The depth of my thoughts
is always fighting against
the shallowness of my being.

Waste your energy
Lose the game
Save your energy
The game is yours
When you pull
And try to hold immediately
Another one who is constantly holding
Gets an advantage in that small moment
Cause while you try to hold
You also try to balance your body
And strength for the holding phase
Hold preserves center of gravity
So you don't topple forward or backward
While Slow Pulls gives you an advantage
Since you're moving backwards
But risks toppling backwards
Since the center of gravity moves as the body moves
Humans walk on two legs without tails
Making them unstable
Furthermore, tug of war
Is a game of strength and stamina
Slow pulls makes you exert energy more than Hold.

Tug a bit on earthly muck, shakes us all;
Hell's murkiness makes the eternal fall.
Pick up pure mud, feel its wonder and awe.
Our cosmos burns but organics are rare;
though carbon abounds, exists everywhere.
Light springs into life, if water is there!
Grab damp dark soil, same stuff in a flower.
Musing trite thoughts drains our mental power,
try to wake before your faint final hour.
Some sculpt Buddha's fingers touching the earth,
always connecting to soil has true worth.
From the moist muck comes all life and rebirth.
Our world will rock us asleep and awake;
ups and downs, storms and quakes, for goodness sake.
Accepting all flaws, what will we forsake?

Magnetic bliss tug along spine
All nodes within form dance
Our mind-body becomes divine
Love with love in parlance
We’re centred in the void
Blissful and overjoyed
Heart pure and unalloyed
Lingering love hug
Magnetic bliss tug

Tug of War
the three and four-year-olds had a terrific time
playing tug of war with a rope
all of them trying to help their friends
pulling a variety of directions
no matter what team they were on
hilarious to watch

so don't go tug on my heartstrings man
i might fall apart at the “seems"
take a jump off a bridge
just to show that i live
to make a mark on the start
for the times of dear dreams
take a ride in a boat to niagra to float
thinking that destination's delivery can share
of what keep me afloat to stop the chaos
with hope and to be a big witness of care
don’t go pulling on my shirt now dude
you won't believe what comes out my sleeve
a difference a detour a doubt for the pain
that's just a jaunt just to trust and believe
so take all your heart hope put them near to the head
so you won't confuse clarity for real tears
just take all your time to tell a true rhyme
that i know more for my age plus my years

it is a sweet ringing in my ears
a song a melody resounding Psalms
there is a tug and embrace
and a warm feeling in my heart
there is a breath of fresh air
flowing through my nostrils
must be sweet God in Jesus
His Holy Spirit keeps
coming to me I can feel it
Oh!
O
My, my, my
I hear I feel so a quiet tug of love
Glory
Hallelujah

Come and be a part of me, now conjoined
Our lives meshed relentlessly caught
Netted forever in daily favours we appoint
In constant debt to save love's abort
Entity rules written on parchment ethereal
Compile acumen requirements
Tolerance adopts compassionate interior
Faith pledge beckons kindness
Independance threatens from near corner
Sinister as demon intending to leap
Reports a lost opportunity to love coroner
Solitary plight, pride intends to keep
Conscious strive for linking brings prosper
Combined denotes concerned
Response an innate component longed for
River of reciprocation yearned
Innoculated beneath doctrine of obligation
Committed beings tread carefully
Self derived bliss retains a vapid formation
Of solace seen in together revelry
1st November
- torn in concept
of tug of war demanded
by needing others as much
as I rely on myself

In my youth during the war years
At our July First festivities three cheers
They held a Tug 'O War
Police and Fire to the fore
At times life is like a Tug 'O War it appears

the sky an ocean of Forget Me Nots,
leaden on hues French-vanilla ice-cream,
puffy cotton candy clouds move down stream
grassy field of red spice cinnamon hots
dream of pleasure indulges in single malt
of her big eyes. watch a half smile linger
a wink of sun glare, tighten her fingers,
cries, red balloons into the amber they bolt

I read a quote the other day.
It said you must improve today.
I read a quote the other day.
It said to love yourself – don’t change.
Which quote was right?
Which quote was wrong?
Both made me weak.
Both made me strong.
And thus, the tug of war began.
One side of me – quite content
Was fighting all my discontent.
One side of me – quite discontent
Was fighting all my self-content.
My ego – almost split in two
Could not decide just what to do.
And thus, the tug of war continued.
Until one day, quite tired of this.
My question was, "What had I missed?"
Was there a balance I couldn’t see?
Satisfied with what I was, could I be…
A person who improved her lot
Without a tug of war so taut?
And thus, the tug of war ended.

"I still got some ink in my pen; I know I can do this!,"
goes one's will.
"No dice, my brain is like scrambled eggs right now,"
replies writer's block.
"I CAN DO THIS, I REALLY CAN! THIS IS GO-TIME!,"
screams one's will.
"Hey! Not now...I'll tell you when!,"
writer's block screams back.
Quite an amicable relationship...
between these two.

Push-Pull leaders
demand your gripe
at either end of their
hangman's rope
Your willing hoist
of their own petard,
the Devil's foist
of his own retard.
"retard" in this sense="delay," as in delaying tactics.

"For tis the sport to have the enginer
Hoist with his own petar, and't shall go hard
But I will delve one yard below their mines
And blow them to the moon"
Hamlet.

I love the people
that know i can do the things
that i never thought i could
I love the people
who know the words
i never say
I Iove the people
that feel
because i felt
and all the rest just ghosts
that tug as i walk by

A Gentle Tug
I wait for you to gently peek at me
As you begin to rise above the earth
And lift your glowing face for all to see
A perfect orb to grace the indigo sky
Through eons of ages you've guided us by
I sit and gaze at you from upon my rug
Your beauty gives my heart a gentle tug
