I tried to cut my toenails, but I couldn't bend.
It gets harder and harder the nearer the end.
And there's just no hope for a remedy.
Your body's becomes the enemy ~
and death a yearned for friend.

Inner World Of A Tormented Mind

Like a dust that has been blown away
If I only had the chance to really say
But I can only stand on the dock of a bay
Within this soul there is a empty world inside
With no one near or anybody far
Not even a single wound or a mere scar
No love, hate or pride
Just a place where I can hide
Cry alone, sit down and gaze at the sky
A perfect world brought on by my mind
Strange that this is not the same outside
If only my mind could let me blend in
Release this soul from the pain
Like the person who was just born again
If I only had the chance to really say
But just like the dust
I've been blown away
Away from the breath of life
Stuck inside this world made up by my mind
A silent peaceful lonely world, island paradise
But I doubt this is the reality I yearned for
This soul just want to go outdoors
Be free and discover the meaning of the real world
But just like the dust
I've been blown away

Premium Member Leading Life Being Heartbroken

‘Treasures of my heart were scattered to be lost when heart was broken’
   -Poet

Leading life with my broken heart
On your reluctance I am hurt.
Yet my door of heart is not shut.

      Cool calm colourful soft serene
Pure holy humble heart of mine,
yearned for your heart to entwine !

      With dreamy desire I expect
      In future, you'll reciprocate :
May happen soon or may be late.

Yet some day you must show your love
My broken heart, you may observe.
You will admit what I deserve.

What you feel or think about me
       I can’t apprehend, I’m sorry.
To accept me or not, you’re free.

Sweetheart, though my heart is broken,
Dear, always my heart is open :
Any time you enter my zone.

My heart is broken, I love you
Heart is aching, I am in rue.
         Yet I can’t say ' Adieu '.

Premium Member A golly whopper's catch

There was a young woman who yearned for a mate.
Sadly cat food was all that she ate...
The cans with seafood she clearly favored and from
this diet she never wavered.
Many thought her an attractive gal, in spite of slight
whiskers and her woeful meow.
None dared go close as her breath was so foul..
Come night on a twinkling star she would wish.
At the break of each dawn she'd gargle and swish.
Regardless she always reeked heavily of fish.
She couldn't rid of this seafood scent which seeped
thru her pores and wouldn't relent, so she
moved outdoors and bathed at a brook.
One day she got snagged by a golly whopper hook.

Sagebrush Sam was tired of blowing
His impatience was keenly showing
Always in sandy land that needed no mowing
He yearned for Iowa where it was snowing

Love so warm but heart too cold

The world was gray, a lonely ,dark space,
Where joy had fled, leaving no joyful trace.
They called me kind, a heart of purest gold,
But kindness, it seemed, had grown strangely cold.
They'd praise my soul, then turn and walk away,
Ignoring me, day after endless day.
I yearned for solace, a hand to hold so tight,
But found only shadows in the fading light.
Now, in your embrace, I find release at last,
My one last hope, my love will forever last.

The Final Beat

He sat in the street, reaching out for support.
He did not shout or sing or beg.
He looked and smiled and shivered,
shaking in his cardboard bed.

The snow came down, December time,
cascading softly through the air.
But winter’s chill brings ringing bells—
no space for him, no mercy there.

No warmth tonight, no place to go,
the shutters down, the bitter bite.
He pulled his coat, so thin and worn,
and yearned for times before the scorn.

On Christmas Day, he sat stock still,
as voices bustled down the street.
A world alive with cheer and song,
but none could hear his slowing beat.

And when they came to wish him well,
to toss a coin, to share some cheer,
he sat stock still—his breath was gone.
His final beat.
His final beat.
His final beat.

Icy feelings

Icy feelings, anger’s chill, a heart turned to frost,
Old maidens tossing on wide beds, feeling lost.
Perhaps they can't sleep through the long, lonely night,
As the cold winds of longing drift through their sight.

Once, in her youth, that old maid had her grace,
Caught in the joys of those days, in a blissful embrace.
She’d scoff at the suitors who came to her door,
To build a life together, she yearned for much more.

This tale of old maidens is seen far and wide,
How long will green leaves in their glory abide?
One day the cold winds will chill to the bone,
And in time, they too must face growing alone.

With each passing moment, their beauty will fade,
In the mirror of life, their youth's price is paid.
Your offspring, like leaves, will surround you with cheer,
But time leaves a gap in the heart, it’s clear.

I feel this cold chill in my own heart as well,
Struggling to sleep, in my thoughts I do dwell.
No one else can heal the deep pain that you bear,
If you don't seek the remedy, who will care?

