I am placing below a pleasant message received from President Barack Obama in response to My Poem “You Have Touched Our Hearts Mr. President” placed on Poetry Soup on 27^th Jan.2015.

I am grateful to President Obama for reading and responding the sentiments of millions and millions of people of my country, who have similar views for creating strong and mutually beneficial relations with United States for the general good of India and US and the entire world.

Thank you once again for appreciating my Poem and my sentiments expressed in the Poem Mr. President. With kind regards and best wishes for you and all the peace loving people of America.

I'm happy for U my friend... I wrote to the president (staff) About 6 months ago. I got the help and guidance I needed. A little more than I ask for. I got letters from the governor himself. After a while, I was tripping. LOL, Anyways..... I am so happy and I know they read and answer many letters daily. CONGRATULATIONS..... Always A TRUE FAN.... POET D

Thanks dear friend for your kind words on my Blog. He is definitely a very unique leader and a favorite of millions. In ancient India, we used to have rulers, who always gave great respects and considerations to thoughts and ideas of Poets, but in the modern world such leaders are very rare. Perhaps he has made an example for the world leaders to keep some space for Poets and Writers in their visions. Priceless is this, the poetry and the man who shows he cares, reminds me of New Zealand and Australia, where still the politicians can relate to everyday society, but then there is the uk, public school destroyed all that years ago...
