This Poem Is A Metaphor. " Dedicated To My Daughter And All Those Who Have Struggled With Addictions.

She had seen, the other side, of heaven. Where she walked a narrow bridge, between purgatory, and eternal life. She's not religious, and no she's not, Insane. She dug her own grave, In sinful soils, with lost souls just like her. I watched the darkest, of clouds, gathering my pain. I sailed on the harsh winds, that blew in, with bright lightning and claps of thunder. Then prayed for God, to release, the rain. Yes, I have seen, the other side, of hell. Let her temptation, be put, asunder. I pray that she never crosses, that narrow bridge, again.
