TEARS FROM AN ANGEL
I awoke to foggy windows,
there were raindrops tapping softly.
The trees were swaying to the rhythm,
I fell ill from melancholy.
The sky was so dark,
it had made angels cry.
Strong winds rushed in,
grey clouds blew by.
I felt my strength fading fast,
My head had found its pillow again.
I layed back down with no regrets,
I covered up and settled in.
My life was gloomy,
all thoughts were grim.
I thought of ending myself,
but I knew it was a sin.
As I layed there feeling heavy pity,
I heard the raindrops fading away.
I looked out my window it was bright,
the sun was shining with a new light.
I believe it was a sign from God,
telling me to never give up,
and that the angel's tears were raindrops,
visiting me with encouraging thoughts.
