Santa clause get me hope for xmas, since its hard for my mind and heart to hope again. Magicians perform me tricks to overcome ths dissapointment and shock, I jst can't bear no more. Scientist discover in me once again, trust and strength to live with this world horrors.
In me, I know not how to react to this devastation, human in collision, both young and old's life in shambles. There's no level or meassurements to curb this might of distress and dispair, its just spilled waters and milk everywhere, hopeless!
In which part of this Earth can I locate reset button, are there any archeologist to help me trace biblical authors's graves and tombs? maybe through them my grievences will reach to God

This peace and tranquil
I'm now feeling within
Soothing and serene
Hope forever will
Remain through fully
This journey called life
With all its bitter strife
Alone, but not lonely.
'Cause its Him and I
Always and forever
As a child and father
Till the day I die.
As i sit meekly amidst
His awesome creation
I know He'll never shun
My not-so-little wish list
That I've scribbled through
Many seasons and ages
On tearful nights of pages
Collecting dust and dew.
An outstretched hand
A quivering prayer
Is all I need to offer
For Him to make it grand.
Though the way forward
Seems long and grueling
But as a little Godling
Doesnt feel as hard.
Every petal blooming slowly
Each caressing breeze
And beams from the canopies
Speak of His undying mercy.
We make the perfect duo
Sharing laughter and tears
So I shush down all my fears
With the loudest 'In exelcis Deo'.
My wish list is to flow,
free fall into an artistic vibe;
My wish list is to travel
to a new place one too many times;
My wish list is a yacht
complete with a private driver;
My wish list is to learn to sail,
they’ll become my instructor;
My wish list is to be that girl,
the one in the front row of the show;
My wish is to meet the stars,
of course they will already know me
from reading all of my poetry;
My wish list may seem convoluted,
I’m a writer that’s how I see;
My wish list has a fate that’s open,
the spark is who sit’s with you in silence;
My wish list is bigger than me
it was built to gorge on everything;
My wish list is why I adore you,
how you listen propels my dreams.
Hope who believes – bringing peace
Dreams coming true, beautiful joys
Arising in the promises of
Tomorrows who sigh in remembrance
Laughter and lasting love,
Feelings that flow from above…
Faith that fulfills and inspires
Hearts to know kindness that is alive,
Like the music that silences
Darkness and abides inside those
Who know that His love is the light
Filling the shadows with life,
Freeing the soul from its night
Assuring the spirit that there is time
To grow in grace and generosity
With love, abiding in the soul –
Guiding the feelings and the joys,
Reassuring with inspiration so alive
Bringing life to the ones who feel like
They’re dying on the inside…
My wish list for this coming year –
Is to find the hope, faith and love to hush
Every tear, all the fear, bringing cheer
And a peace that seems like the echo of
A prayer, a praise, a voice raised….
To the skies where sun and stars agree
Life is best when it is shared with these three…
Hope, faith and love – forever lasting in harmony
I would wish for you
the petals of a rose
with gilded thorns.
Roots to rival the dandelion,
deep and undeterred.
A soft yellow joy of spring Jonquils.
The tenacity of a vine
Searching
for the unknown.
A gentle purring
of a distant kitten
content in its moment.
The growl
of a restrained puppy
unsure of its limits.
The faith of a mother Robin
in the fledgling’s ability.
Enough doubt
to make you cautious.
Sufficient wisdom
to make you question
all doubt.

Health, wealth, success, grandeur, and happiness,
Name, fame, status body-mind homeliness;
Family, friends, love, and self-fulfillment,
Thoughts, words, and actions purity movement...
Within the heart of the ninth clouds floating,
Through mysterious Milky-way boating;
I want to have in each realm my own say,
This has been my trance-mad daydreaming way...
My soul leads me through divine love and joy,
Betwixt fact and fancies I often coy;
Elegant hills, vales, and landscapes I see,
A drop of mighty seas I want to be...
Pains seep in like water into cracked walls,
The deep within depths toward fullness calls;
Self and ego like snake and mongoose clash,
Holiness, yet, like lava waves does splash...

Feel the rhythm of heart bliss beat
Suffusing us from head to feet
As a receptor of God’s grace
We wish to meet Him face to face
Savouring soma nectar sweet

Born alone,
A lonely life,
Perhaps
Lonely at death
despite the family.
Cost of living is so high
That you are loved
For what you can give
Not for what
you might take.
My wish list
Does not include
Items of physical
pleasures,
but such things
As love, laughter
and affection.
I wipe the mist
On the window
Bare hand
To see outside.
Waiting alone,
For my children
To come home
for christmas!
Dear Mr. / Ms. Presidential Candidate
A preliminary wish list, I hereby state...
Dogs that do not bark
Coastal beaches without sharks
Skunks that have no smell
Adults who never yell
Blue skies, never overcast
Perfect Spring days that last
Airplane seats with lots of room
Sermons without gloom and doom
Desserts without calories
A big increase in salaries
Year-round gentle breezes
No more coughs or sneezes
No more gun deaths, no more shootings
An end to all environmental polluting
Summer camp instead of school
In every park a swimming pool
Potatoes that don't need peeling
Love without hurt feelings
Wasps and hornets without stingers
Kisses that forever linger…
If anything here gives you pause
I'll just have to vote for Santa Claus
There's no way to go back, sometimes I wish there was,
we'd pluck out the highlights, just simply because;
I'm not going to give a catalogue, a long moan,
rather some reflections, when being home-alone.
It makes you chuckle, give a 'whew,' a smile too,
extract what you can, keep some gems in your armoury;
there will be other times to lighten up your day,
when you may remember what some others had to say.
They congratulated you, so good looking, so cool,
got away with eveything, you were never anyone's fool;
although, you were smart, intuitive, you didn't hold 'court,'
rather, listened, used all the things that you were taught.
Maybe that's it - learned so much along the way,
you were the star, the main character in the play.
I want the sun
Served on a dish of silver and gold
Carved by the skilled hands of Hephaestus.
Pick up Mount Olympus
Place it down at my feet
Adore me in all heavenly glory.
Take all the sea salts to powder my hair
Make the lilies not die at night
Take the perfume of the roses and make it mine.
Scoop all the stars from the night sky
Embroider them on a dress of gentle silk
Give it to me with slippers made of glass.
Make all creation sing to me
birds, sea, creatures and legendary beings
Give all of this to me in exchange for my love.
I launch a gold grenade in the green plains
Await to see its explosion into a beautiful huge ranch
A ranch full of horses and hogs
Imprints of chickens and ducks
Run down by donkeys and dogs
Tumbled by pigs and frogs
Enchanting golden notes of the birds
Huge meadow with rainbow crystallized rain-drops on a lily
Ants and termites engraving their nests
Butterflies and mosquitoes flapping their wings in the clear sky
A lilting wind uttered by flies and bugs
Firelies lit up the sky as the sun sets
Flocks of sheep laying harmonious on the endless pasture.
P.S: I would like to wish all poets on PoetrySoup a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Cheers to endless writing and new adventures
You never would
Have forgotten to
Attend a meeting
I scheduled for you --
Even when it would
Amount to nothing
You were there
Present and trusting
My judgement
Even when I didn't
Deserve it --
Even after I'd
Hurt you.
Today I missed
You more than
I usually do
(Which I do
All the time).
And I think about
How easy it was
To be in your company.
And how fascinating
Every word that you
Uttered seemed to me.
And how fast your
Mind worked.
And how hard you
Tried to be helpful.
To help me.
And I know that
Tonight
Like every single
Other night
Since I failed to
Tell you all of these
Secrets
I'll weep a little
Wishing
You'd find this
Poem...
Then call.
