Wish List

I want to experience freedom like I have no masters
to experience life like time doesn't exist
to live humbly and die gracefully
to accept who I am and be proud
to never cry out loud

Every little simple minute
Seems so much more.
As though it has designs
Within it present from before
When we were tiny dots our
Selves, BEARLY in existence
Favored on the wish list.

Pranks

not just any jokes;
but a humorous prank,
in dirty deeds and actions.
a banana peel for slipping,
a whoopie cushion for surprising.
series of sarcasms for icebreakers,
at last, untold execution of tickling for random giggles.
and maybe a secret diss in your wish list.

If pain was on my wish list what would a profit mean to gain a passion was my confession What would it be? So detained if love was an interest What I often think of how would I be interested If there were no one to love Whose am I?

I Let You Raise Me

I Let You Raise Me

Oopsey daisies!
I let you raise me,
And I ended up
Falling in love.

Minded my business;
You're not on my wish list,
But you were wrapped,
And I opened you up.

You are my present, my future,
And battles of my heart you conquered.
As a gift, All I want....
Is your sweetness
And the inevitable love unknown.

Hope dies last

Wish list grows

Yule lads fast

Cash and cards

Smash and grab

Just one guard

Shots and death

Aims find blood

Cross fires death

?Dear Santa; for my wish list I would really love a bike- If it's not too much trouble Can I also have a kite?' 'I would like a new computer With games and an Ipod phone. I would also like a train set With tracks to fill my home.' 'But Mummy and Daddy are very poor Not much money they said- So if you cannot manage the above Can I have peace on Earth instead?'

To Do List '23

Quieten the mind
dile it down a notch
drown those tears
neglect all fears
speak into existence
be as loud as the excuses
fight for justice
fight for peace,
grant your organs sexual liberty.
Dive in blue waters,
oceans sing songs of tranquility.
Dream, your big dreams
Live, purposefully.

Premium Member Wish List of the Elderly

Born alone,
A lonely life,
Perhaps
Lonely at death
despite the family.
Cost of living is so high
That you are loved
For what you can give
Not for what
you might take.
My wish list
Does not include
Items of physical
pleasures,
but such things
As love, laughter
and affection.
I wipe the mist
On the window
Bare hand
To see outside.
Waiting alone,
For my children
To come home
for christmas!

Words greet the wind
From thoughts unseen

Work now conspire
To flesh attire

Worth waits for time
To usher chimes

Wise words now sum
What soul becomes

Will a wish list
With love as gist

Wine and dine here
Let faith fling cheer

Look beyond things
For love now sings

Weather impasse
Days turn to dust

Gone with the wind
All but within

Premium Member Far Horizon

First intent for a Ballad poem.

As the sight get lost in the horizon
Unfulfilled dreams wither within
Hoping for a better outcome next day.

Months, years, even decades had passed
Leaving behind a trail of untold memories
Changing the page for a promising future.

Endure with strength uneasy moments
Chase with poise each day your wish list
Closing the year with a new you.

Wish List

a love
that's tempered
soft and gentle
sturdy as gravity
transcendental
a love
vast as the ocean
always secure
even in draught
will endure
a love
like music
dissonant or in tune
floating through the sky
like a hot air balloon
a love
rooted garden
natural art
tended with care
hope and heart

but most importantly

a love
with a voice
speaking kind words
even in loneliness
a love
always heard.

Feel the gist
Brief wish list

Love seeds start
Hope bears art

Faith is good
Watch each mood

Joy looks nice
Touch smells spice

Cheer lifts up
Full tea cup

Choice frames voice
Tints crisp poise

Live deep zest
Fest works jest

Spark due chimes
Tryst greets rhyme

Line by line
Awe feels fine

Just be kind
As touch binds

Speak of peace
In fond ease

In Hope

i crave in hope
for things unexpecting
far from the norm
merged in my dreams

who said fantasies were felonies
for then i would have received a death penalty
take my wish list and see for yourself
yes, i know what you want to tell me
"Wild dreams can make you go mad."

but all i feel
is the strength within
a candle lit eternally
a bond of life to fulfill

there's one thing i know
the candle shall never go off
for that strength in heart
shall soar me onwards

Christmas gifts - 2

Knowing the truth of Christmas gifts’ what’s what,
He tells Santa, I’ve nothing what so sought,
Forget all my wish list,
Let me now clear some mist:
I’ll be thankful, whatso you give, or not.

Poet’s note: This is a sequel to ‘Christmas gifts’. Realizing the futility of hoping to get things from his wish list, Dennis has this to say to old Santa when his turn came. No need to say, Santa was nonplussed.

Premium Member On the Periphery of People

On the periphery of people,
who cackle when you bleed.
So hard understanding them.
Nor do they bother to understand me.

I'm the flitting moth, around them.
In their thick black gravity.
Half wanting to be a part of (it)
the other yearns to retreat.

Another year called awkward.
Filled with imperfect fits.
A one-person dance.
To be included is not on my wish list...

On the periphery of people,
it's in my DNA.
To not be a part of anything
Silence is a friend.
