Alabaster Sky

The night unfolds her velvet veil
Paints the heaven with alabaster clouds 
They drift like ghosts, whispers of air 
Dancing in rhythm with the moon’s beam
Its silver glow, serene and calm
Rolls gently over vales and hills
The stars, like gems gleam
In the sky, a cloth with sequin glitter 
The earth, entranced by nature’s quiet beauty 
Pauses as

The Mask of Black Spinel

Frice the week along with night had fallen to sleepless slumber,
Trapped again 'tween times when thirds are three in number.

I sense a grimace gurgle in these halls of boned wall,
The aching whims and shaking limbs: Myself, a wretched thrall. 

Discomfort settles in the neurons pinned into this dermal moist regalia:
The trap of mind on pointless

Alabaster Box

She saw through tear filled eyes
The kindness in his own
She heard the witness of
The miracles he'd shown
But her past was full of sin
Of brokenness and shame
That made her so afraid
To call out Jesus name
So instead, to show her love
She knew she'd have to start
By letting go of sin and self
By giving him her heart.

The Alabaster Jar

The Alabaster Jar 
Being
Manifested by all the universe
Accepting the gift of love
Tiny steps, holding a blue alabaster jar
with promises, love, peace, joy, and togetherness.

Spring
The cold, dark winters give way to spring.
Sunny, warm days, the chirping of birds
New life, new friendships
Laughter, happiness, and bonding
The alabaster jar still held everything—precious moments yet to unfold.
Like a lamb frolicking

Alabaster Porcelain on a Ghost

The diaphanous hush whispers of the nightshade, 
float upon petals red breeze, 
like the ethereal crypt sigh of a crimson lachrymose fountain vein,
fully opening - to release;

Here I'm a flock both unkindness ore murder, 
vortices ghastly galleons in the shadows, 
conjuring forth fore the damned, 
manifestation of the damned-to-be, 
drawing all into the benthic depths

Alabaster Gowns

Winter arrives on a snowflake
tumbling down from the skies above.
For Earth is set for a remake;
that calls for a labor of love.

Whitewashing a littered landscape,
Autumn's dead get shrouded in white.
For streaming down like ticker tape;
snow swiftly buries all in sight.

Ice crystals conceal Fall's decay;
creating a fairyland scene.
And tucked into Winter's duvet;
Nature appears pristine and clean.

Alabaster Bursts of Heaven

Crimson's luster illuminates a brilliant bead  
satin strokes of beauty a bottle bleeds  
scratch softly across this barren chest  
and along with moonbeams, shall you rest  

Silver streaks of goodness held in place  
passion's pure pleasure soon will trace  
circle past tiny smudges born in haste  
where one

Lightworkers

Light workers ! Melt orange sediment 
For homes without leaks
Our hot hearts and hands
Becoming liquid stars

Lord of lavender and laughs
Bring the turquoise serpent here
Put before us bread and cheese 
Mould flexible our knees 

Light workers ! Walk quietly along
Corridors of Stone
To find the alabaster jar in your
Sun of suns

Work your will and wisdom
Become flames across

Alabaster Sky

I.  The coming storm…

Looking into the distance along a windswept beach. Feeling the vast vault of alabaster sky. High! Feeling the cooling winds, as the waves crash and the clouds boil. 

The dark horizon grows as the lightning lances. I feel the coming tomorrows, the things best left undone, unseen, unknown. For I see

Alabaster Skin

Fragile as alabaster white dry as your sin 
so sweet I want to caress to cradle and suffocate.

I feel that dry course texture of alabaster 
and sin, the skin you are in, I feel the sand in my teeth…

The tang of its bitter taste the smell of parchment
dry as desolations rage, I recoil at the

Alabaster White

Alabaster white, brazen in bold 
can’t be bought or sold!

Silent as it is Sinister 
somehow that alabaster glows?

Surface, a bony texture; cracks, fissures 
like something living once long ago 
in antediluvian halls…

A house sits in its red marrow, bone-white walls!
not knowing tomorrow only knowing what is heralded 
of bone white, gold intricate 
filagree serpentine, imagery!

there's no lingering hush
in this morning's bold blush
through alabaster trees
befalls a whistling breeze

it wraps me in its cold
like frozen thoughts of old
yet warmth becomes anew
