My, how wamburdsly vett skitterelees
yammer in modduskwom, sutty slivers,
every pop muddleskiddly of red-orange,
in zakrum, zezzledop, vixaddamoth blur!
To see maxfluppinnes' purpled zizum,
at tillaradoom jazzowdline's tyll sass;
in pithy, murldizzily, gibborton ullius,
of dizzledop, rose, klixmuth contrast!
Exotion blue, wivern tuqlore so green,
and aximinuthy, of gold deemeried yox;
in burgundy-brown, tardily gimmixles,
and darkly, zimmery, villy moon shocks.
My, the wimpledug, lulliate, sable sith,
the gimminy, pinkly zappers of swiftly.
'Midst tealish, flimmering, lilac flitters;
smoking, floxam, hegemsity-a mystery!

My Fair Lady Lidja--disquiet--sigh
Limit thine opinions, my Lord Miltrose,
Thy intent fails midst tardily shadows
Albeit findeth tis aid satisfy
Ahh! My Lord Sir Gilroy, tis nice surprise
Twill thine fair milieu idle pitched moist lips
Delivery thrills with a smile post scripts
Admittedly the id did simplify
A lady said the incident eclipse
Ships neither sink nor swim in tranquil Springs
Flights robins and whipper-o-willow wings'
Claims to an anointing gift rectify
Blessings of an innocent child ... heartstrings
Mildly midst millennium ... a voice sings ...
“My Lord’s-in-waiting, beseech thy favor
an ear and harken of woven words will
of a lifetime breathes I, here and now,
True Lord in Waiting in time and place
for us to be … somewhere, someplace,
… for all time."

As the business's closure loomed in the distance,
Anxiety gripped me tightly, a relentless insistence.
Late-night thoughts birthed migraines, a sleepless affair,
The shop had been more than a store; it was friendships we'd share.
Evenings converged, weekends embraced at the store's cozy nook,
I couldn't fathom it all disappearing with a single closing book.
But for a moment, a glimmer of hope did appear,
In a friend, not just any, but a love sincere.
She'd been the beacon, the reason I'd smile,
I believed she'd support me through any trial.
A shoulder to lean on, a hand to wipe tears,
Oh, how mistaken I was, as my heart faced its fears.
The calls turned silent, like a fading star's light,
Texts arrived tardily, replies devoid of their usual might.
Answers grew brief, disinterest reared its head,
My heart ached profoundly, but faith I still spread.

Colourful carmine leaves tardily float down,
One by one like a russet rain,
Tall tanned trees wearing a gossamer gown,
Sighing let go of the ruby train,
Leaves swirl and twirl like a crimson chain;
Orange pumpkins are bright and ready,
Children come with their tricks or treats,
As the cerise leaves fall down steady,
Children await their Halloween sweets,
Fall is here with its welcome beats.

Echoes of their squalling,
finally interferes with my slumber.
Opening my eyes,
to see the pensive faces of the ladened.
And my ears,
to the ear-splitting shrill of the piteous.
Showing me their greatest fears,
Slowing becoming reality before their eyes.
I have seen for myself,
brothers smothering one another.
As a new era seeks recognition,
Iniquity impetuously taking its position.
Tardily becoming the order of the day.
Shortly to be a disease we cannot contain.

Fashioning the favourable foul,
Cutting the caustic cordial,
Rearing a rabid recall.
Pardon the potion
When blind and blundering
We fathom the favourable foul.
String along the slug
When casually and crazed
We concede the caustic cordial.
Split the sauce
When tardily and turbulently
We receive the rabid recall.
Behold the botheration of the booze!
Jilt the jitters of the jug,
Surrender the stress of the spirits.
Do this in the name
Of the bright, the blue
And the holy camera eye.
Amen.

Should a thousand expression limn the courage in you?
Never! not a word, not a crude
Not in a way that's true.
Should it bend your body but not your spirit?
Forever valiant, forever bold even so the ail
Your temple tardily buried.
Should you cry, not making crying your daily rhythm?
Despite crawling, despite wriggling pass
This life's cruel riddle.
Should victory be measured with breath and not death?
When life concludes, concluded breath matters not
For winning is not determined by breath.

Sunday poem on a Wednesday!
Time and space warps,
Unusually, unexpectedly,
Topsy turvy,
Poems composed tardily,
Sunday consciousness,
On a Wednesday
For goodness sake,
What's at stake,
Lunch at breakfast,
Words that don't rhyme,
Dreams remembered in patches,
Or is 'this' a dream scene?
Pain and delight playing,
Silence typing,
Out of synch,
Yet in the pink,
In case you wonder,
I am sober, as always,
No substance other than air,
Warped time doesn't care
Twists and turns,
Days like this,
And,
Most importantly,
Being okay,
With it all!
Monday Poem on a Thursday...Go Figure!
Why not mix up the days,
Jumble many possible ways,
Edging moment by moment
And within freedom gained,
Meditative thinking retained,
Flight with grounded feet
Here, the mystic key,
Space to think and be,
Heart and mind co-joined
Two worlds NOT in collision,
Fusing in a greater vision,
One Captain, many crew
Hence another poem out of time,
Transcendence is no crime,
Catching up to where I Am!

i am a broken down clown
living my life like a silent film
moving quickly with no direction
as i apply the makeup to my life's
gymnastics, i begin to see the signs
of corrosion and deterioration
i sit and think of her as everybody in
the world that has ever loved me despite
my flaws and my faults
i make a small but explorable incision in the
centermost part part of my gut to see if anything
exists there still
i realized immediately but tardily that i have not worked
hard to become financially comfortable but worked smart
to be unabashedly afraid

She stood facing given destiny
Tall, dark, handsome, hopelessly smiling
The provderbial woman's anxiety
Of reality annexed in childlike dreaming
Her friends spoke resolutely
But she in denial made void the glance
While her heart beat passionately
And her head drunken in silence dance
Love should not be offered
For what is given counteracts our pride
Alone, Christ was delivered
Because a true lover gave till we chide
It will not spoil my joy if you
Refuse the gift, I will do it again gladly
Only so disappointed in you
I give for my own joy, nothing alters me.
So she went home feeling shy
Because they asked her, rather than they gave
But heart played drums on the sky
And longing rose and rave in wave upon wave.
The moment is gone though, and I
Read her story, and will not from love relent
Yes, there is no limit to the sky
And no sorrow when I am like my sentiment.
Given pride, love must given directly
Not offered, not fearful of rejection hesitate
For true love has no fear, nor tardily
Gives itself to the joy of love's bitter fate.
