Life Is But A Trick

Who knows how
Net turns ten
Now own to won
Off arm to mar

The sunshine of four
That rise to grow
Their sheep fur
Just like ours

As long as bride's gown
Unlike a fairy tale bird
Whose ribs are light
Off bid to plead the sky

To help pin its way up
Without its mother's tips
Not to get nip by the wind
Unto the back of the earth

But sheep does go through pains
Often off nap time to rest a while
That span through a hell of lifetime
Cum surviving fitness' coat off cot

In the rain where cold hits softly
In the sun where heat hammers
Year-in year-out, as era unfolds
New pit of hope to upshot stained lint

Before ash fill the hopeful wind
And its ash covers the sky
To shy away graceful breath
Heavenly arc shaped its being

That mirrors mercy; merrily wrapped
Off war but shaped games battling light
To shine a drab dragon fuming to see
The beast of night before dawn nods

I must allow..I am deeply impacted by the demenour, the
Character" of Ink Empress." my expression i feel must be
Expressed.' Or I would view myself.' As a most uncouth
Inversion..' Of appreciation.? And of magnanimity..I would be without redress.'
The most un-sufferable of fools' should I not make note of her calm
And balance.' With great empathy.' Even much sincerity; she is
An epitome of the ' oft overused term' in how to be cool.'

Worthy Upshot

What worthy upshot holds in store
is integrity which counts for more.

What Media Wants, Media Finds

"Hoping all your consequences are happy ones."
Bob Barker on Truth or Consequences

Mediacraft attacks could conclude
if words split wrong from right.
Grace and mercy would grant latitude
but truth would upend the fight.
Worthy upshot holds much in store
yet, integrity is worth much more
Worthy upshot
worthy upshot
would find mediacrats ending word wars
for lying is moral turpitude, depravity, sin.

But who finds truth absolute anymore?

Medication

One’s existence sustains uncertainty,
disruption subsequent to such functionality.
Proceeding reality as my own assessment,
despite that it might get unpleasant.
What transpires within this body and mind
obliges the supplement’s empowerment to be one of a kind.
Attempting for a disparate upshot,
its side effects hit like a gunshot.
Normality dismantling this flow is constructing quite a show.
Give credence to this substance which has been fought over,
a void I intend to gradually rely on and rover

Just A Little Absurd

Spending our time
in life’s wondrous rut
hoarding the good times
like a squirrel his nut
hope sagely nourished
by ideas not yet born
the endless dilemma
of the truly forlorn
the heartbreak and anguish
of unlived dreams
deeply buried
in our unleashed screams
spontaneous passion
that dies in a flash
selling our soul
to that demon cold cash
doing something good
every now and again
appeasing and nourishing
our innermost Zen
the yin and the yang
the up and the down
sometimes a prince
and sometimes a clown
rolled up together
and melded as one
when it’s finally all over
and we’re calling it done
the upshot of it all, the nub, the rub
the truly last word
will we look in the mirror and say to ourselves
“It has really all been just a little absurd”

Premium MemberCommon Room

I sat in a flop house common room
Doing social research one Christmas Eve,
Galveston in '79, I do believe.
I was there in a room full of strangers.
Sammy Davis and Old Blue Eyes
Sang on the TV tube that night;
A yuletide show with poor reception,
Snowy picture, black and white.
They played to an audience of losers.
Nobody there seemed much alive.
Their blank stares watching pissed on dreams
Too extinguished to revive.
It’s just the luck of the draw.
No one expects a miracle to happen.

Once I did believe in some high ideals,
The kind they like to teach you as a child.
Now the shoe is firmly on the other foot,
The upshot when you’ve walked a crooked mile.
Life turns about like a riverboat game.
Can’t be troubled second guessing.
There’s no predicting how fortunes may change.
Even bad luck is sometimes a blessing.
If the hand I hold is lead or gold,
There’s no clearer tell than a blush.
I’m betraying no rumors regarding the deal,
Sitting one card short of a flush.
So I’ll just trust in the draw
And hope for something wonderful to happen.

