Clyde yearned for a kiss 'neath the mistletoe

Obsessed

He wasn’t mine
Yet he was mine
He yearned for me
Same way I yearned for him
But he didn’t notice
And so didn’t I see

He was close
Yet far from close
It felt right
Though it wasn’t right
Buried within me
Will he be

Premium Member Long Have I Yearned

Long have I yearned for you.
The feel of your arms around me.
You bodies heat seeping into mine.
It is a thirst that will not be quenched.
To have you for just one night,
that it might slake my fevered need,
I fear would be as putting oil on a fire.

I Love You

I crossed all the lines
Left my whole world behind
Over and over I cried and cried
Virtually at some point I died
Every thing I did or at least tried
Yearned for your love far and wide
Only to prove thing you never knew
Until I made you believe that I love you

The students in my classrooms were deeper than the rest! They yearned for knowledge only, and I, their prof, felt blessed. This was my giddy thought when my first class I taught… until I heard the ditty: "Will this be on the test?”

Premium Member Laid To Rest

I had yearned for it all my life
That simple gesture
That finally healed
The open wound
That for years
Bled
In a silent stream
That fell Between
The cracks in
You and me
When with a gentle sigh
You looked
Into my eyes
Held my hand
And kissed my fingertips
The day
Before you died

Not To Be

long haired blue eyed doll
in a shop window displayed
the child yearned for it

the mother noticed
her face showed melancholy
not enough money

the big doll stays put
she took her sad child by hand
looking back crying

at home she daydreamed
the mother baked her a cake
the girl smiled and ate

I Forgive You

I tried my best
to solve the problem like quest
I yearned for days
But Let's just part ways
I hold no grudge
knowing you won't budge
sometimes things don't fit
so we will just split.
My anger is very hard to deal
so I forgive you hope it heal

Premium Member THE Magic of Love

I look deep into your eyes and
I see the magic I have yearned for.
Thanks for letting me see the light,
When I felt only darkness.
Thanks for allowing us,
To feel that special love, if only,
But a drop in time, at least we lived it.
I never thought I could fall in love,
But you reached into my heart,
And touched my soul.

You & Me

Remember you and me
We used to sit at the park
Talking with our coffee
Till they threw us out

We’d share laughter’s smile
So many wonderful nights
It was wrong but we didn't care
When I put my arm around you

Something out of the ordinary
Something out of our control
Amazing in its rare form
Something we both yearned for
