Delilah

Delilah, just the name carries

a lot of connotations

A manipulator,scandalous,

and a woman of temptations

Her beauty is skin deep

But her treachery's like an abyss

Lies dwell in her eyes,

There's poison in her kiss

Premium Member the treachery of tides

Patient planets on their wheels revolve
they answer not for the treachery of their tides

But we’re made guilty of our own disasters
and we’ll hang by our own lazy geometry.

Our very own hapless crookedness
is reason enough for our bankruptcy

Oh, we may pretend and invent kinder tales
but in quiet rooms, in privacy, let us confess

that we, ourselves, are the choking strychnine,
and the muscles controlling the bone-white hand

if we all become handsome skeletons
who lack marked grave stones
let’s call it karma.

Premium Member Treachery

A gray cat, stealthy crept,
tall grass his tactic cover.
Was he a Robin Hood?
Nay! More apt a Robin's
demise.

A conqueror to his kin.
A devil to wings that fly.
My truth, may be your
everything? Or, just another
Seducer's lies....?

What ruse is so effective
that someone blatantly perverse
can succeed all so easily
to convince one after the other
to give it all up
to trade in their integrity
to renege on their values
to turn their back on any moral compass
to literally sell their soul to the devil

And… have the gall to walk among us
still with their head held high ?

Seems like we’ve entered an alternate reality
beyond the stretch of imagination
where nightmares are the new norm.

Brotherhood Lost

No need or want is greater still
Than that which lacks the higher will
And deems what others hold by right
Be gained by vile abhorrent might
Or lacking cause with common weal
Unhands by wanton treacherous seal
To break the bonds of brotherhood
And serve thyself o'er greater good

Adulting

When the control is in your hand,
you should know when to stop and when to use,
no matter what it is: words or weapons.
Otherwise, it will destroy the controller:
like, someone is stabbing the holder's back
by bending the holder's hand.

Like, the truth you had said
thinking the listener is your friend,
but later found that
they were the people
who had defamed you by spreading that.

Are people worth trusting?
Doesn't a knife cause you less pain than treachery?

Petrified Heart: a Tale of Treachery

In a labyrinth of treachery, my broken hearts cries,
From an unspoken betrayal, that no love survives.
She deemed my love wanting, a river too weak,
While I poured all into her, till I became a creek.

My silent vows etched into every setting sun,
Her needs, my command, until the day was done.
I never complained, grumbled, nor moan
She always wanted more, wanting a pet to own.

A blunder, she weeps, her voice a hollow song,
Her reptilian tears swear to have wished no wrong.
Claims of love, of missing our yesteryears' night,
Yet, now I see her true nature, a bloodsucking parasite.

Once, an angel of light in my star-struck gaze,
Now a golem, a specter in the burning blaze.
Her visage, once my sanctuary, now vile, obscene,
I should’ve foreseen that she was tainted and unclean

"I cannot bear your sight," I declare, broken, torn,
My heart, a sculpture of stone, in her love's scorn.
No more, I will overcome this relentless pain,
For you've petrified my heart, it’ll never feel again.

" ...betrayal begins with trust." Quote_ Phish

Betrayal is the cold shiny sword
of stalking deception,
sheathed in scabbard of trust.
Its two-edged blade is
honed to razor sharp,
ready to thrust, lunge and parry
a touche touch.

Betrayal is two-faced
and unreliable.
There's a switch blade in
the hand that reaches out
trustingly and faithfully
for more of you.

So as trust grows,
beware that it sows
the seeds of scorns
in the thorns
of treachery
and bribery.

The Beginnin 4

The Chi; Christ; Christos is your guardian spirit
One with a deeper knowledge of the route
Because it is of that route and knows it best
Enabling you through the earthly life unharmed

Abandoning the route through which you came
Through omission or commission has consequences
When your true spiritual being resides with the route
With the ancestors from where you came
Your treachery may not go unpunished
When the credit of life is awarded to the wrong beings

Acclimatizing with your root you herald the peace
That which comes from the depth of your root
When you have reconciled the earthly existence
That which the body and the mind represent
Synchronised with the true being in realms unseen

The Battle For the Nhs

On the rise, as you approach our local Hospital, there's what's left of a homemade 'We 'heart' the NHS' banner.
Only now it's just a pole with a piece of crumpled, red stained sheet falling from it.
The bloodied flag of a battle sadly lost.

We the People

We are the people of the past and the present that you have failed to represent.
We freeze in fear of the current fate of our vitality and of our future fertility
We are those that pay the pipers price for policies of protection.

We do not take lightly the heat of hatred nor the will to wage war. We only stand brave to bear the burden thereby you boldly boast. We laugh not into the plight of peril or our unwarranted demise. We do not fight for foolish follies made by our own doing. We are only humble servants of the eccentric and the uncontrolled extreme.

We are forced to march onward in the manner mandated by madness. We pray profusely that we perish in a peaceful proclamation. We cry the treacherous tears of treason that stain the sheets of our salvation.

We know not where the truth ends nor where the lies begin. We only remember the written hopes and dreams of our bygone “Noble” men.

We the People, We the People, We the People.

Premium Member Stumbling Towards Desire

I stumble pajamaed, half asleep toward the object of my desire.
in memory, it calls to me, of passionate pleasures experienced prior.
The morning's night is the consummate time for secret rendezvous discrete.
With ninjaly sneak I arrive at the door - my illicit joy within reach.
But to my horror I find the pizza gone - again, my trust is breached!

Wolves

Come get me all you murderers, rapists and thieves.
Come, take advantage and kill me.
Just save room up front
for my husband will be first in line for the hunt.
The doors are unlocked, my protection is gone
Come rape and murder and blame me
'Cause you know I'm always wrong.
Come, invite your friends, the whole gang of wolves
It'll be a lot of fun.
You can bite, rip and tear with your lies and your snares
To keep me on the run.
In my throat your teeth will sink, finally bringing relief
Then the angels will sing, carrying me home.

Magritte's Treachery

(Based on the painting “The Treachery of Images” by René Magritte)

If you label symbols traitors
Since they’re only indicators
Rather than the actual things they signify,
Then you’re logically unable
To affirm your very label
Is a truth and not a metaphoric lie.
