ADD disempowering despair
of stealthy stupid kleptocracy,
pitching Red against Yellow
Black against White
liberal SkyBlue

Mt Zero-Sum

The Mountain 
looms
and calls your name
To glory
or 
perdition

Its summit
has a thousand
fathers
Whose abyss
awaits

Me One Clock Zero

There is a clock on the wall
She has been stuck at one-thirty-three for two years
I stare at her, loving it that she can no longer tick
Her ticking irritated me
Because I am ADHD
I felt all-powerful taking out her battery

Below Zero

Bare branches and frosted limbs, 
reflect how we both feel within, 
it seems these days, our love is all but alive

Her smile is warm, but her shoulder's cold,
just as the sun still shines below zero, 
and it seems these days our love is all just a lie

Words that escape our trembling chins,

Love thought she was best
berry fruit from which fragrant

Puppy Won Me Zero

puppy fights the broom when I get it out
I try to scoot him but he weighs sixty-five pounds
He does not budge
sits down on the pile I was trying to get up
chews on my plastic dustpan
rolls onto his back, smashing the mess into the rug
prevents me from cleaning up his messes every day
a dance I do
