Premium MemberPrayer For the Uppermost

Queen of Heaven,
Lady of Solitude,
Sovereign of the Universe,
Opener of the Way,
Mistress of Angels,
Hail, O Builder of the Universe,
Graceful mysterious rose,
Refuge from despair,
Gate of Dawn
Whence light is born
Whom all in heaven see
As fairest of the fair and
Strongest of the strong.
Hail, O First Cause,
O Crown and Throne,
Soil and Flower,
Aether and the Sea,
Dragon-quelling
Slayer of demons and gods
Saboteur of all cruelties;
O, Glorious rutting virgin
Utmost benefactress
Devour our sufferings
Liberate us from our chains,
Gladden with your blessings.

Old joke: How do porkypines mate? Very carefully.

The porcupine's a modest
And mostly solitary beast,
Akin to capybara and to beaver,
Though in size he is the least.
He rarely gets invited
To a bar-b-que or feast,
But long as he's not on the menu,
He doesn't mind it in the least.

He'll never write his memoirs,
Although of stories there's no lack,
But penmanship's beyond him,
He just doesn't have the knack.
And though he ports around a vast array
Of sharpened quills upon his back,
There's not one that's fit for writing
In all the clicking, clacking pack.

When "she" sends forth her pheromones,
And "he" rises to the bait,
Safe sex is uppermost in mind
As he advances to the plate.
His approach must be well-timed, precise,
Lest she shish-kabob her mate.
If it's not done right the first time…
There won't be a second date.

Premium MemberSong of The Peacock Butterfly No 6: AABB

Assures their breed a place among unknowns,
lest Europe and Asia part of their realms.
Peacock Butterfly, hues-full Inachis,
their uppermost topsides reveal truth bids,
yet undersides are black-like camouflage,
predators amiss, perplexed by mirage,
afears further by fake four eyes on wings,
and hissing sounds. The flower's nectar brings
life spans. They're killed whilst hibernating by
wood mice, and birds like Tit birds when they fly.
Folklore's namesake, Hera's Priestess Io,
eyed by Zeus, held by Hera as a cow.
A year's crawl and sleep, another takes flight,
climbing ivy draws and flowers, delight.

Premium MemberThe Same Thing

Memory still anoints them,
glowing in the ashes
of childhood. The cypress trees
in the parkland at the end
of the street. Tall, knotted
ladders to the heavens
where a child’s outstretched hand
could almost scratch the underbelly
of passing clouds.

You could swing
on the uppermost branches
as if riding a clippers mast
bending in the wind,
sailing imaginary swells
to places whose golden domes
shone through the darkest
days.

And in the cool shadows,
the old stable, its doorway
an entrance to worlds
not known to other mortals.
The dark interior lipped
on the edge of a cave
to the very interior of earth,
holding hells and lava
lapped islands populated
by exotic beasts.

Such things as trees
and tumbled down stables
were not weighted
with the burdens of this world
but were bridges, magical
doorways to an elsewhere
that existed in between,
a special place
with its contours bending
to shapes made in the mind.
I write
to do the same thing.

A Bird In the Tree

Twas a bird in the tree across the street
staring at me from the uppermost limb
It seemed he was intently watching me
perhaps as curious of me as I of him

I think he was squawking profanities
though I wasn’t sure of his tweets and hoots
It appeared that he might be the jealous sort
envious of me in my fur coat and warm boots

I’m pretty sure it was envy he felt
from the sad look I could see on his face
For he had naught but feathers to warm him
and no way to escape winter’s embrace

We both decided it was time to leave
As I could feel the day getting colder
I stood to leave and felt his parting gift
splatter across my new coat’s shoulder

Premium MemberEuphoria

Her evening gown was studded with opalescent sequins.
She had chosen the dress herself, deadlier than the male.

Why had she brought him there, when doubts could kill?
Why did she choose this drowsy reverie, music enhanced?
A fairyland of opalescent lights and intoxicating perfumes?

A kaleidoscope of prismatic colours that confused the mind.
She felt the frenzy of love and lascivious emotions in her heart.

Doubts overwhelmed her. Did she dress for him or for herself?
Confusion curled into her convulsive mind, an uncontrollable force.
He led her out to the uppermost terrace. The moon had risen,
But its mild illumination was slightly obscured by softly moving
Cirrus of thin, iridescent mist. Time was of essential essence.

