That's interesting... I get the orthopedic connection here (although not the musical one). Thanks, Jan.

Thanks for honoring this lim with a placement, Tania. It's the only non-artificial lim Grandpa Jones has left! lol. Take good care, Gershon

G’day Gershon … Gramps could have done an extra somersault to make it an even thirty bones Gershon. Don’t know why he’s groaning; we’re all chuckling - Happy New Year Gershon - Lindsay

Those were his last 29 bones... Now Jones is 'broke,' literally and figuratively... Thanks for your clever comment, Lindsay! Peace, Gershon

As you live in the Windy City, one hopes you are not trying to keep up with the Jones! Aloha! Rico

At least Gramps is 'hip' with all those 'devices' -- some of which are on his artificial hip. lol. Thanks, Kim!

Great composition in poetic form. It has good flow, rhyme and rhythm. I am sure Grandpa's rhythm has slowed somewhat. Falls in the elderly are not funny for sure. I fell getting out of the bath tub with water in the tub and broke my pelvis in two places. It was like hairline fractures though. It was painful for a few months. Thanks for the visits to my page. Ouch!! I'm amazed it was painful for 'only' a few months I can't (yet) imagine breaking my pelvis in even one place... I myself fell two weeks ago, right on my face -- hard -- and miraculously didn't even break my glasses or anything else. Had a couple of whopper 'raspberries' and colorful bruises, and a few aches for a week... I'm lucky I didn't have a concussion... Here's to staying upright, you and I both!!! HNY! :) gw

I've just discovered what 'black ice' is. I don't know that they call it 'black ice' in Chicago. Might start a race riot or something. lol. Anyway, we'll have some tomorrow probably. ~ Slippin' and Slidin'
