I was just passing by the side of the house
When a thorn
On a winter rose bush
Snagged my coat
I walked on without thought
But then I’d swear a summer ghost spoke
That sudden sense
As though a scarlet petal brushed my hand
As though its breath warmed my face
Ah memory in the snow

Memories are ment to come and go. But to feel one come to life .That is the memory we do not want to let go. I would also like to thank You . YOU are so right on the poets not communication, or thanking thoes who comment their work. Thank you for not being one of them. Your poetry is a pleasure to read.

Beautiful expressions and memories taking shape in a brilliant poem. So nicely said. Absolutely wonderful. Last four lines are amazing. Sometime back I wrote a little similar idea in my poem ‘Autumn and its falling leaves'. Hope you would find it interesting. Sorry I could not read more of your poems till now but shortly I will read them. Best wishes and love... Ravindra......Daver Austin
