Put on your palmate feet come dance in a flash
you don't need know-how, you don't need cash
if you love to quack
and you got the knack
then let me show you how to do the chicken splash
Walla walla hoo hoo hooray
isn't it a lovely day
Walla walla choobidoo-doo
soon you won't be feeling blue !

Mauricio, the merry moose
in Lanny Locke’s garden let loose.
He munched on mulberries,
chips, chestnuts and cherries.
The produce he poached was profuse!
His cousin, Carol the cute caribou
consumed cucumber, cabbage and cashews;
and Kory the cute koala
wandered down from Walla Walla
bringing broccoli, beans and barbecue!

Little light in my life
Tell me the secret of your shine
Star in my sight
Light of my life
Little notions
Loving devotions
Now I have an appetite
My PLEASURE MEASURED TREASURE
I am jealous with every noxious
Minute the moon glow touches you
Mon amore mon amore mon amore
I am sending gentle tidings your way
To save for another day
Illustrious emotions ideal
Such a feel
Shala walla my dear CASHMERE!
VBR Black Panther!

Mr. Nutty,
you're m'buddy,
you never were a fuddy duddy.
There's a pattern,
you're from Saturn,
they shoulda made you the Green Lantern.
Zen Kabbalah,
Mr. Allah,
did you ever play in Walla Walla?
No one's nicer,
jezus cry sir!,
boogie woogie on a synthesizer!

I'm not in step with the Serious Bards
For me, it's the sillier words that chime
I see quadrangles instead of a yard
Jaunty hootenannies I find sublime
I don't howl or cry out, I ululate
Clip-clop and flip-flop, both such disarmers!
Gummy tutti frutti, please be my date
Phenomenology - what a charmer!
Silly names rule - Truth or Consequences
Walla Walla is a beautiful place
Humpty Dumpty brought down the defenses
Winnie the Pooh is a bear to embrace
Sonnets, free verse, rhymes, limericks, haiku, tomes
Silly words deserve their place in our poems.

KANGA BORA MARI YA ABDALLA
After graduation son of Walla
i lived at a coastal town
where the people so hated the warmth..
they chose to move at nite
in the clothes they were born with..
Son of Walla i was dismayed
I called myself to counsel
and decreed a holy decree
son of my mother
i would not let this profanity- continue
Son of walla i took up a whip
and whip them i did son of walla...
Urging them with strokes of the whip
to know the need- value of clothing up
many a wild lass recieved... strokes of the cane
Son of Walla i brought back respect
to a people who walked unclad
Son of Walla i geuss i did good
Mari ya Abdalla they called me...zealot..
some sneered behind my back.. but manners
imade sure they were taught
at the crack of the whip.. male and female
they feared me.. or was it my whip
son of walla i changed life for a lost people
Kanga Boora Mari ya Abdalla
ubora wa sitara ndo wema wa sitara
that was my message
delivered to a people
who felt warmth
instead of feeling manners

This is a town so nice.
They had to name it twice.
Up here in the Pacific Northwest,
it is a place better than most of the rest.
Nearby grow apples and cherries.
There are also good blackberries and raspberries.
Living in this small city is fun.
It is known as WALLA WALLA, WASHINGTON.

May Day!
I sprout with a surprise springing forth from me today.
Birds sing such a magnificent most pleasurable praise.
I want to be the one He promised soon He would raise.
I will be celebrated all by myself on that God-given day.
I will stand in His Gracious Glory at His appointed Say.
Yesterday will be but a blurring faded haze, life a craze.
He sets my soul on fire and sets my spirit off in a blaze.
I bet I will buzz like a bee zipping by you each May Day!
It is all in a day just for me to say.
Ta! Da! I’d bet you did not realize!
May Day! May Day! I say let’s play!
Walla! I say May Day’s materialize!
Waiting every May Day is loads of fun,
Unbelievably, May Day is never done!

Moving white neon lines,
Trace I.M. Pei’s Bank of China.
Elegant understated rhythm,
Precise and perfect.
Flowing lighted flags of cargo ships,
Behemoths of the world.
Bare bulb strings of pale yellow,
Pulsing to boat engines,
Walla wallas chugg everywhere.
Warship hurricane bows and guns,
Glowing menacingly across,
The surface shimmer from Kowloon.
Coming from a myriad shops.
Checkered patterns from the towers,
On the Hong Kong side.
Rising higher by the day.
Glowing gardens of the rich on old Victoria Peak.
Shining down from splendid views.
And the umbilical for all,
The hardy Hong Kong-Kowloon Ferry,
Plowing foamy paths for 100 years.
Hong Kong Harbor sets the standard,
Just ask anyone.

Fluorescence.
Light steals heat, criminally.
Beep beep beep of a heart lulls
through my sleep.
Morpheus....morpheus.....morpheus....
.....i pray to you.
I look forward to quiet.
Life flight from Walla Walla,
here, to Harborview.
Maybe my judge, or his wife.
Today
tonight
tomorrow.
I look forward to quiet.
I feel him, back to me, curtain a wall
He's accounting.
She fell....a domestic slip,
a coffee table violence,
A felony hidden by vinyl siding.
My handcuffs and guards rotate out.
I look forward to quiet.
"What's wrong?" he asks.
Her monitor protests a beat out of time,
over and over out of time.
Her monitor screams.
I look forward to quiet.
"What's wrong?" he asks like a badgeless officer.
His wife forgot the lub dub lub dub lub dub
cadence everyone forgets until that forgotten
cadence forgets the next, - lub, or, dub.
I look forward to quiet.
"What's wrong!"
Flower flocked nurses work within their own clacking rhythm.
I feel his calluses rip.
I feel his craggy mouth drop,
I feel the straight line whine from her monitor.
I look forward to quiet.