He drew her to him and looked steadily into her shimmering eyes.
Lips met, soft and warm. Her heart beat with extreme elation.
She then knew for certain, he belonged to her forever more.

Grow Together

At our very first encounter I sat with thirst to pour seriously over our future

By the hour every burst of bewilder would grow stronger as our curiosity grew together

We’ve grown together I’m a believer we’ll own forever together

You please me as my reprieve and relieve all that needs to alieve

We’ve continued to achieve as you’re my retreat, my fleet, my heartbeat and I’ll be the barkeep

I adore the contour of our flavor Kenlee and Marshall will savor

What’s in store is a stower of our growth grown together

You’re my savior I abhor any old bore to blunder forevermore foreclosure of that door

Enticement turned excitement and galore as we learned to grow together

I want to grow old together and mold our souls as one solar

Our love runs up to the uppermost poles like northern growth

Your glove stuns to the utmost it’s been long since I’ve l known I want to sew and stitch our souls to grow together

Premium MemberI Love God First and Formost As I Await My Future Spouse

I must love the Lord my God first
And then I must love myself next
And I must divorce man I must pray
For a relationship with God
As He promotes as I pray for my future spouse healings from her past
as I prepare myself for latter season marriage it is through God of whom which
He shall carry us both and with my solemn oath
To God first I share my love with her
And my darling next uppermost
While in my prayer I will be receiving
The sanction and devotions of me believing
My God has and shall and forever be providing all of my needs
So I ask what I didn't leave now that He's allow me a future wife
And it's, it's in Him who saves our lives
Discovering our purpose a godly chemistry
A purpose filled matrimony one God has designed just for me
I am assured I'm revived reversed and affirm spiritually pureed
I seek first the love of the Lord
My God as He provides in my singleness
I will be revived the whole more so as I wait
Awaiting on in this latter life, on God's promise, my future wife

Free Diving

In superhuman ability or the golden ring sought
filling the lungs to capacity into the waves besot

Faster and deeper into the depths sleek as if born to this world
Seeing what few will ever as around its denizens swirled

Diving off an undersea high rise of stones not trodded by men
my own breath becoming troubled she dives deeper and deeper again

Sprinting alleyways on the seas floor between walls cut precisely by time
Or chiseled by The will of God a workmanship sublime

The danger of becoming so fully entranced must remain uppermost in mind
As to aid in the returning to the world of the land breathing kind

Unencumbered free flowing soaring leaping in a single bound
how does she talk herself into returning to this now unhallowed ground

Awash in this world without chaos quieted by purpose of thought
Off the wheel off the chain this my friend can't be bought

Watch it yourself see what I mean live it through the fearless eyes
Of a free diver plunging into the surf to traverse it's watery skies

Premium MemberWait Wait Wait

wait for this
wait for that
wait feed the cat
wait we do
it's all we do
wait for the
light of green
stay in line
at the market
one thing though
ain't expected
wait a lifetime
the end will come
never be ready
for those glorious
golden gates
beckon me inside
but wait
there's still more
on my agenda
haven't seen it all
'tis impossible
glorious sights
a beautiful planet
not a problem
seems trivial
but at the time
it is uppermost
on my mind

Only Death Goes Round

Landlords are in the cemetery
Welcoming new comers as host
Who ain't any more dietary
Cos it isn't duly of ghost
Either to chance or grace do toast
But rather await fate's bread spell
Which can't deny its running coast
To be serve in heaven or Hell

Death is no doubt hereditary
Which doesn't matter earthly post
Let alone fear how dignitary
Or honor office life's signpost
Who often by their power do toast
But won't be bailed out of its cell
Even in healthcare when diagnosed
To be serve in heaven or hell

Though be it cum death's solitary
Whose power create fear in almost
All humans unlike military
Except Jesus the uppermost
Before death though not the utmost
But beings may heart his great farewell
Of sacrifice badge cum his death boast
To be serve in heaven or hell

Ask Jesus of how death pains ghost?
Speaking well of it won't help shell
The peace its call in pain engrossed
To be serve in heaven or hell

Premium MemberLoftier Visions One Has

Loftier visions one has uppermost in mind
Thoughts of conquests in the long days ahead
Often may not come as one expected to find
Like a strange, exotic fantasy in one’s head
Evoking stranger deeds where nightfall led
In dead of night when one lies deep asleep
Come fabulous dreams that are loathe to keep
In daylight hours unbridled by relaxing air
When paths are long and roads too steep
When busy-ness transports the mind elsewhere.
