Magritte's Treachery
(Based on the painting “The Treachery of Images” by René Magritte)
If you label symbols traitors
Since they’re only indicators
Rather than the actual things they signify,
Then you’re logically unable
To affirm your very label
Is a truth and not a metaphoric lie.
