Contest Description

What to Submit?

1. ONE limerick on the subject of winter ice or snow ( make them fun and entertaining) the words snow or ice do not have to be in your poems.

2. Please follow the limerick form here on PS. I am more interested in syllable counts than meter but it should rhyme well. 

3. Lines 1, 2 and 5 should have the same syllable counts and rhyme.

4. Lines 3 and should have the same syllable counts and rhyme.

5. NEW POEMS ONLY, written no sooner than today's date.

6. They can be bawdy but try to keep them pg-13. 

7. Please date them.

Prizes

There will be multiple placements.

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
