustaceans and fish of various size,
While sparrows, robins and occasional chickadees,
Grab insects on the fly.

Parades of boats, barges and ships,
Fascinate and entertain our time,
Sitting by the canal is more than a pastime,
It's watching life at its prime.

Fishermen, bicyclists, joggers and tourists,
They enjoy this special place,
Taking it all in; they embrace,
Nature at its purest!

Touch

rebuilding broken hearts

Sing

Premium Member Murmuration of Starlings High

Murmuration of starlings high. I’m high!
Low stars twinkling with wings. The trumpet’s call!
As winds of war, incline, in warm wind sigh,
the flock, a shock, sans enemies appall.

These friends do fascinate, heard like bombers,
like Japanese over unsuspecting
Pearl Harbor fight ~ these darling bird-balmers.
The nudge of melodic buzz, quite affecting.

Not of national consequence, abuzz
not with politicking but peace of soul -
remains of war pittance, the scrawling-t’was.
My awesome sight, this di’mond-bling of coal.

Mere humans offer crumbs ~ my heart flaps wings.
With murmurs high and low, communion springs.

Consistency

"Consistency"

Contemplate, debate hate
Rate state magistrates
Mate great fates
Wait....date late
Deflate straight weight
Emancipate inmate traits
Dissipate irate gates
Indicate! Investigate! Litigate!
Incarcerate? Degradate? Incinerate?
Rejuvenate! Captivate! Demonstrate!
Innovate! Motivate! Fascinate!
Anticipate! Dedicate! Articulate!
Communicate....congratulate....exonerate
Infiltrate....penetrate....interrogate
Implicate! Detonate! Annihilate!
Separate? Segregate? Disintegrate!

Torturous separation. Intellectual blindness.

How your brilliance and intellectual dominance fascinate me.
Looking into your baby eyes wide and blue, I still see your knowing awareness, high voltage connections.
You laughed as a baby, with me, or at me?

How quicky did you discover our world's stupidity? When did your broken heart shear your funny bone, too?

Have you not yet accepted terms of this life, clicked the check box and exposed your vulnerability? Will you acceed to your lack of control? Will you reach out to the only concrete anchor we have? Will you embrace the lonely hopeless souls looking for the same relief you are desperate to know?

We all walk the same funeral march into our graves. Won't you pick up a piece of love, entertain some forgiveness, and carry some peace on the way to your certain destiny?

The Nature of I

If I was a tree....
Would you sit by my side,
Write poetry,
Seek shelter in the rain?

If I was a river....
Would you bathe your spirit,
Drift aimlessly,
Dive to the depths of emotion?

If I was a sunrise....
Would you rise up to greet,
Find inspiration,
Fascinate in hues of color?

If I was the wind....
Would you feel the touch,
Breathe life,
Dance to the howl of my song?

If I was a star....
Would you tell your secret,
Make wishes,
Guide yourself back home?
