Notes About The Poem

Slips and Trips

It was freezing so, and cold winds did blow
As I walked slowly through the fallen snow
But I slipped on some ice
 My keister paid the price
Tried getting up, but down again I'd go

haha, I just about wrote one like this. I remember a tall boy from church who fell on ice in front of me many years ago. I later heard he had a crush on me, so now I know why his face got super red when he fell like that. poor guy. I think by now he is must be nearly 70. I heard he married a wonderful woman back in iowa!
