I’ve met my match.

Night owls, we may be. 
Black silk hair is cultivated.

At the Philadelphia Flower Show
we plotted and planned our future life
that was the first time you called me husband
and I delighted in calling you wife
we made a wish on every bud
every elegant and extravagant display
the tulips called to our lips
and we lovingly obeyed 
we ran barefoot across floral bridges 
and danced with rainbow Perennials 

The First Chapter Part 1

I knew that once I stopped 
frantically looking
you would magically appear
I knew that once I stopped 
dramatically sulking
you would emerge from the sphere

your form is a sultry black
your deep hue is smooth 
and unblemished
when I first drank
from your fertile fountain 
I was immediately replenished

you have the eyes of God 
they enrapture me
in every and all

Nostalgia is creeping up on me,
       Walking back into history.
       Back then, we were only nine,
       There’s no way we knew we run out of time.

Must the petals fall now and

It's like I can't think,

Loudness surrounding my thoughts,
Fear bounding me,

But I'm moving,
I'm grinding,
I'm shining.
But I'm down,
Head in the clouds,
Please don't make a sound,

Enjoy the company,

As riveting as a lighting strike?
Despite the usual weather
Without necessary odds to conquer

My thoughts fling a montage of clues
Atypical but not pompous
I am not laced with frills yet graced with flaws
Not a tableau of fairy-tale but even gravity would pause

A day feels like mist of the wee hours,
once again I regale myself with
the buzz and the fuss
Coaxing my heart out of sulking 
for it is an utter melancholy
and slightly a jest
TO MISS THE WIND KEENLY FELT
BUT CANNOT BE GRASPED

A tad mockery to be often left
by my own home as though giving away
is almost granting
