Have you ever wondered that/
Tobacco can affect your mental health/
Think about your life/
Before you lit that first cigarette or cigar/
Did you ever get in trouble/
Did you have any drama/
Did you fight with your lover or soul mate/
Were you ever rude or a hate warrior/
Did your heart turn black after that first cigarette/
Tobacco affected my own mental health/
What happened to me/
Could happen to you/
And, it could be worse/
Tobacco is a harmful substance/
It's like a drug/
It does crazy things to your mind/
You might think it relaxes you/
But, it actually does more harm than good/
You get cancer from Tobacco, too/
Tobacco adds to your mental health issues/
Tobacco means more trips to doctors/
You snuff out your divine light/
By using Tobacco, it's a mind altering substance/
Make your divine light pure, always shining bright/
By saying no to Tobacco/
Never mess up your mind, keep your mind, that light, pure/
God don't want you to put poison in your body/
Tobacco is poison/
Say no..../
Be pure.../
Keep your divine light pure/
Old flame memories, and game show repeats,
viewed through tobacco, it's smoke fills the room,
loneliness, only, stays glued to defeat,
blue-bottles, can't help, but choke on the gloom.
Dreams like the remote, corroded to rust,
unopened, unpaid, bills sit by the door,
surrendered and lost, to despair and dust,
no-one levelled up, around here for sure.
Each day's an ashtray, of stub filled regret,
while moth eaten drapes, block out the world's light,
another neat gin, will help to forget,
added indifference, towards day and night.
The blocked drains and sink, dirty old dishes,
all that remains of, yesterday's wishes.
There are tears mixed
into the pancake batter
sun is still obfuscated
by the window shades
without sunshine, I still
wind up a morning person
Tobacco clings to me,
where your scent would be
sewn with many memories
into the mesh of myself
a premature family crest,
stained and worn
The new day shows
only one outcome remains
the eggs are runny,
my nose sniffles into an arid oasis
no sunny side seems
to show up these days
I wake up to an empty pillow,
your space hollow through
but I still cannot but help myself
from making breakfast for two.
Chicory chew chew, tobakky chaw
I love my pappy. I love my ma.
Spit in a tin can, straight from my jaw
Chicory chew chew, tobakky chaw.
Sung very loud:
Wouldn't you like a ride on my beautiful cigar
Wouldn't you like to glide in my beautiful cigar
We could float among the puffs together, you and me
Cuz we got fleas, we got fleas.
two fingers hug the tobacco in cloak
lips kiss cigarette to drink fire fog
lungs dance to survive
cough laughs upon life
to health advice chain smoker is a mock

I'm happy to say that I quit smoking half a year ago.
It's been six months today since I last smoked tobacco.
When I was presented with the opportunity to quit, I decided to reach out and grab it.
All that I needed was some nicotine patches and faith in God to be able to kick the habit.
I quit smoking even though it's not an easy thing to do.
If you're a smoker who wants to quit, I believe in you.
Can't help this feeling.
You leave me in the ashes.
I'm so out of breath
I've been smoke free two months today.
I haven't smoked and I hope that's how things will stay.
Please don't start smoking, it wasn't a good thing for me to do.
Please say no to nicotine because that is what is best for you.
Pipe tobacco is cheaper than hand rolling tobacco, that’s good
But you gotta chip it an chop it and tug out all of the twigs and dead wood
Cos it’s as rough and as course as a grizzly bears bum
But thats part of the fun
Then you gotta roll it into a long slim snout
Shucks, it don’t roll easy I tell you and the big bits of baccy at the end fall out
Then when you strike a light it erupts into a massive fire and turns into ash
An it burns your tache
Worth it though for a cheap *** you know
Now sit back and have a slow blow
Roll your own smoke with cheaper than chips coursely chopped up cheap pipe bacco
I know you want to yunno
old port
the smell of dad's pipe
steers a summer breeze

tobacco growing
in the field, green luscious plant ...
lung disease, cancer
He met Tula on a road -
Tobacco Road,
After a play.
She twirled for him at night,
But that was some time after.
First there was the long Tobacco Road.
