Sam, It amazes me that some birds mate for life and are so faithful to each other and have such distress when their mate dies. So humanlike or is the other way around we humans are like them since God made humans last. Sara

Even with their crazy name and all of the inferences to looniness, loons are amazing birds, with lovely haunting calls that echo on summer nights in the moonlight!
