Indulging in insightful introspection
Not always aware where mind's eye will venture
Thoughts wander along winding theoretical byways
Revealing vast open spaces of universal truths
Optimizing previous personal experiences
Segregating fact from fiction
Perceiving past choices as my personal signature
Equating my uniqueness as priceless
Crying over past failures no longer suits me
Today holds the gift of life without perfection
Inwardly knowing and understanding
