Looking Up At Cloud Nine
As I stood there looking to the sky,
I felt so small, the stars seemed bigger than I.
The expanse of darkness hiding the moon,
Clouds were sleeping as the darkness loomed.
I stood there and prayed to the Lord,
God please fix our broken world.
A tear rolled down and brushed my face,
It cried with me and then fell with grace.
I stumbled as I lost my words,
A bright star then shined on our world.
I smiled and felt much bigger,
God had something to do with that,
It's what I had figured.
Never again will my star dim from within,
I'll stay on the path, and walk with him.