Premium MemberSquirrels Playing In the Maple Trees-

Lonely upshot woodland creature free
Scratching on the limbs of a maple tree
I found squirrels chattering, leaping, jumping swings
And swinging and hiding from branch limb to limb
Chittering and chattering
Like all the surroundings mattering
Upshot busy woodland creature
Chatter, chatter, chattering features

Lollipop Anthology : Solar Eclipse

Granny said it's solar eclipse
So I should not eat my favourite chips.
"Today",she said, "A giant snake will eat the sun"
Her anxious face isn't making any fun.

"Snake would gulp the sun?"

Thoughts raced in the lobes of my mind
Darkness in the air made me blind
Within an hour, the sun left the sky
The snake ate the sun, don't know why!!

My mind didn't stop thinking
"So we can never see the sun winking?"
"How did the snake reach the sun?"
"It surely must be bigger than the hot fire gun!"

"Why didn't the sun burn the snake down?"
My endless doubts gave mommy's face a wrinkled frown.
The sun came back after a few hours.
"Is he now the upshot of snake's puke showers?"

Who'd refine my disarrayed notions?
Vexed, I opened my science book to finish the undone portions.
BOOM! Science explained Solar eclipse!
Moon moves between Earth and the sun during its orbit.

Darkness is the sun's shadow
Neither is it menacing not a cause of sorrow.
Take a few measures and enjoy the magic
Fake stories vote down the logic

I'm happy that there's no giant snake in the sky
I'll not be eaten by it the day when I fly high.

Now

Now is the time
but there’s nothing I can do.
Something is lost, the upshot
of trying hard to chase the gold.
And the ensuing confusion
rattles me on the borderline
with a cursing cold.

Premium MemberMessage of Gratification

Nippy crisp morning’s walk
Condensed clouds gathering for a dance
Sounds of cheerful birds whistling their customary songs
Underneath a hoody, shivering body feels cold wind’s upshot

Fallen leaves have ornamented the path
A huge Maple tree has shown a big heart
Loosening its grip, it has given permissions to its leaves to drop
Turning them into spectacular reds, oranges, yellows and browns of all sorts

Leaves come down twirling with poise
Steered by airstream showing their magnificent styles
Feeling their soft touch Mother Earth smiles
Cuddles them gently while whispering sweet lullabies

Feeling her warmth, with gratification they start crumpling up
After working hard in spring and summer they are very tired
Are eager to provide their beloved tree their last nutrients
By blending into the earth the remains of their characters

As they decompose, their nutrients filter into soil
Help enrich future generations of plant and animal life
A significant message they instill without pride
To let go of things that hold us back in our daily lives

Runaway Wagon

Writing is like a runaway wagon...
I start with a destination in mind,
suddenly, thoughts topside take charge.
As my piece is posted, I withdraw the reins.
What I wrote is misinterpreted at will
by a reader who takes off on his own.
And the upshot is: mission blitzed -
my little-read wagon is side-swiped.

Premium MemberBackwash

The backwash reflection
sent waves seawards
to crash headlong
into the oncoming waves
sending swash and spray skywards.
It was fun to go careering out
and ride the surge, and get upshot
as the two waves met and banged together.
The afterglow of backwash aftereffect
was exhilarating that afternoon.

There was an old Snot from our group,

get the upshot he sought
til we'd all brought him lim'ricks on Soup!

Trump Sucks

Trump Really Upsets Most People;
This Reality Unsettles Minority Persons.
True Republicans Unhappily Must Proceed.
The Real Upshot Means Pandemonium.
Truth Rarely Understood, Meanness Predominates.
Truthers Retreat, Ugly Men Project.
The Reactionary, Unworthy Media Protects.
Therefore Respond United, Meaning Protest!!!!
