A Souprise for this year---

Note: For those who are not used to me, and as a warning of my wordiness, if you don't have time to read this entire blog, kindly scroll waaaay down to see the shorter version (green text, so easier on the eyescheeky). Thank you. Hopefully though that whoever is that thoughtful person who surprised me would read this in its entirety. Thank you again.

 

Imagine my surprise the other day when I saw something in my email.... a notification from Soup, thanking me for purchasing a PM. Hmmm, it wasn't me, though.

Which leads to to this blog--somebody's been sneaky and anonymously gave me one! Wow! I was not expecting anybody to do this for me. Several years ago, there were 2 other "Soup Angels" as I call them, who purchased my PM for me. And now this year, I have another Soup Angel. 

Thank you very much to special yousmiley! You are so generous and thoughtful to do this for me, and I am really touched that you would give me this PM blush.

I actually have an inkling on who it might be...I may be wrong, but somehow, my gut instinct tells me it's that person (someone who I've seen has shown wonderful support to a lot of Soupers.. .). If it is really that particular angel, I am even more touched, because I know that they're going through something major, yet still spared much of their precious time to do this for somebody like me...You are a prime example of generosity and you serve as an inspiration to me.

Let me apologize to you right now though because of the very high possibility of me not being able to maximize this PM. I'm really sorry....  I am not really active here anymore, and this year--let's just say: gulp, gulp, gulp (I'm a fish--a crazy fickle one at that-- a monkey_mushroom_fish hybrid)..

I will try though, to post some blogs here and there-- I completely appreciate the 6000 character count (you have no idea how this is very ideal for very super wordy wordy people like myself~)-- I just hope I do get to write something decent eventually, plus the added perk of opting out of the sister sites is a very, very cool thing...

Regarding hosting contests-- Uh.OH. Oh. UH. Maybe, maybe not. Depends really if I have time and energy--which will be most likely not, >.< sorry. I really don't know. I might. Or not. Sighs. I put up too headache-y contests before anyway..

I guess what I just really want to say is... to my Soup Angel this year, my heartfelt thank you. It's been more than 3 years since I last became a PM and this was really a surprise for me. At a time when I am more scatterbrained than I usually am, when I'm feeling down and doubtful with some things in my life, mostly with myself, really...you gifting me with this PM goes beyond the Soup for me. It's so much more than that. Somehow, it comes across to me as something about you seeing something in me that is worth giving this membership. I know I may not use it fully, and for that I apologize, but the gesture itself truly lifted me up. My heartfelt thank you. May God bless you more and your wonderful family. Continue to be such a strong inspiration to so many here. May love, courage, hope and happiness continue to flow in your life, as well as those of your loved ones. If I could, I'd really be hugging you right now laughheart 

 

** Update--ask and you shall receive answers...I asked if it could be and it IS! Silly me, forgot to ask if it's ok that I name them here (eep, I hope it's ok that I'm basically revealing who ___ is when I have no go signal), but I think most of you know already... like what I said in some of my replies below, rhymes with 'know' wink ... I can't help it, I just had to say in some way, so others will know how much of an inspiration and angel _____ is! Sorry, Soup Angel if I rambled too much about this-- me and my rambling mouth.

Aha, at ba't gising ka pa, nette? Haha or maaga ka nagising? (ok for those who didn't understand that and was curious, I was just wondering whether nette was still awake or woke up early)...I actually have tried to purchase online, and thankfully ok naman. Nikko, my lifetime membership was a gift also from a real angel above, our Linda-Marie, and see what that gift created, I was a girl writing lines and now I am a poet doing forms and rhymes, there are some truly wonderful members of this site, I have no idea who your angel is but I thank her/him for their kindness and generosity, people like that are what make this site great ~

Hi Constance! Yes, Linda-Marie is definitely an angel, and you're so blessed that she gave you a lifetime membership, all the more that you two were so close. I really do miss her, she was a sparkling gem here on Soup-- there was a different vibe when she was here... I think you have really blossomed as a writer :) and what you say here is so true-- people who do these kinds of things truly are angels, and make this site wonderful, giving much inspiration.

I have an idea who the PM fairy is and she needs all our support and prayers at the moment. I got gifted my PM - what an incredible gift - and it has made me strive my hardest with my poetry and creativity to make my benefactor proud of what I have achieved. Eep, well let's just say that I will try my best to make use of it-- my time especially this year is limited >.< ... even just with blogs, I'd love to post some blogs here and there... will also continue to keep my eyes peeled for updates...
