HEAVEN'S SCENT

My candle was always burning at both ends,
It'll be snuffed out by mornings light,
Where its warmth and fragrance went,
That is where I'll soon be sent.

My angel will descend,
Grandma I'll see you soon,
I'll walk through God's front door,
Smell your fragrance and feel the warmth.

God will hold me very close,
He'll wipe away all my tears,
I'll never feel this pain again,
And my angel wings will grow.
