Premium Member Let's Romance Tonight

Eyes got hooked a moment.
Somewhere deep in their heart,
bloomed love's silken blossoms.
They both knew a sweet ache.
Love rose like steady flame.
With strong passion, he said-
"Dear, let's romance tonight"

Premium Member Let's Romance Tonight

I'm drenched in your love like
this storm we are caught in.
Take my hand, Dear; let's run!
In front of your fireplace
we need to be . . . cuddling.
Rain's pitter-patter will
match the beat of our hearts.

Let's Romance Tonight

Poem written on 19th September, 2025 for the contest "Let's Soar With This Poetry Contest" sponsored by Nette Onclaud.
...............................................
Let us romance tonight,
Our souls will bear love's fruits.
Nine months too long to sow,
Yet that's how life births life.
Its joy will outlive us
Tonight is ours to own.
So come, let love's rhythm play.

Premium Member My Prayer Tonight

Stillness in the night
Bless me with insight
Guide me by the light
Let my light shine bright
Strengthen me with might

Always be my stay
Help me every day
Teach me what to say
Listen when I pray
Let me know my way

Speak so I may learn
Help me to discern
With me be not stern
Deepen my concern
Soon let me return

Never more alone
Let me come back home
Let me no more moan
With no flesh or bone
Return to heaven’s zone

Premium Member Let's Romance Tonight

My darling dear, sweetheart
After the midnight hour
When the wolves howl for love
And the horny owl's hoot
Let's listen to their cries
Holding hands together
we'll watch the moon turn blue

chocolate tonight

chocolate tonight
vanilla ice cream delight
clock late wait sleep tight

Moonlight's Bright Tonight, Part 3

Moonlight's bright tonight.
Let's go outside and play.
We can run until dawn.
Morning's still far away.

Embrace the lingering warmth
From the setting of the sun.
Streets grant one true path.
Night calls our return.

In silence the river washed
Our dreams from the shore.
Shiny speckles of sand
Are ours no more.

We’re left vacant and empty
With no pathway home,
Yet the streets keep calling,
Calling our return.

The nights will restore
What we knew in the streets,
But lost from our lives
In many years since.

New challenges we’ll face
With joy and with grief.
Head-on and direct,
Reclaim our belief.

Come share the night,
And the life we must lead
In the streets of the city
Where we can be free.

Moonlight's bright tonight.
Let's go outside and play,
In the streets of the city.
Morning's still far away.

Moonlight's Bright Tonight, Part 2

Moonlight’s bright tonight.
Let’s go outside and play
In the streets of the city.
Morning’s far away.

We’ll dance in the streets,
Race under the stars,
Staring into the eyes
Of oncoming cars.

They’ll tell us their wisdom
In archetypical style
Of the roles that we play
And if we survive.

The dogs of the city,
They howl and they fight,
Then fortune they share
For our hungry delight.

When morning comes early
With its fresh silken dreams,
We shake off the dust
Of what we have seen.

We’ll feel the warm sun
Wake our guarded souls,
To feed us again
As we make our way home.

Our lives have been spent
Living other’s requests.
Now is the time
For our own conquests.

The streets of the city
Are daring and sheer.
Come with me now.
Experience no fear.

Moonlight's Bright Tonight, Part 1

Moonlight’s bright tonight.
Let’s go outside and play
In the fields of the village.
Morning’s far away.

Still crisp air holds its breath
In silence as we watch
Moonlit shadows creeping west,
Forever out of reach.

We try to chase the shadows
Running through the trees,
Standing tall like rocket ships
Against the lonely seas.

Come along and run with me,
The fields await our gaze.
There lay mysteries to be seen
Beyond the twilight haze.

We’ll chase our noble destiny
Into the howling storm
And catch those fleeting shadows,
Running with open arms.

We’ve stayed in this tiny village
Longer than we aught.
The world awaits, bold and bright
Even if we’re caught.

It’s time to make our journey
To lands far and wide.
I’d rather face the future
With you by my side.

Moonlight’s bright tonight.
Let’s go outside and play.
Time to forge our future,
In the streets with me today.

Atta-Gal I'm your Man tonight

The perfect indication
a smirk, with some flirtation
a special night
for dating
do you wanna dance with me

Suggestive comments got me thinking
that atta-bouis
and all that winking
laning on me
got me thinking
you wanna dance with me

aint got the right stuff for staying
work in the morning my Boss aint
playing
But you got me wanting
some forward thinking
the night aint through
when the band finishes playing

I got a kiss
after a whisper
the gentlemen said
she called me her Mister
Right night
the romance of the mmusic
dancing
smiling and grooving
what a night
what a romantic evening
got a foolish man
beleiving
take my time
clm all the feelings
freshen up for a specail evening

CHUMKEE HAS DRIFTED INTO SLEEP TONIGHT

Tonight Chumki drifts to a gentle sleep,
And with her the poems their silence keep.
No murmur of verses, no whisper of rhyme,
The hours move slowly, unmeasured by time.

The stars look down with a softened gaze,
Darkness enfolds in its velvet haze.
No chatter of stanzas, no lyrical sound,
Only the hush of the night all around.

Dreams weave quietly in silver streams,
Guarding the doorway to tender dreams.
The restless lines lie still and deep,
For even the muses have gone to sleep.

Yet in the silence, a promise lies near,
That dawn will awaken the songs we revere.
When Chumki wakes, her smile will rise,
And poems will flutter once more to the skies.

Tonight into the Mourning 3

Without food
Means to change station
As go the dying poor in document
So must I

The forager
Origin of contempt
Translation of bureaucrat

My headaches not for information

This and this alone
Finds the civilized item
Creating civilizations

Spaceman
Sour Apple Ice

A hand me down
From a news friend
On our street

Whom possessed the capacity
Of a bad gateway?

A spacemare lands her bright
Simplicity and amaze
Without charge
Her lounge and a courtships ending
Where and how does a man resemble
His fortune after beings are conquered?

The post of California
In lost postage
Where has liberty wronged?

Tonight

I want tonight to be the night
The one that we keep insight
A forever moment cherished in time
The work is done, and the hill is climbed
One special evening with you cradled in my arms
I’ve fallen for your unique and beautiful charms
Now I need to show you my light inside
From a heart that nearly died
You are my everything
And I can’t wait to hear you sing
Just this once baby girl I want you to know
I need us to take it ever so slow
Please let me be your person of trust
My everything for you is an absolute must
I want tonight to be the night
The one that we keep insight
One special evening with you cradled in my arms
I’ve fallen for your unique and beautiful charms

I talked with the new moon tonight

I talked with the new moon tonight,
And asked: - How fast,
How slow
The seasons come and go,
The birds migrate, the grass is getting dry,
And not be late
In life,
In death,
At birth, how loud do we have to shout?
How long to stay?
And wait,
And count,
How slow, how fast we have to love,
And get a glimpse of quicksand,
A touch of a tear
When wrapped arms melt in waves,
How many steps?
The ocean, lying at your feet
Begging for your embrace,
How slow the clouds go, or
                                                Stay
Still,
How long the gaze,
How slow the breath

Premium Member What Hovers in the Air Tonight

Tonight, no visions dance before thine eyes
Tonight, dark clouds obscure the starlit sky

Tonight, the gentle breeze hath packed it in
Tonight, a wall of heat assaults the skin

Tonight, no lovers linger by the lake
Tonight, no children laugh or roller skate

Tonight, a strange feeling hovers in the air
Tonight, even non-believers say a prayer