Dartura

I drew burning stars
Around her jagged scars
I had never seen embers burn as bright
As hers did into that endless night
As she bloomed
I seen her light
I gazed upon it
Basking in her unparalleled beauty
I yearned for her
Yet she was just out of reach
I will wait for you my sweet
I whispered into that dark night
For one day we shall be together
And all will be alright

Just One Wish

They live my dream,
Wishes I have secretly had,
Hope that filled my longing eyes.
That I too, one day, will go
Where those who claim less privilege go
The place of tranquility,
Or perhaps chaotic.
I care not for what it may be,
But for the joy that would fill my heart,
Which has yearned for decades,
For death to eventually grace my life.
But there they lay,
Their grandparents lay there,
And they wail, Why has God taken her so soon?
My wish is met with their tears.
Why cry on a joyous day?
Why wail for the departed?
They've gone to a better place,
Where the cares of the world don't bother,
A place I heard angels sing eternally.
Their tears, a thorn to my aching heart.
If only they knew how long
I have waited for my moment
When I would lay peacefully
In the termite grave,
And all my pains they would suck away,
And I would be born anew in a new place,
Whether it's heaven or...

Love Story

I was comfortable with our Verbal discourse, at first Reluctantly
Sapiosexual Being, Intellect your speech, I yearned for more
The version of you I placed in my mind, Foolishly
To accommodate my infatuation
I ultimately refused to see, Blindly
I walked to the edge of the cliff with blurred vision
Already emotionally strained, now wounded, Bitterly
And don't know how to feel or how to end the pain
that I inflicted, on myself, Inconsistently
I was wrong, but I will heal
Obligated to Self to be Strong, Mentally
Self Inflicted Torment
Wondering how to escape my Mind, Consciously
Blaming my Sensitivity
Prosecuting My emotions, Emotionally
Being Loved is minimal
I valued the version I created of you, Inaccurately
But now I see, Clearly!
Your Love lacked Support, I was not your Priority
Lesson Learnt! Bridges Burnt!
That Version of Me that Needed the Self Created Version of You
Has Evolved, Balanced on a Scale with a Feather, Peace Profound, Thankfully!

A Journey of Love and Resilience

In the depths of sorrows,
each time we feel,
clueless about
how bad it's gonna be,
when it hits on another day,
an otherwise pleasant one.

In loneliness,
I search everywhere,
even within
the narrowest of ant holes,
for a slender beam of light,
that would lighten up my heart
and melt away my sorrows.

I scoured everywhere
but found no ray of comfort.

Mom,
I traveled miles everyday,
to be with you,
to breathe the air you exhale.
I traveled miles every day,
while others refused
to disrupt their comfort.
I traveled miles everyday
to smell the fragrance
of your presence,
I traveled miles everyday
to dwell in the bubble
of your essence.

I turned to countless faces,
They told me,
"We are not in pain now,
But, we'll come to you,
when we slip into our sorrows".

All I yearned for was
someone to say,
"I am there with you,
together we shall endure it,
through all your hardships.
And if you stumble again,
I'll still be here
until you regain your footing,
spread your wings,
and soar towards the sun".

Shower on me not,
with doom and gloom.
All I need is,
the strength
to fly with my wings,
shielding you all beneath.

Premium Member THE Magic of Love

I look deep into your eyes and
I see the magic I have yearned for.
Thanks for letting me see the light,
When I felt only darkness.
Thanks for allowing us,
To feel that special love, if only,
But a drop in time, at least we lived it.
I never thought I could fall in love,
But you reached into my heart,
And touched my soul.

Love's Oblivion

She wove a tapestry of tender grace,
A silken thread of affection's embrace.
He, a tempest, a tempestuous soul,
Cast shadows deep, beyond control.
She, a beacon, radiant and bright,
Bathed him in the aureate light
Of her devotion, pure and true,
But he, oblivious, sailed through.
He, an incubus, a fleeting guise,
Lured her with illusory skies.
She, with an albatross of adoration,
Yearned for a flight, a love above.
But he, a maelstrom, dark and deep,
Dragged her down to the ocean's keep,
Where hope, a fragile, opalescent gleam,
Drowned in the abyss of his cold, cruel dream.

Beautiful Soul

Beautiful Soul

His voice, his face, his body, his attitude
All expressions of great beauty
Loved by many, adored by many, hated by many
Few really knew his inner beauty they just seen his looks
Looks so beautiful, so adoring, so seductive.
Women flocked to him by the thousands wanting him, yearning for his touch, his words of love and commitment
Few got it-few understood his real soul
The darkness that filled it, that showed him their true intentions
He yearned for his soul mate, the one who loved him the most
His inner demons, his flaws, his imperfections
He seen her in a photo and knew
She was his and he was hers
Only when he dared to go outside of his comfort zone was he able to touch her
When they touched sparks flew, the sky opened up with light and warmth
Excitement and warmth filled their bodies as they touched looking seductively in each others eyes
Only then as he looked into her beautiful eyes did he realize the soul he had been searching for was not one of outside beauty
But inside beauty, beauty that would show him pure love, trust, comfort, and extreme joy
