Encouragement

Have you ever felt
there is no hope,
like we're under a microscope,
and no matter how we adjust,
we just cannot please our Heavenly Father?
Perhaps you've asked,
"Why bother the Father any longer?"

Open your heart to Jah in prayer
no matter when, how or where.

When we pray,
He listens intently.
He loves you so immensely.
The intensity of his care for you
could never in forever be measured.
You are his child—
a golden treasure.

When we cry,
He knows the many reasons why.
He's aware you want to fly
away from your trials.
You're never subject to his denial.

He'll help you to persevere,
reminding you he's always here.
He'll be there to catch your tears,
calm your worries, allay your fears.

Jehovah God is always near.

Premium Member Magnification

Close up you can see the colossal amounts of energy
it took to grow this plant from a seed
An even closer look through the microscope,
inside lies the complete genetic information
Images of texture I can almost feel
Spikes that pop up prickly come alive
I have no limits to magnification
I can see vibrant stars dead center
Elements of sunshine tan and green
Sediments of gill filaments in V-shapes
Arrows in grooves with silver linings
Natures details to resemble filigree
Mucus glowing its sickle-shaped petal lobes
Milky sap growing within, aligning
milk vines and perfect pinwheels
Nature’s own flower arrangements
Under a microscope

Premium Member BETRAYAL AFTER BETRAYAL

Applause…applause for a magical dove
       transformed
               coming out from
          betrayal after betrayal

Once - well that can happen
Twice - hmm, wow, scratch the head
Third time - you best get wise

The scratch of a psychiatrist pen
eyeing you under a microscope

Jesus asked the man, by the pool of Bethesda,
“Do you want to get well?”

Too much serpent - scrupulously hands Eve an apple
Too much dove - disadvantage unsettling

The Bible advises: Be as wise as a serpent
and as harmless as a dove

Premium Member Remember To Smile Pretty

if an atomic bomb is dropped, the cockroaches will survive.
we might not make it, but they will. They always have.
during the ice age, during the pandemics, during Armageddon.
they have the inside track on how to outlive everyone.

roach motels will take on a new meeting
you will have roach designers, roach engineers, roach undertakers
no one will scream "ooh!" when they see a roach
roaches will become the mayor, governor and president

if you are the only person who survives, enjoy the cockroaches.
your doctor, dentist, pharmacist and teachers will be of this species.
they will push you under a microscope to figure out how you survived.
remember not to squirm and smile pretty.

Premium Member Aliens

Are we not already
an Alien Species

only 10% human

home and host to
many foreign colonies?

Yet we thrive
ignoring differences
under a microscope
quite complex and
astounding

To my point
appearance, space and time
are the more and less of
body and mind~ the factual
but not the actual, experience
more truth than any of our physical
fictions

Each trouble that Man creates

Always, comes back him to haunt

If he keeps hurting nature

Nature, for long will him daunt!

found out it was filled with microparticles of plastic!

The Turmoil Within

United States had the power and respect
Now I believe we’re being
 Laughed at and ridiculed
What happened?
What started out as a
Innocent election
Has been blown to hell
ering parties separated by
The whose and the whats
It really looks bad for us and
You wonder who can you trust
Clashes in the city streets has
The whole country off balance
An on edge
While this country is being watched and
Put under a microscope

Observed

You micro manage our performance
Like germs under a microscope
Always watching probing controlling
We are never free but nor are you
All of us are observed from afar

Stupidity
A trait for which medical science has found no cure.

Full of Dregs
Ever look at a drop of water under a microscope?
I imagine our lives appear much the same in God’s eye.

A Pancake’s Two Sides
One thing worse than never having enough,
is never having any.

Call It Individuality
Just as there are opposite sides to each coin,
There also are opposing views to your every idea.

Intelligence Bests Speed
Leading the pack isn’t necessarily being faster than the other dogs,
Sometimes it’s knowing where the shortcuts are!

There are two ways of doing every task,
The way you prefer it, and the way you get it.

More people are fleeced through inattention,
than by their lack of knowledge.

You may criticize the results,
But you have to praise my effort.

The source that has grub staked me to life,
will one day declare my note is due.
Then our debt will either be marked “paid in full”
or “weighed in the balance and found wanting”

I fail in getting the desired answer,
because most times I’m asking the wrong question.

Purple

I smell no Jasmines, Daisies or Geraniums this Summer

Nor my soul desires an ancient amphora

Crimson riddles my skin

My mind is an Amethyst.

An Amaranth a fixed star; an amulet

To which my neurons ebb and flow.

Purple radiates in shades

Violet Veins. My palpitations are magenta.

My heart is a deeper shade of purple. This summer.

Like a wound under a microscope.

I long to plot the anelemma of my thoughts

Protons in blue and electrons in amber.

Yet purple dominates my neurons like a clumsily drawn tube map.

In my mind, a soft ray of violet makes a lemniscate

Other colours, smells and senses, an oblivion await.

* This is an exercise in one colour :)

To Cope

TO COPE
In the darkest moment, we still the light of hope
Are you going to use our telescope
Life is under a microscope
Nothing we can deal, nothing we can cope

Strands of hair under a microscope
In different shapes and hues
They twirl and swirl elegantly
Exuding dainty graceful poise
Culminating in stretched flexible splits.
Under a microscope they dance for joy.

Solid Ideas

Solid Ideas

A solid idea has a myriad of concrete corners
When you step off the curb take one with you and iron boots
It follows you with definable mass and weight
With cold hard facts to anchor
A solid idea is one that is frozen in time chiseled
Like a statue of hard marble it is always there
Asphalt and trees fill in the landscape by the river
Solid ideas sometimes bathe in the sun by the banks
Hold on to railings of the ship if you should sail there
Metallic footwear will not save you
If you float down the stream of consciousness
Or away into the atmosphere
The edges of street blocks are covered in salt
Under a microscope the crystalline structures take shape
Are cube like forms bunched together
A solid idea is one that grips you firm like that
It replaces, displaces water on the brain
I keep my solid ideas locked up
In chains, in basements, in refrigerators
To be taken out on special occasions
Poured over ice to thaw conversations

Connecting the Dots

At birth I saw the opening
And a speck of light
From the world that welcomed me –
The first visible light
To excite my pupils, I guess.
That light comes clearer now
As I pass by the road
Full of dried hit-and-run frogs,
With various scenes of life along.
The dots are exposed:
I see one from the night sky
Like a white paint drop
On a black board,
From a grain of sand by the sea,
From a tiny seed
That waits for the time to sprout,
From the eye of a beast
That secretly solicits love,
And from many others.
The dots lie on such an infinitely wide sheet
That I try to connect them
And cannot see the whole picture.
I think God watches me on the sheet
Under a microscope.
