Time For a Change

Thank you to all that are here on the soup, you have helped me so much and have been a great group. I have taken all your comments and kind words to heart, now it is up to me,to make a fresh start. It's time for me to reach out and seek GOD'S hand, listen closely to his words, and try to understand. I know I can't change, unless I put up a fight, it is now time for me, to make things right. Every morning I wake, I will reach for a goal, say a prayer, and cleanse my soul. Don't think I didn't listen,to all the advise you gave to me, I know that love and prayer, will be what sets me free. DEDICATED TO ALL YOU SOUP MEMBERS WHO WERE THERE FOR ME!! YOUR SOUPER FRIEND COLLEEN

I heard John Astin sing a song today in church; "No wave ever leaves the ocean; nothing that arises ever escapes the sea; there can be no returning to what we've always been." The imagery reminds us that even when we seem to wander off, or forget, or deny, or resist, the essential truth of our being is that we are a wave in the Great Ocean of God's Love. I find that comforting. This is a beautiful poem Colleen. You've turned your gaze back to Truth. Remember-Praise, Gratitude, Love, Compassion
