The Nature of I
If I was a tree....
Would you sit by my side,
Write poetry,
Seek shelter in the rain?
If I was a river....
Would you bathe your spirit,
Drift aimlessly,
Dive to the depths of emotion?
If I was a sunrise....
Would you rise up to greet,
Find inspiration,
Fascinate in hues of color?
If I was the wind....
Would you feel the touch,
Breathe life,
Dance to the howl of my song?
If I was a star....
Would you tell your secret,
Make wishes,
Guide yourself back home?
