"I exist as I am, that is enough,
If no other in the world be aware I sit content,
And if each and all be aware I sit content."
Walt Whitman

"Every day, every now, is a basket of possibility, yet so many of us scream at [our] eyes not to see this gift and to waste our moments of "now" by ciphering and dividing and accounting and chasing false value, mistaking money for happiness, mistaking accounting for living."

Eric Forsythe (comment on Walt Whitman's 'Song of Myself')

I'm happy to have found this site. I'm transferring a lot of my work here, so I apologize if I'm sending out too many poems. I appreciate everyone who reads or comments on my work, but just trying to gather all my stuff in one place.

I look forward to reading your poetry as well.

I like to use my photos or the Greeting Card feature on this site to emb my poems. A special thank you to YvonneU for paying for my membership so that I can add photos.

You won't find any sonnets or traditional metered verse here. I'm also not verbose, so succinct is my middle name. Too many words annoy me.
